My son booked a flight and within 10 mins we were told the flight had doubled its price and then we couldn't get a refund unless we spent the $400. It was a nightmare asking them to cancel the flight, their customer service email was non existent for me to cancel the flight. In the end I spoke to my bank a few hours later and had the card cancelled so they couldn't make a transaction. This is a total scam website, out of India.
CheapfareDeal is a scam. I booked a flight which cost $387.00. After charging me they said they were unable to get me the flights at that price, they wanted an additional $1100. 00. When I told them I wouldn't pay the additional amount they refused to refund my $387.00. Total scam outfit
This site is a scam. Their misleading practices. They advertise prices that are no longer available for flights. You will never receive a confirmation but instead a phone call to tell you one of your flights is no longer available and to lure you to buy a more expensive flight. And they will try and tell you that even thought one of your flights wasn't available they will still charge your card. They are so rude. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They are out of India and you cant even understand them. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
Please do not use these people they are running a scam and using it on everyone the same. Check the BBB. They stated they booked flights just to come back and say you have to pay an additional $500 for tickets no longer on sale, try to make you sign permission to debit your card, lie about cancellation, make additional calls after booking stating you need more to book and the ticket has already been paid. They put their info on the ticket to change or cancel at will. If you cancel or tell them to stop calling they cancel the ticket and charge you $500 in fees. YOU WILL HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR CARD AND CALL YOUR BANK BUT NOT BEFORE THEY ROB YOU BLIND! DO NOT DO IT! I HAD TO CALL THE AIRLINES TO SEE THEY HAD GOT THE TICKET AT A CHEAP PRICE BUT CHARGED APPROXIMATELY AN EXTRA $200 THEY CALLED BACK FOR $597 MORE SAYING THEY COULD NOT BOOK THE TICKET AT THE PRICE ON SITE ADN THE TICKET WAS ALREADY COMFIRMED WITH THE AIRLINES DAYS PRIOR, AFTER I CHANGED THIER EMAIL ADDRESS TO MINE, SMH. It's a scam website. If you buy a ticket from this website, call your bank immediately and ask them to stop the payment to these guys and also block the card. Please dont book any tickets. They showed me hell in just 30 mins after booking the ticket. They said, your one-way ticket is booked and other one way is not confirmed by the airlines. You need to pay extra amount. Their positive reviews are fake. Dont get into their trap. These idiots called me 15 times in just span of 8 minutes. Just understand, no customer service guys will call you.
Buyer beware be very aware! My wife and I booked a flight with Cheapdealsfare.com, to Fort Meyers Fla. In order to attend a funeral. The cost we paid for the tickets was $511.24 for the two of us. However, about 2 hours after booking our flight, we received a call from a Mr. Liam Wandson, an agent from cheapdeals. He informed us that due "to a computer glitz" cheapdeals was experiencing, the flight we booked was now overbooked. As I mentioned we were going to Fort Meyers for a funeral that I was to conduct. Consequently, we had to get there and it already was the 11th hour! Mr. Wandson said he could arrange new flights, but the cost was now going to be $863 rather than the previously promised fare of $511 which is a $352 increase! Some might call this the classic "bait and switch maneuver." However, in exchange for allowing cheapdeals to rebook us on another flight Mr. Wandson promised the following: Our seats for our new flight reservation would be selected in advance by cheapdeals and we would also be able to check one bag free of charge. We were also told that within one month we would receive a $500 voucher for a future flight, as compensation for the immense inconvenience and additional cost for the tickets, that cheapdeals had caused. Needless to say, none of these promises were kept. When we arrived at the airport, Spirit Airlines had no record of a flight reservation ever having been made in our names! Therefore, we obviously couldn't get our boarding passes and of course this also meant that no prior seat selections had ever been made either. If it weren't for a very compassionate Spirit Airlines employee we would not have been able to get a flight out to Fort Meyers! Upon booking we had to pay $79 for our bag, which according to cheapdeals should have been free! And of course, our rebooked reservations cost us an additional $352. On top of that we were charged $170 additional dollars for their "services rendered" for changing our flight! Subsequently an agent said this fee would be refunded. But that has yet to appear on our credit card statement. Efforts to resolve issue has been futile to say the least! To date I have placed a total of 14 calls to cheapdeals and initially I was told Mr. Wandson was unavailable. But after a number of subsequent calls, I was told by "Kevin" that Mr. Wandson no longer worked for the company. However, "Kevin" said that I could expect to receive a call from one of the supervisors, either Mr. Eric Parker or Mr. Walter Major, within 12 hours to resolve the issue. That was on June 25th. I did not receive the promised call so I placed a number of calls and finally reached Mr. Walter Major on July 2nd. During our conversation he acknowledged that the whole debacle was cheapdeals fault and that Mr. Wandson had been fired as a result of it. When I pointed out that we had lost a total $680 ($158 in baggage fees, $352 from the change in ticket price, $170 for service fees) Mr. Major said, "he would talk to the owner" about the possibility of getting our baggage fees reimbursed to us. But he was unwilling to address the remaining $522. Mr. Major promised to get back to me by July 10th. That date came and went with no return call. So, I called on July 17th and again on the 18th and both times I was told Mr. Major was unavailable. However, the agents promised that Mr. Major would call me back. To date I have yet to hear from Mr. Major! So again, be cautious when using cheapdealsfare.com They will promise you the world and leave you grounded! The bottom line is that we lost a total of $680! Not to mention the promised $500 flight voucher for our immense inconvenience during a time of bereavement! As well as the aggravation and wasted time which cannot be quantified. At the very least cheapdealsfares.com is one of the most incompetent companies in the travel industry. At most cheapdealsfares.com is a scam! So, fly away from using cheapdealsfares.com or the money in your wallet will be the only thing that takes flight!
