Recently purchased business class tickets for international travel. I saved a lot of money and booking was and so easy. I will most definitely repeat business.
I ben bay ticket for my mom and she was going to the airport but taxi driver have flat tire so she miss her flight, I call customer service it was Indian try to pay the fee to get another day but the started to treat me like I'm stopped or like is my first time I travel the want to charge me more than 400$ just for fee and the try to get this fast the was tell me if u don't pay now u will lose your ticket, so thank god my friend was next to me he told me this person want to steal your money, so hung up the phone on them than I call another customer service he was also from India seam thing but this one want to charge me just almost 350$ so I feel these people like the work in this company like scam. So i call again another one this one he charged me for new ticket that cost $659.20 USD, i told them i don't give u right to charge me on my credit card this ticket so i was have argument and thank god i was recording his voice tell i told them i record your voice than he cancel this ticket he was want to charge me, so i call the air plan company to get this fix the charge me only 160$ and u can see that is not safe anymore to use this company CheapOair and now im try to sign in on my account i find then the delete my account i think so because i use my email and password the dont let me in to see my mom ticket, so im just want to know, this company is safe or all worker are scam treating people like that

After having to cancel because of a hurricane and being told my ticket would be good for a year, surprise! They refuse to honor it!
Susan, when you contacted us in October to discuss your options for canceling and rebooking, the agent tried to go over the rebooking details with you, and did advise you had 1 year from the purchase date to rebook your flights, that deadline was 9/2017. You disconnected the call and we never heard back from you until 3/14 in which you wanted to rebook the trip now. Because you never actually called us to cancel the flight, or the airline prior to Oct 14. The airline listed you as a no show, therefore you forfeited the credit, so that is why the agents cannot assist in rebooking using the old ticket, you have no ticket to use. It is upto the airlines discretion to re-open the tickets, and allow a future credit. You can contact our office and ask them to send for a waiver, and we can wait and see what United airlines says. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Our flight from Tokyo to the USA went via Canada, Vancouver BC then Portland, Or. Having a Dutch passport I was notified that I could not board the plane, because I did not have an eTA of which I did not know and was never told of by cheapoair. My husband and I ended up traveling separate. My husband is 82 years old and get confused very easily so that was quite traumatic.

When this was booked online, we put an alert on the screen, as well as in the email that you are to verify travel documents needed when traveling internationally, it is the travelers responsibility especially when connecting through other countries. Terrible experience booking with Cheapo Air. They cancelled our return flight s because we were not home to verify credit card. Then they said they could rebook but flights were more money now. It was the worst experience I ever encountered travelling. Ever person gave a different story. There was a separate 100.00 fee and 10.00 fee on credit card once things were booked. I will never use them again. I learnt my lesson.
The experience was horrible. One of the worst. Service was rude and they make it EXTREMELY difficult to cancel. After wasting time (on hold extensively, speaking to rude representatives and being transferred repeatedly) I still currently have no verification of my refund being processed, though I was told otherwise.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.

Tommy, very sorry to hear of your recent billing issue. But we do not charge additional fees on anyones card that have not been authorized. We do advise you at the end of the transaction you will be billed in 2 separate transactions, but they will not be more than the agreed upon price. Take the charges you see, and add them up, you should get exactly what was authorized. Provide the 8 digit booking number, and we can assist you with your issue.
