Booked a five hour flight, ended up with a 16 hour flight with two more layovers. I asked who the F$&k would book a flight that took that much longer for the same price as the five hour flight and was told they captured my screenshots. Go f yourself, i want to see my family not DFW for 7 hours and watch 2 connecting flights go to Calgary before i go to Vancouver and stay for 2 hours then to Calgary. Leave at 8:15 am get to Calgary next day at 12:15 am instead of 1 pm. A$&holes, rip off, sh&tty app. Please Please Please use someone different
Their website is totally misleading and company uses deceptive practices. App leads you to think lowest prices apply to your requested dates. When you click on those flights it again confirms the dates you are requesting. I followed this procedure then got a confirmation email with the totally wrong days! I called immediately and was told that I could not change or refund the flight without paying $150 fee. I refused b/c there was an error due to their website.
A few days later ( after lots of calls to airlines, etc) I called CheapO back to see if they would change or refund even some of the tickets. They refused to refund anything because it had been 24 hours and after talking to multiple supervisors (who were very difficult to understand b/c of their accents and very RUDE!) Also, after being on hold for 45 minutes they hung up on us. This is a terrible company! Do not use them!
My husband is in Iraq. He gets to come home for 14 days out of a year. We booked flight, charged my card, and send email confirmation of booking number. He arrives to airport and there is no ticket for him. Plane is full! Cheap o Air books him on a flight to leave two days later. I asked representative if they would compensate us at all. He just lost two days with his family. Representative tells me no, this was a SUPERVISOR, Jayden his first name. Brandon archer back to base and got approval to come back two days later. Once again spoke to a supervisor, London, to switch his return flight two days later. He informed me that he would change the return date but for a $150 fee and additional airline charge fee, approximately around $500. DON'T USE THIS SITE! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF SOMEONE DOESN'T DO THEIR JOB!
Cheapoairways. Worst ever travel Agent/Merchant. I wouldn't recommend to throw in there harden earn money to these guys. I would rather prefer to give the money to homeless person or to some charity or donation.

