My son booked a flight and within 10 mins we were told the flight had doubled its price and then we couldn't get a refund unless we spent the $400. It was a nightmare asking them to cancel the flight, their customer service email was non existent for me to cancel the flight. In the end I spoke to my bank a few hours later and had the card cancelled so they couldn't make a transaction. This is a total scam website, out of India.
CheapfareDeal is a scam. I booked a flight which cost $387.00. After charging me they said they were unable to get me the flights at that price, they wanted an additional $1100. 00. When I told them I wouldn't pay the additional amount they refused to refund my $387.00. Total scam outfit
This site is a scam. Their misleading practices. They advertise prices that are no longer available for flights. You will never receive a confirmation but instead a phone call to tell you one of your flights is no longer available and to lure you to buy a more expensive flight. And they will try and tell you that even thought one of your flights wasn't available they will still charge your card. They are so rude. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They are out of India and you cant even understand them. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
Please do not use these people they are running a scam and using it on everyone the same. Check the BBB. They stated they booked flights just to come back and say you have to pay an additional $500 for tickets no longer on sale, try to make you sign permission to debit your card, lie about cancellation, make additional calls after booking stating you need more to book and the ticket has already been paid. They put their info on the ticket to change or cancel at will. If you cancel or tell them to stop calling they cancel the ticket and charge you $500 in fees. YOU WILL HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR CARD AND CALL YOUR BANK BUT NOT BEFORE THEY ROB YOU BLIND! DO NOT DO IT! I HAD TO CALL THE AIRLINES TO SEE THEY HAD GOT THE TICKET AT A CHEAP PRICE BUT CHARGED APPROXIMATELY AN EXTRA $200 THEY CALLED BACK FOR $597 MORE SAYING THEY COULD NOT BOOK THE TICKET AT THE PRICE ON SITE ADN THE TICKET WAS ALREADY COMFIRMED WITH THE AIRLINES DAYS PRIOR, AFTER I CHANGED THIER EMAIL ADDRESS TO MINE, SMH. STOP THEM IMMEDIATELY!
Their site will show you prices that are over $100 less then any legit site. When you book it, you are not charged yet and you will get an email saying they will call you to confirm. When they call they will tell you that the price is now more then double what you booked and over $100 more then legit sites. They told us it was now over $700. Then they will try to sell you anything they can that is more then the price you first booked. If you try to say no they keep hounding you and try to make it seem like your the bad guy. If you want a refund they will tell you they can't as it's already booked. However in the email you got it says you are not charged until they call and confirmed. We did not confirm and they told us there we will be a cancelation fee. After going back and forth we told them not to charge our card and hung up.
This travel agent uses outright lies and bait and switch tactics to take your money! After I chose flights from their website, I was called and told that the selected itinerary was not available but another was available for a higher cost but the new tickets would be ECONOMY FARE. The routing was better so I bit. I confirmed with the sales rep Jady Wilson (probably a false name) that the full economy fare would allow me to select seats in advance at no extra cost and that carry-on bags were included. This woman made the full pitch so I purchased the tickets. After receiving the airline locator code I found ti was a BASIC ECONOMY FARE and so I had none of the benefits of economy. I called for two days and got only hangups. The "message us" and "chat" features of the Cheapdealsfare website are disabled Total fraudsters!
Booked 2 tickets at a great deal and had them call to say the tickets no longer are available and the price went up thousands. Said if I tried to cancel it would be a $300 charge and only credits with the airline for the rest. They told me 2400 would be the price and suddenly it jumped to 2,800. They took 621.22 for themselves. Absolute scam, I'm so mad at myself for letting this happen.
This company will take your money and time. I booked and payed for tickets. What i found out later was the airline could not issue tickets because they were overbooked. The representative then offerred an alternative flights costing hundreds of dollars more than the original tickets. We went back and forth and ended the transaction with a cancelation fee of $149.00. We had booked other flights for other family members and 2 weeks later no information, no tickets, a representative that could not provide, the basic answers to my questions, "The agent working on your booking is not available, she will call you in hour." 5 hours later no call. Just bad customer service all around. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!
TERRIBLE experience! I booked a RT flight. The next day I was told that the return flight could not be confirmed and they tried to increase the price for another flight. I asked them to cancel it since it clearly states in their agency confirmation email, "You may opt to cancel your booking in case updated or alternate option does not work for you." I was told that they had to contact the airline since the first leg of my trip was confirmed with them and it would cost me $45 to cancel. I stated I should not have to pay the fee since they could not provide the flights I requested. The next day I had to call FOUR times to get a cancellation and was told I would receive notification in my email in "15-30 minutes" each time. I never did. They also kept saying I needed to pay $45. Well, I called the airline and THERE WAS NO RECORD OF MY RESERVATION for the first leg. I once again called and told them I spoke with the airline and I had no reservation therefore no need to pay $45. I also refused to get off the phone until they sent me a written notification of cancellation from their agency. It took less than 10 seconds.
This company is a SCAM. Bait and switch. And good luck trying to cancel.
SCAM! There search engine will show low fares, then they will phone you from their OVERSEAS CALL CENTER to say the Airlines doesn't have that lower fare, but will get you "confirmed" by booking a more expensive flight. SCAM! American Airlines should be ashamed to allow interactions with this SCAM company. Just read their Itinerary notice and butchering of the English language. It's a shame any company is allowed to do business in the United States like this SCAM!
It's a scam site they are gonne show a price you book your flight and after you call, the flight you want is not available. They then say you need to pay the ticket for double price. If you say that you want a refund they say is not refundable. I had to cancel my cerdit card. It's fraud and dishonest marketing. Dont make business with them.
