I've gotten 4 cat trees from them so far. I will not but one elsewhere as long as they keep selling them. My last one wasn't to my complete satisfaction (my cats love it) their customer service was fabulous! I highly recommend them.
I ordered a dog crate that I needed quickly for a new rescue dog I just got. Their site said 2 days shipping. After placing the order they informed me due to the pandemic it would be 7 to 10 days. I contacted them today 7 days later and they said my order was just acknowledging now and it would be probably 7 to 10 days. I cancelled the order. I was shocked at how poorly this company operated. I get that we are in a pandemic and that they probably are short staffed but if they would have told me up front what was going on I could have made better decisions. I will not use these folks again.
Chewys is the best, Customer Service is so polite and took care of my order in a timely fashion I waited 35 minutes and she took care of the shipping fee for me. They are very busy. God bless them all.
After using the company for prescription dog food and medication for about 3 years I notified them that I unfortunately had just euthanized my dog and inquired about stopping shipment on an order and returning an unopened box of dog food. Not only did they refund me the money for both boxes of dog food(they told me to just donate the food to a shelter) but they also refunded me his last prescription medication ( which I honestly had about 3 bottles of as I had weaned him off the apoquel), but they also sent me flowers in remembrance of my best friend. That is the most thoughtful thing I think any company of this nature could have ever done. Greatly appreciated.
Wow chewy has really gone downhill. Going to have to do my shopping elsewhere. They never contacted my vet like they claimed, they just pulled her prescription food from the order instead. They emailed me after I originally ordered to tell me instead of 2 days it would take 7-10 days. I've been on hold for over an hour trying to get this situation rectified but I'm done, this is ridiculous.
Placed an order and they shipped to the right street address, the wrong city. Took multiple emails and days to get response. Lesson learned... NEXT!
The most important option available here is free shipping after you reach a certain threshold in your purchases. Very handy especially for heavy bags with dog food.
What an epic failure. I depended on Chewy.com to be there for my pets and they completely let me down. Each time I placed an AutoShip order, I was able to modify it because my cat does not like to eat the same thing so I get different types of food for her. Everything is out of stock. No email warning to give me an advance notice that stock was running low on anything. Just a big slap in the face when I went in and tried to add things to my cart. I depended on them and I never even had a chance to go somewhere and buy something else because of such poor communication. Money from panic buyers mattered more than my pets did to Chewy. I depended on them and they completely and totally let me and my family of pets down.
Chewy was a wonderful and responsive company once. No longer. Phone calls are on hold, then dropped after 40 minutes. E- mails are promised to be answered in a "few days". Auto ship supplies are delayed, meaning that your pet may run out of food before they arrive. Website is overwhelmed and wonky.
After I placed an order they told me it would take a long time to ship. I requested to cancel and customer service went dead and no reply. They are very bad to deal with.
Chewy is a great site! They always have high quality products, and when buying in bulk (dog food, treats, etc.) you can save with their free shipping option. Also, AMAZING customer service. I wanted to return a sweater that didn't fit my dog, and they refunded the amount, waived the shipping fee on my new sweater, AND let me keep the old one to be donated to a local shelter. I'll be shopping here again!
Once a top notch company, now their deliveries take longer than ever. Their customer service rep had the audacity to claim the coronavirus is responsible, although I have been getting late deliveries for at least six months.
I used to get my deliveries in 2 days, now who knows, I have to keep checking their website because if it is promised on Tuesday, then it will be Wednesday, then Thursday... who knows when.
When I have called customer service previous times, they picked up on the first or second ring. Now it is forever on hold and customer service representatives with an attitude. I told her I wanted to cancel my account of 4 years or so, spending $100 to $200 every month, and she said okay, no problem. She didn't even ask why! A good company will ask if there is a problem they can solve. Also this customer service representative said that the people refusing to do their jobs in getting customers their products because of the rare possibility of their dying of the coronavirus were just more concerned about their health than "other people", meaning me. Wow, just wow.
I ordered a cat tree on March 10 and it said two day shipping as of today which is the 14th it says still processing to ship I called them three times with no help from anybody I'm just wondering where my cat tree is not very good guest service

I can't say anything bad about Chewy or customer service. They have been top notch in online ordering, shipping, customer service. When my cat Spooky passed Jan 30th 2020 I was deeply sad.We all know the feeling when our buddies/companion passes. I had 2-1/2 cases of prescription cat food left. I called chewy and they bought the unopened cases back, 52.60 ea. Awesome company. A few days ago the door bell rang, a guy with flowers was there. I didn't know any woman who would send me flowers. I'm a male. I opened the card that was attached. To my surprise, Chewy had sent me flowers.
What a kind, thoughtful, heartwarming thing to do. That made my day.

I have been using chewy for a while now for my dogs and cat. And its great. Its fast etc. never a problem.
Until the last delivery when that came the box was beat up and what was in it open and all over the place :( . But. After a call to the help-desk they were right on it! 2 days later i got a new bag of dog food with no cost!. I just wanna say you guys are awesome! Your service and caring is awesome :) . I am a costumer for live that's for sure

I have been using Chewy for my pet food needs for at least the past six years, and I have been very happy with the services that they have provided. All that seems to be over. I called to inquire about a recent order that should normally have arrived that day. I waited for phone help for 25 mins (at 8:00 AM). This is unacceptable based on the excellent service they have provided all these years. I sincerely hope that things change with them. Maybe they have become too successful?
You never know the package will come in 1-2 days or 5 like mine! If I knew I would order on Amazon where delivery does not happen more than 2 days and there is no minimum order
I ordered a bag of dog food and some shampoo from chewy.com. It had been a long time since I ordered from them and we had moved since. When I ordered I accidentally sent it to the wrong address, our old address. It was completely my fault and I called them to see what my options were - if I could re-order or maybe pay to have it picked up and shipped to me... They said no problem, corrected the address in my account, and re-sent the items I ordered at no charge to me. I was blown away! This was the most positive, easy, and caring service I have ever had! I will be a long time customer! Their prices are great to begin with and that customer service experience has me loving them!

Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
