Spotted an ad from Chrono24 for a Tag Heuer Carrera Tourbillon at a reasonable price. The ad stated that the watch was in good condition. Made and offer, offer accepted and watch arrives. Package includes the watch I sought still in its original purchased plastic protection. It may not be completely new but if not its hard to tell. With it came a Tag Connected smart watch and both were in a display cabinet with a spare leather strap, a charger for the Connected and a very elegant charging stand. Very pleased!

Everything went very clear and smooth, the interaction with the seller was easy, quick and clear. The transaction was a little complicated due to the present situation and the watch took some time for the delivery due to Covid19, but ended well and all the time was clear where the watch was (customs, courier, final delivery, etc)

Chrono24 runs a tight ship. They exert just the right amount of control and oversight on a process that is easily distracted. I trust them. I was quite satisfied with their actions as an intermediary.

Chrono offer a well priced marketplace with some safe guards such as escrow payment to the seller which protects the buyer until the watch is delivered. One can also make an offer on the price and come to an agreement with the seller. Chrono24 does also communicate regularly with the buyer.
Cons are that watch authenticity isn't verified by Chrono24 and the 14 day guarantee on this doesn't really mean anything when most watch houses take a lot longer to validate a watch. I'm not sure what would happen if the watch was found to be a fake after this period. Communication from the seller can also be a bit hit and miss.
Overall I would use again.
