I find the website very useful for finding information about watches, It's my first stop when considering a watch purchase. Their newsletter is also useful and informative. I have now purchased two watches via Chrono24 and am pleased with both.

I had an easy time finding what I wanted and had no trouble ordering and receiving what I purchased.
I went into Chrono24 skeptical, fully aware of horror stories of other "gray market" purchases. Like any type of market, however, Chrono24 is only as good as its sellers, and my own experience was positive.
Chrono24, for its part, made me feel a bit assured in its checkout process. When you select the watch, it waits for confirmation from the seller first before asking for payment information, and then holds the payment in escrow until the buyer confirms the product has been received. This meant that the seller would not get my money until I have the watch in my hand and I can confirm it's the same one I ordered. Great system!
But with any of these gray markets, you got to be smart and understand your risk each time. Can you trust the seller, how prolific is the watch you want (i. E. what are the chances that it will be fake), does the price match the value, and how much are you willing to spend on possible additional costs (i. E. international duties, watch servicing, etc.).
For me, everything lined up. The seller had a lot of good reviews and communicated with me, the watch I got was extremely unlikely to be a fake, and the seller was domestic which meant no overseas costs. The watch arrived on time, it worked, and I'm in love.
While I don't think I would buy, lets say, a Rolex Submariner from Chrono (or any gray market dealer for that matter), I'm definitely willing to give this site another try for future purchases.
I would not recommend this site for the luxury watch purchase.
Red flags: if you are the buyer then you can not cancel your purchase or get your money back if seller for example said that he shipped the watch but you never received it or it got stuck on custom in case of international shipment. Chrono24 says they dont provide any assistance between buyer and seller or any control. Seller can put any bogus fedex tracking number and ship watch to himself and sign for it and your money will be gone. And Chrono24 has no control over that. One more red flag - they dont comply with any customs regulations - for example CITES - which means if for example a leather strap is made of some endangered animal then it could be confiscated by customs but Chrono24 will not take any responsibility there. Avoid or you are risking to lose your money or watch!
I was a bit skeptic about buying a $9k watch here but, after doing some research, I found that dealers who post real pictures (not stock) are more likely to be legit. Then the trusted check out gave me a bit more confidence and finally my dealer offered a 15 day return policy. All that have me the peace of mind I needed to go ahead with the purchase. I'm very pleased with the results because I was tired of waiting for the AD to call me with a watch option I liked.
The ability to have access to watches around the world is great. Additionally, my transactions have been great thus far. The other features such as the watchbox and notepad have been great.
Secure, trustworthy, and most of all very easy to communicate and keep track of all things related to the transaction; seamless and intuitive online system to ensure all aspects are satisfied.
Best way to shop without running around from place to place pictures were 100 percent accurate delivered to my home as promised in a timely manner I can't wait to make my next purchase
Great place to shop for watches under a secure situation. However, the valuation of your collection is almost useless. I would about 30-40% of my watches they would either have no value for or just copied the original purchase price.
The entire process was quick and easy and I received the watch of my dreams in a little over two days. I will most certainly use Chrono24 again, and will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you!
