Be very weary of this site. I booked a load, paid the deposit citizenship or charges a fee for their service and your protection. According to them the person never picked up the load kept the money, and that was the end. Citizen shipper said they cannot do anything for the lost money other than the fee that I paid to them they will give me a code when I used to rebook and I should not have to pay, of course the code didn't work and I had to pay again. Be very careful you are basically putting your trust in a stranger as the company will do absolutely nothing for you to protect you.

BUYER BEWARE
When you contact this company you will get offers from various transport companies. When you decline an offer some of these drives will offer a side deal that cuts out Citizen and their $120 our giving you a better price. I actually took one of these offers and lost $250. Apparently Citizen doesn't research their drivers.

Rick S. Picked up my kittens in Eastern Oklahoma and brought them to me in Santa Fe, NM. He kept me updated on his progress and sent me pictures of my babies during the trip. It was reassuring to see they were doing fine. He made sure they had food and water and a litterbox to use during the trip. If I ever need to transport a pet, I recommend Rick S. To do the job.

Nesta Howell received over $1,000 to commute our pets from Fort Worth Texas to North Carolina. We are here and our pets are still in Texas.

Nesta Howell is refusing to refund our money or make good on the delivery. One of our pets got sick before leaving Texas and she abandoned them at the Veterinarian Clinic.

The Veterinarian informed us that cats where cleared to travel and she refused to go pick them up. Our mother has since picked up our 3 healthy pets.

Abandoned pets ultimately result in euthanization.

We have repeatedly asked Nasta Howell for a refund of all or a portion of our money because the delivery of our pets had not occurred.

We have repeatedly asked her to deliver them and she refuses. Nesta Howell is very combative, argumentative and heartless.

Nesta Howell has pocketed over $1000 dollars and fails to deliver what we in good faith hired her to do.

This is not the kind of person you want to trust or interact with.

CitizenShipper….we are asking you to block her account and protect other families from this fraud and emotional distress and harm.

Nesta Howell….not to be trusted…very unprofessional!

Rescue out of money

Because of website issue or user error. I did not see a $150 extra fee on top of the transport. Immediately contacted the company and asked for a refund. 3 days later finally someone emailed me and told me to bad. The dog is aggressive and now we can't ship. They will not refund the booking fee even though I stopped and emailed immediately after finding out what happened. Instead of helping a rescue they think it's ok to charge something that wasn't meant to be.

Hidden fee

Success fee which is hefty hidden until you try to book. This should be upfront. I would not recommend to anyone.

The site takes no responsibility for the people that transit items/animals on their website. They got two stars for giving me a credit towards taking another chance. They would not give me my money back (since I no longer felt comfortable using the site) agreed to a price with a driver for pick up of a puppy but then after getting my deposit refused to give the breeder the needed contact info the day before he was suppose to pick up the puppy. Was VERY shady. So we didn't feel comfortable releasing the puppy to him. So he got $150 out of me for doing nothing other than screwing me and putting me in a difficult position with the breeder. I was stuck using this site because I didn't want to loose the outrageous $100+ fee on top of the already $150 dollars.

I recently had my dog transported from California to Texas. My driver, Tina, was very friendly. She was in constant communication with the person that had my dog in California and with me in Texas. She gave me a ETA and was right on time. My dog seemed to love her, showing affection towards and Tina showed affection to my Sasha.

My husband I found ourselves in a pickle. We had thought that our 22 lb. Mini Labradoodle would have been able to fly as a carry on the plane. When we found out that the only way to fly him would be in the bottom of the plane, we knew had to do some research.
We found Citizen Shipper and didn't look any further. The site is easy to navigate and lead us to the perfect carrier, Risa. She was extremely articulate and covered all my questions and then some! From pick up to drop off it went perfectly. They sent adorable pictures of Max's trip along the way.

I needed to ship my dog from Maine to Los Angeles and someone recommended this web site to me. I entered the details for the shipment and within two days I received nearly 20 bids. After communicating with several I picked one and booked the trip. Once you book, you pay a fee to Citizen Shipper and you get the phone number of the shipper. The shipper wanted full payment up front via Venmo without providing an itinerary or any other details. I asked for pictures of their driver licenses, a W-9 tax form and evidence of insurance and the shipper went dark. I repeated this experience twice more before giving up on the web site and blocking the credit card charges to CitizenShipper.com. This web site is full of scammers. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Don't do it

I had a transport for my puppy set up. It was the worst experience I've ever had. This is not the first time I've hired a transport company but this is the first time a transport has been cancelled. The drivers were in contact with the breeder and after a phone call they argued with her and made her feel uncomfortable and very unsafe having them come to her home for pick up. I've worked with this breeder before without any issues. After I reached out to citzenshipper they told me they won't refund my money and it would be saved as a credit. Lol like I'm using this website ever again. Go somewhere else it's worth it.

SCAM

Stole thousands of dollars from me for a cat. They continuously sent emails asking for more and more money. For insurance, for vaccinations, etc. They only accept ZELLE, or Cash App so beware that that those companies won't reimburse you. They can try and take down my post everyday but I'll be posting every single day!

It was overall a great experience. I feel like I was able to get quite a few drivers to see the listing. I got my first "bites" within hours of posting the listing. I gotfar more interest from shipping personel from this website as opposed to other pages with similar content. I had tried for a while before coming upon citizen shipper, using other large shipping company sites. It was easy to set up the listing and to communicate with drivers. I was able to pick the driver after a decent back and forth. The platform is quite professional and easy to use. I would use them again.

I've used citizenshipper twice with absolutely wonderful results both times, the first time was to transport two cats, and the second just now to transport a very frightened, fearful dog to me in Ohio. Both transports began in Kansas and ended in Ohio and the ease of how it is to use the site is amazing, I found a transporter within 2 days each times!