Cheap fares is illegitimate. A scam Booked 6 seats for 475 ea on United. Half hr later they call to tell me fare is 710. So I said ok cancel it. They refused to cancel it and tried to charge me 2500. Said I'd have a credit Blocked the charge on my credit card United said the fare was fully refundable within 24 hrs but the company still wouldn't budge. Do not book with them at all!
I don't see how this company can continue as a legitimate business. I recently booked a flight through them. A few minutes after completing the booking, I received a call from one of their agents informing Me that the price at which I booked would not be honored. The agent informed me of the following: 1. The flight that I had booked had placed me on standby. 2. Offered to book me on a flight with a different airline at a date one day later than my previous booking. 3. The cost of my booking would increase by 62%.
I told them just to cancel the booking. They refused. Fly far away from this company.
BE AWARE! 100% scammers! Displaying low prices, fishing up costumers, never confirm your booking. When you calling agency, they offer way higher price. Charging about $100 penalty fee if you cancel your booking. Easy way to make money! It isn't clear, why they are in the search system
Do NOT book tickets with this company! Right in the fine print it states that your booking is not guaranteed and is only "a request." I booked tickets through them that they never actually booked (even tho I had a confirmation) and had to rebook through the airline at a much higher rate because this company never booked my flight. Stay far far away from this site! They've also been investigated by the BBB and were determined a bait & switch site.
I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Cheapdealsfare. I booked a flight through their website for $141.33, and everything seemed fine initially. However, a few minutes later they call me back. Stating that they can't honor my trip, but If I would add $175 more they would. They were very rude on the phone and very quick to hang up the phone. They call me a fool and said I was the one who came to them, not them to me. And that they will not refund my money. Even though they are the one canceling my trip. There was no clear explanation or alternative offered. I tried to contact their customer service, but it was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. After hours on hold and multiple attempts, I finally reached someone who was unhelpful and seemed uninterested in resolving my issue. They said they will not give me my money back, and if I want the fight I have to pay the extra $175. To make matters worse, the airline itself is selling the same tickets for $86.00. Cheapdealsfare is a scam, with rude customer service. In the end the customer rep would give his name are employee ID and told me to go figure it out myself. Overall, Cheapdealsfare caused me a lot of stress, wasted time, and extra expenses. I will never use their service again and would not recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and book directly with the airline or a more reputable travel agency.
Basically they're fraudsters. You think you're getting an incredible deal, and then they say you're on stand-by and to keep your seats, you need to pay $5,000! So much for getting a good deal. Just terribly dishonest.
If I could do a NEGATIVE 3 - I'd do it. We used CheapFlights.com to get fares. The CheapDealsFare was chosen and we ordered two trips with Delta and American and got reasonable pricing for them. But, they emailed me saying that they couldn't confirm the flights and we needed to call them back asap. So, we did. And they continued to scam us by saying the fare was no longer available and we need to move over to Southwest and pay more and they would get confirmation that they could get two free checked bags for us. We pushed back hard on the second booking and said this is highway robbery and they should not sell or advertise what they cannot complete. We hung up on the second booking and did not complete the conversation with them to see if they charge us anyway. Manipulative, dishonest and forceful and shady conversations all happening in a call center overseas - likely Indian.
Please please do not use this company to book your flights. If I could them a 0 rating, I would. They have the cheapest price for flights only to attract customers to their sites. They never confirm your seats and if you're not careful, you'd find out days later or even on your flight day that your ticket was cancelled. I booked 2 tickets for my mom and called to confirm and they told me that they can't confirm and that it's likely the tickets would not go through. I talked to multiple agents and even the supposed manager who hung up on me. It's all people from India, who you know have a monopoly on scams, so be careful.
They tricked my wife into thinking we got round-trip tickets to Orlando for our family of 7 for only $540 with Frontier. They took payment and immediately after the payment told her now you have to choose if you are bringing bags and do you want to sit together with your kids? When my wife said yes, they told her it was going to be an additional $1,600. My wife was shocked and said that's more than Delta we normally fly with and the rep pretty much told her that's fine if we didn't want to continue, but we would forfeit our $540 we paid for 3 minutes ago.
My wife came and found talked to me and we had CheapDealsFare send us information about what we just purchased for $540 and what else would be included for $1,600. To not lose the $540 we decided to go forth, but at that time they said the flight had booked up more and now it would be an additional $150 if we want seat selection. So naively, we were conned into more money. (later I went and looked up our flight and both ways it's only about 20% full… mostly empty! Liars!)
When it came to our flight, we found that one of my kids didn't have checked luggage paid for (either way) and that we were going to have to pay $69 x 2. We showed Frontier our written confirmation from CheapDealsFare showing "1 Free Checked Bag/passenger" included in our rip-off price package we paid, and Frontier basically said too bad, they are not affiliated with CheapDealsFare. And they were pretty rude about it too. They suggested we book directly with them next time.
Company posts cheap flights online, sends a receipt/booking confirmation, but doesn't send flight confirmations from airlines. When you call them, they try to charge you more to book OR attempts to charge a cancellation fee. Those are your only two options, and the call center is a "group" of a couple of ppl that are all in on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. 100% a SCAM
They just sold ticket to me and next day When i call to confirm, they told me I had to pay $400 extra because of overbooking. When i refuse to pay, they say this is NON REFUNDABLE TICKET! THIS SCAM WEBSITE
Answer:They say they didint want to refund me. Iaks for a refund cause the flight i wanted was not available. They sais it was not refundable cause it was on *discount* i said it's not the flight i want at the price you display so i want a refund. So i call my bank and ask them if it was charge so they said no. I didint take any chance and cancel my card. I'am not the only one with this problem.
