Items listed on the website/app that can be confirmed for purchase should not be if the items are not currently in stock and ready to ship. That's false advertising. Customers should know if whether or not an item is in stock or sold BEFORE, purchasing or even better should not be able to purchase a product if it's not in stock. That way it can't be ordered and further shipping delays to customers. It should say 'Sold Out' or out of stock'. Also, when communicating with customers about delays with orders, don't ask questions then get a response but still ship if the response was to cancel order which was an option outlined in the initial correspondence from Chic. You should definitely work to improve this process to prevent these types of mistakes which results in a bad customer experience.

Answer: Return policy is a joke, they don't honor it. They'll offer discounts and partial refunds until the return window runs out. If the window runs out just do a charge back. Most credit card companies will side with you due to them not honoring their own return policy.
