I don't like the fact they don't have buyer protection for their users. I only use it send money to trusted family and friends. Never buy anything with cash app. I'll stick to PayPal for that option.

So there customer service sucks I had money taken out of my account when i ask customer service to help the they did not instead they let the scammer that took money from me wouldn't take care of the issue and refund me so $#*! that app

I was sent 40 dollars from a friend for some BIRTHDAY STUFF. Cash app took it and when i tried to use customer service they told me it was a glitch and that i owed from a prior transaction. How is that even possible tbey deny the transaction if theres no money. Yet they claimed i owed from a previous purchase its not even possible. THEY STOLE FROM A 12 YEAR OLD

Cash app is the worst app I've ever used they are professional scammers I needed to send a vendor a $400 crypto payment so I bought $400 worth of Bitcoin and cash app charged me $7 to buy them said I needed to send them identification verification after they let me buy the BTC using my visa debit card and wouldn't approve perfectly visible pictures of everything they asked me to send. That being said I couldn't even send my payment. I then went to sell my Bitcoin and they charged me another $7 then went to put it back in my bank account and they charged another $7 so I got charged $21 for a transaction that I couldn't make..

I placed an online order on April 6th, the money was deducted from my account, on May 15th they deducted the same amount a second time. When I contacted support I was told that they had technical issues between March 20th - April 20th and the money was never deducted. I doubled checked my activity and I came out with 2 deductions of the amount in question. I was hung up on by support 3 times, the fourth agent suggested a dispute which I did but the dispute was done on the original transaction not the 2nd one which is the one that is the problem. They took $196.11 for themselves.

I had someone poss as a ebay customer service person a me d took 1000.00 out of my cash app account. The person that took my money had a cash app $cj2424 and they would not do a thing about it.

I have been using cash app off and on for years for different reasons apparently I have two accounts... I mistakenly sent $48 worth of bitcoin through the Cash App. I sent it to a old cash app tag name. Because I do not have the old emails or the old phone number they will not transfer the money to my New Cash App Tag name! They blame it on security reasons it's my money give it back! This cannot be the first time this has happened! I have four different advocates helping me and they all tell me the same thing because of security reasons we cannot do anything more for you Bull!

My account was HACKED by CRIMINALS that I'm convinced works for cash app! When you call the customer support number the workers are incoherent and provide no resolution to your issues. I spoke with 3 different representatives (due to their language barriers with Americans) and you are not allowed to speak with a supervisor only via email. PLEASE SAVE yourself some time and avoid this app‼‼I was robbed for my money by CASH APP and will be reporting this to the better business bureau.

Account was locked. Customer support is robotic and not at all helpful. After several days any many attempts to resolve the situation with no results, i deleted all the personal info i could on the app and uninstalled. Since the account is locked, i cant even deactivate it.

I had someone commit fraud on my cash app account, and they stole $1,000 out of my bank account. Then cash app's customer service representative told me that fraud happens often, and there is nothing they could do about it. The rep went on to tell me it's so normal that they have made it ok to do. I will never use them again. I highly recommend to stay away from them if you can't afford to have money stolen from you.

Totally a communist party application. Nothing but a cash extraction application. Cash extraction application that caters extremely well to fraud and scammers. Cash app does not adhere to what they state. They do not, and will not back you up, period, only waste more of your time.

I would give cash app a negative 10 stars if I could. All the advertised features of cash app are false. They say get your direct deposits 2 days early, but they tied my money up for 2 days. And there's hidden fees. I sent my wife $1500. It took way too long for her to get it & then she had to pay a $50 fee to get actual money. Also, I sent my cash app $2000 from my bank account by Zelle, the money was out of my account instantly. When it didn't post on cash app I contacted Zelle. They sent me confirmation of Zelle sending my money & it being received by cash app along with confirmation numbers. I finally, after hours of trying to talk to a human at cash app, started a chat with customer service. The nastiest chat I've ever experienced. Couldn't believe the way I was belittled. I gave them all the proof of the transaction, but was told there was a problem my bank needed to handle, "by the way, is there anything else I can do for you today?" I was floored.
They couldn't care less about my problem. I responded by saying I would post wonderful reviews on BBB, Google, Yelp, & any other site I could find. 2 days later Zelle got my money back for me. Zelle deserves all 5 stars. They are my heroes. Cash app should be investigated.

While Cash App. Sounds like a Good Safe deal It Isn't! Their policies of where and how your card can be used are deceiving and they have excuses for everything regarding their policies they do not disclose! They tell you that you have 3 free WITHDRAWLS from ATMs after a qualifying direct deposits of $300.00 or more, refunding up to $7.00 in fees... BUT it doesn't disclose that the availability of the free withdrawal is based on the previous months first ATM withdrawal, Not automatically after your recent deposit! The history of your account does not reflect the dates of all transactions nor all reasons for being declined, you have to call and speak to customer service. My experience with customer service both online and on the phone consist of talking in circles and not all of them knowing exactly what their policies are!
You Cannot buy USPS Money orders, Pay Loans, or take Cash Advances! They will give their Standard Responses of Let me check... Or We're working on it... As soon as I can get my money off this card... Cash App. Is History! I Do Not Recommend this to Anyone!

No response to fraudulent usage, use at your own risk! Try it yourself, you can receive and send a "cash card" to any address that isn't a po box. My bank account was hit Friday 6/3, no response to multiple attempts as of yet, 6/7. Ended up shutting it all down rather than risk waiting for a response. Worst part, Ive used the app once, more than 6 months ago. They will respond immediately to negative reviews in the playstore, just not the actual problem.

Lot of ppl has been talking how cash app allows scammers to steal from them. A month ago I got a Notification from cash app saying that $89 was taking off my account from SS card. Which of course I have my SS card and where in this word you gonna pay $89 for a SS card. I reported the case they told me to wait until the the transaction is Completed, which I did! Then they ask me to dispute the transaction and I did. Show them proof of the transaction, now they don't want to give me money. Isn't the first this has happened to me or other ppl have been complaining about cash app stealing by allowing scammers to steal from them and ppl. Y'all be careful out here, cuz ppl don't know how ppl work for their money for someone to just be stealing from them.

Customer of Cash App for about 2 years. I thought it was great until I actually needed help! I got a charge on my account from XBox, it wasn't mine so I tried contacting Cash App and there's a whole bunch of nonsense to go through! You can't just pick up the phone and call a live person. I reported the card and was told to contact Microsoft. That's a whole other deal. The charges were hitting my account daily and the customer service at both companies was non existent so I just kept no money in there and thought it was good until Cash App overdraws my account knowing this charge from X Box was fraud. This went on for about a month. I had some stock so I had to cash them out at a lose to try and close the account. The Chat is frustrating! I don't wish that torture on anyone. It feels like your talking to a robot! Siri is more helpful than any of the reps/robots I've had to chat with. I could go on and on but just take my word for it! The real bank is safer, and there's even a phone number to call and actually get customer service! After all the back and forth I got refunded only till the fraudsters charged it again the next day!

Credit karma is stupid for ever hooking up with cash app for taxes. They suck! The completely did my taxes wrong

The money will sit there for a period of time and then will be considered abandoned funds and absorbed by the company.

I miss Credit Karma's tax application. I've tried several times to download Cashapp. No success at all. I keep getting a message to request a code, none was ever sent to my email, primary or spam, etc. Waste of time and effort. I'll find another tax filing site.