We purchased tickets for a trip two months before the event. The time of departure that ultimately showed up on the ticket was incorrect and could not be changed on their website. A call was made within the hour of the transaction to correct the departure time. The agent indicated afterwards that there was no charge since the call was placed within an allowable time frame. Two months later when the bill was emailed a charge of $66 per passenger was added as a post booking charge. Customer service agents and supervisors say that in their recordings that their booking agent advised of these charges. I have asked to listen to the recording... so far hasn't happened. It is one thing to make a charge it is a whole different thing to have such deception. It seems there was no difference in flight cost between this program and others. Hold time and phone time to attempt to resolve this concern multiple times has been over 3 hours. This company is not honorable.
Cheapoair is the biggest scam company. They will lie to your face and say air Canada or west jet has a change flight fee of 200 dollars when that's not true it's only 75. They put me on hold for 1.34 hours and then hung up on me. Yelled at me. Said they can't and won't change my flight unless I pay $200 per flight plus the difference in flight cost and their extra fees. They're a horrible unprofessional company. You will have the biggest headache dealing with them. Just book directly through the airline it's not worth the little bit you sometimes save.
Never Never book anything from this company. Once you make any transaction, you are most likely to lose both money and service. This is the worst company i ever booked ticket from. I wouldn't doubt if they are a group of scammers. I booked a ticket 2 months before my actual flight. When i did all of my plannings they called me one day before my flight day saying there is a schedule change. I had already booked other flights from my destination and reserved hotel rooms based on the flight from cheapoair. There was no way i could fly in a different schedule. They were not able to provide me another option. I had to keep calling them and they would put you on hold for hours or just hang up your phone for no reason. After 7 hours of continuous calling/talking to them, there was a customer service rep. Who agreed to refund 100% and suggested me to book another flight for my travel. I booked another flight and flew next day. When i came after a month, they haven't refunded my money yet. When i called customer service and waited couple of hours while someone transferred to schedule change department, the guy (very rude and unprofessional one) tells me that there is nothing to refund. While i tried to remind him of the other person i talked to one month ago, he simply says he doesn't know who i talked to and there is no record, so he can't refund. This is more than ridiculous. I don't know why companies like these still exist.
I had some major issues with a booking. Arrived to the airport & there wasn't ANY ticket. When I figured out the problem CheapOAir Customer Service was great. Accommodating and pleasant. Didn't think I'd use them again but I've booked 2 flights since then & will continue to do so.
They should be investigated for false advertising and all of us with these bad experiences should sue them. And I am now looking into that. When you select a flight to proceed with booking, they have a bold and enticing notice at the top of the screen that says, " 24-Hour Cancellation." This is done to be in line with all the other competing sites that say, "Free 24-Hour Cancellation." So one feels there is no harm in holding a flight for 24 hours because there is no loss if you cancel. Wrong! They are obviously collecting thousands, if not millions from this misleading little trick. If you cancel. They charge you a cancellation fee that can be anything that they choose and it is not stated what they will charge you until after you cancel! They will give you a full ticket refund and then separately charge your card a cancellation fee - in my case $75. In other cases, $150 and I'm sure it could be more. This is illegal. It has to be stated exactly what they will charge you before they have the right to place a charge on you card. All of their competition, i. E. legitimate companies, do not charge a cancellation fee, and their notice is designed to look the same as their competition. But this is how they make money. Beware, because when you go to your credit card company to reverse the petty charge as I did, my request was declined! So I'm stuck, and I think I just may sue them and I would encourage everyone else to do the same.
Booked a ticket online for 2 round trip tickets last minute, they sent confirmation for tickets booking, later they sent an email saying they need to confirm phone number with credit card company and should be done in couple hours and don't worry about it, i call them they transfer me in a circle over and over to different departments. They said i have to wait for my credit card company to confirm my phone number and i can't use a different credit to book same flight, i receive another email saying your ticket has been issued and is not refundable and don't book another ticket, and i receive a phone call from them saying everything seems fine and they will send E-ticket and confirmation in 3-4 hours, nothing happened i call back and they say oooops we can't book your ticket because price went up almost double and not even available for the days i want. And they blame me for all of that. I had to book another last minute ticket on another airline that cost me double the original price cause i had no other option. I never had any issue booking with any other website and that was my first time trying cheapoair. There staff in India is not professional and seems lost and i hate to say that it was very difficult to speak to most of them. I wish they have canceled the ticket right away when it didn't go through first time and saved me 12 hours and probably i would have booked same flight with some other website immediately.
Worst experience ever! Fraudulent company! Beware! My wife booked my name as second traveler and confirmation had completely misspelled my name, when trying to correct the issue they wanted to charge a large additional fee for their mistake! Then decided to cancell within an hour they wanted 150.! I then decide to research this company and noticed numerous recent complaints on how they rip people off! My advice is to stay away and deal directly with airline company
This company should be shut down. They are scam artists. Stay away. Too many other places to get tickets.
I paid for my ticket. I got my booking number flight number. Shortly after I get a email saying reservation had been cancelled. I was told that the money wasn't charged to my account. I called the bank and I was told it came out. I have been fighting with Cheapoair to at least get my ticket so I can fly and they wont do it. They were very rude to me. I tried calling Turkish airlines to see if they will help and I have yet to hear from them. I was to go over seas to see my dying brother! Now I can't because they took all my travel money

I booked a ticket through Cheapoair.com for 325$; They changed the price up to 389$ and once i contacted their support they say Prices got changed!
Also they charged separately 20$ in my credit card and they claim this is for their service; This was not their once i booked the ticket
I canceled the ticket immediately then they charged 75$ for cancellation and 20$ for service; They say its their company policy

We paid over $7000 for a trip of 5 to Africa. They overcharged us and we disputed the amount to our credit card company. CheapOair recognized it was a mistake on their side and asked us to cancel the dispute and they will refund the $459, which we did. However, they blocked our return tickets and we got stuck for several days. We had to purchase new tickets to return to the U.S.
The representative failed to convince me and put me on hold for ever in the name of calling his supervisor. Scam!
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