Booked my flights and sure enough, either pay a upcharge fee or pay a cancellation fee becuase they couldn't confirm available seats! After argueing with them for 40 min. On the phone, they said someone from the cancelation department would be calling. They had no seats available for my flights that I already paid for! Beware!
I do not recommend booking through this company. I booked a flight only to have them call me and tell me it was overbooked and my options were to pay more money and fly from a different airport. I couldn't get a refund so that is what i had to do. This is unacceptable!
Bait and switch company, fraudulent practices. Read the other posts and reviews! Agree to a price pay for the flights then within hours to the next day call and say its $4000 to stay on the same flight. Very aggressive calling numerous times and bully tactics. Fraudulent site, company and only scum would work for a company like that. Karma b##ch!
Stay away from this scam Website! They call you back telling you your flight is no longer available & try to charge you huge sums for a different flight. They say no refunds!
Yes, like everyone else here I found this to be a bait and switch. I don't understand how they are still online. I'm sure many people are pressured or fooled into their higher priced tickets, I made them cancel mine and refund my card. Then I found a flight cheaper than what they were offering me through one of the usual reputable sites.
I booked my tickets and they called and said the booking is not confirmed abd that i have to oay additional charges to confirm booking. They asked additional $550 to get confirmed tickets. This company is a scam. Please dont waist your time and money with them.
Oh boy! I can't even cry from what this bad cheap deals fare did for me and my friend. We booked a ticket together for $850 each. Then we received a call that we can't sit together, and also not included luggage. So we have to take a different flight for double price! So we took it on the condition that we get for this price extra leg room seats, sitting together, insurance, kosher meal, free luggage. Then it started stressful days with them that I could not describe them at all! We asked them for the number of our seats. We were put on hold for hours! And most time they knock down the phone by mistake... Or tell you that supervisor is going to call you back in few minutes. And you wait... And no body calls you. Also we asked for conformation email from them, that we are getting the extra leg room seats. And They promised us 100 times that we are getting it in few minutes... But we never got it. Then they promised us that when we arrive to airport we will get every thing promised. And we trusted them. But when we arrived we didn't get extra leg room seats, no sitting together, no insurance, even the kosher meal we asked for we didn't get, even tho there is no cost for it. Then when we came back from our important trip we tried to dispute the charges from this ugly travel agency, but wells Fargo put them selves on the side of the scammers not allowing me to dispute. Please please! Help me get back my money! Please who ever has any idea, please tell it to me! I'm poor and I want back my money! Please give me advice how to win these 2 scammers. Cheap deals fare and wells Fargo! 😰😪 I can't stop cry.!
I thought I bought a RT ticket for a good price. Later got email saying the ticket was "pending." I called to find out more. They tried to sell me another ticket for a much higher price. Eventually, after at least a dozen phone calls, getting hung up on many times, being left on hold for 30 minutes -- I finally gave up. Had to cancel my credit card so that they couldn't charge me. Terrible way to run a business. Altogether a frustrating experience.
They give u 10 minutes to get the deal of a lifetime. I ordered a flight from SLC-PHL all on southwest I've flown southwest before and they usually have bag fees included. They called and changed one of my flights to frontier which I've flown many times and said they had to charge me another $85 for bags.(carryon) when I told them I'll just cancel they told me I had to pay $82 for canceling fees. I told him they said on their sight I had up to 33 hours to cancel and he fed me some bs that is only if they haven't booked. Total scam
Many have said it already. They charge a VERY low price. Then you get an e-mail it isn't final unless you call them. Then, when you call, they tell you you can't have the agreement you paid for, but they offer you something way more expensive. How can this be legal?
I "booked" a flight to Mexico City for 3 people. A few hours later, I received an email that my booking was pending and to call them. I was told that only 1 person (my 15 year old) could be placed on the flight I selected, but the other 2 people could be booked on a different flight (at a much higher price) or on different days at the same price. I declined and told them to cancel. The rep then tells me that I can only get a flight credit. I explained that I read the fine print and that refunds are issued within 24 hours of the booking. Also, I hadn't even been charged and the flights weren't even available. So it's not possible to be charged for something I tried to book but they admitted that they couldn't provide. After much debate, the rep agreed that I would not be charged but he seemed upset that I didn't fall for his lies and that my argument was logical. This company is not honest and will lie to customers in order to keep money for a service they can't provide or to get you to pay a higher fare than what was advertised on their website. Just be sure to read the fine print and rules before attempting to book with them.
Booked a flight, got an email that it was being processed and needed to speak with agent. I received a call and caller ID said non-profit, I called back and the agent was on break. Agent called back and tried to change flight and double the price. I asked to cancel and told I would only get flight credits. I had to report to bank and cancel my card. Nightmare.
Booked air tickets through this web site, Cheapdealsfare it is 1000% SCAM. When i want to make change within 24hrs, they offered you a 5x flight price and said it is not refundable. They even said their web site price needs to be updated, whatever you see is not true and not honor. They just tried to rip you. The so call customer service name is J.D. Something, bunch of scammers. It turns out i have to call my credit card company to cancel my current card to protect myself. Everyone please report to FTC about this scam site Cheapdealsfare.
Answer:They say they didint want to refund me. Iaks for a refund cause the flight i wanted was not available. They sais it was not refundable cause it was on *discount* i said it's not the flight i want at the price you display so i want a refund. So i call my bank and ask them if it was charge so they said no. I didint take any chance and cancel my card. I'am not the only one with this problem.
