We checked to sell our car to them. They were going to give us $250. We sold it for $4000.KiaSoul13'
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I purchased a car but never took delivery. They lie, they don't care about selling a vehicle, it's nearly impossible talking to a human, very long wait time's, poor attitude, the worst customer service ever, they didn't look at documents that I uploaded at their request. Then send me emails that I have incomplete task and both time's gave me less than 4 hours to upload AGAIN or loose the vehicle so i log into my account and it shows all task complete. After spending 30 minutes on hold I'm told the documents i had previously uploaded they didn't have time to review them. The next day same thing but this time I received an email with a 3 hour window. If I didn't complete task before 6 p.m. I would have to start the purchase process over. It was after 6 p.m. before I got off work and seen the email's. Again nearly 30 minutes on the phone to speak to a rep and she tells me that she can see the documents I sent the previous day but since they didn't have time to review them and it was after the 6 p.m. cut off I had to start the purchase over. So they had the documents for nearly 24 hours but because they didn't review them I had to be inconvenienced further and start the purchase again. After that I declined to purchase the vehicle, I called and canceled the insurance policy that I had already purchased for the vehicle. If I live to be 100 I will spend every spare breath telling people what a poor excuse for a company Carvana actually is. I'm shocked they are still in business. I talked to no less than 5 different customer service reps and not one had a clue on what customer service means.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Save your time, your money, and stress and go to a regular car dealership. At least you can get jerked around in person. First of all, their "prequalification" is ridiculous. They need a million and ten documents to confirm your income. If you do not have traditional direct deposit, the process is even worse. For a car vending machine company, they do not even allow calling your employer if they do not have a land line. I guess they forgot that in 2023, most people use VOIP or cell phones. It was a waste of time and now they advised 7-10 BUSINESS days to return my money, when they were able to withdraw from my bank account within one day. Do yourself a favor, and don't even waste your time!
STAY AWAY¡!
This has been a terrible experience with them. My car broke down 2 days after purchase from Carvana. I had it towed to their prefered automotive centers and had them do a post purchase inspection. In my state the post purchase inspection isn't even required. He kicked the tires and called it good. He then installed the starter wrong and I had to take it BACK for him to look at it again. I then went to visit my dad and the car broke down AGAIN. I took it to the local dealership in another state and had them do a proper PPI. THEY FOUND 11,000 Dollars worth of repairs.
Since I'm outside of my 7 day guarantee, Silver Rock won't cover wearables even though I did what I was told and took it to their technician for a ppi. They won't make an exception and guarantee his work. They are stiffing me with a completely worn clutch, blown rotors and and pads because the front calipers are siezed, and 5 dry rotted tires while I'm stranded 1300 miles from home.
A grand total of $4000 worth of repairs are being dumped on me and all the car has done is sit in mechanics parking lots since I acquired it. I bought it 4 weeks ago.
I have made over 50 phone calls to them in attempts to reconcile this situation. Every phone call is un predictable and you never know what will happen. You have an 80% chance of stonewalling 10% chance someone will listen to you, 5% chance they will just give you wrong information. They are 100% defrauding anyone using any technicality possible.
I am a disabled veteran and I'm getting ripped off by a 6 Billion dollar company. I live paycheck to paycheck. What a joke
Screw Silver rock and Carvana
Purchased a car and extended warranty from Carvana and it was a big mistake. Within 3 weeks the the breaks needed repair because they were installed incorrectly, the car had been given a fake paint job that washed off in places so. Ow there's spots with no paint, the molding fell off because it was glued down instead of bolted so now the car leaks, and tires were 6 years old and had dry rot and the tread is of course all the way worn down. Carvana has done nothing and the extended warranty denied coverage (of course). The customer service at carvana has been absolutely horrible, all they do is blame the customer and deny responsibility. Awful experience all the way around. Buyer beware. This place is a scam.
I recently needed to purchase a new car after my other car was totalled in an accident.
After looking at several options, i decided to give Carvana my business. After finding a car I loved, I patiently waited for the car to be delivered.
My wife and I took the day off to receive the shipment, only to get a call (the same morning is was to be delivered) to say it was delayed due to "logistics ". I was disappointed, and a bit upset, but agreed to wait another week.
The week rolled by, to have yet another call repeating the claims of the first call. Now, i was angered. Waiting 2 and a half weeks, and needing a car- it was rescheduled for another week out.
When i tried to get an associate online to assist, i got an automated robot text instead. After asking for assistance with this impersonal machine, and not getting the information I needed, I canceled the order.
I will NEVER use this company again, nor recommend anyone use it. They are not reliable, not customer friendly, and deliver nothing but disappointed.
Buyers, please be aware that you may get a run around with empty promises.
The only problem we had was waiting 3 weeks for delivery. The young woman who dropped the car off was awesome. She came from Dalango New Jersey. Very helpful outstanding customer service from her.
I got an offer online to sell my car to carvana the next day I went to drop off my car they declind the offer and offerd me a lower price I didn't argue I came back 2 days later to pick up my check they declined the offer again, what a scam after waisting 2 days of work I ended up tacking back my car. Will not recomand them.
One of the most magical days of my life was buying my car with carvana!, I got it out of the vending machine! It was so much fun! Customer service.Omg! Excellent! Everyone there is so cool! I mean really! However, if you decide to sell your recently purchased vehicle through them, by them, be prepared to not only loose money, but have your pockets turned inside out. So I would advise buy from them, do not sell to them, and you will be a happier person
I "ordered" my car in February, 2023. The delivery date was supposed to be February 28th. It was rescheduled to March 3rd, then March 6th. Then March 8th@ 12 noon, then March 8th@ 10:00 am (without consulting me). I got a ride to the designated location to pick up my car to be told that they were "running a little behind". Two hours later I was informed that the title was never signed off by the previous owner. They were kind enough to spring for an Uber home, however I was promised a call at some point today. I never heard so I reached out several times and no one answered. I called the main customer service number, and they showed no record of the events. At this point I am afraid I have made a grave mistake in purchasing a car through Carvana.
Purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima it had 35,000 miles. Then less than a year I need engine because camshaft stuck. I feel they change odometer readings because this should not be an issue with low miles. I had an animal living in my car before I purchased it that chewed battery cables. Something fishy about Carvana.
By far the worst experience. Had multiple issues starting on the 1st day. When we tried to purchase, 2nd sales rep on the phone tried to raise our price from previous sales rep. Then, pick up the Yukon XL was disgusting interior and we called immediately- also damage. Needed oil change immediately. After a couple days, check engine lights, window plastic panels falling off, and now the 1st day we needed the AC, it doesn't work. They send 100 dollar checks to shut you up and it doesn't even cover the costs of anything. I am currently waiting on a response. Now a safety issue...I will be pursuing a refund if doesn't go the way it should. Picture of the hole is provided but how it was received and not pictured or described...just an example. Not happy!
I tried to buy a car. I really did. Had it scheduled twice but they kept moving the delivery date back so I cancelled my order. Never again.
Fell in love with a car online. Had my trade-in. With the 150 point inspection seems okay, right? The day I drove the Carvana car received low air pressure error. Filled the two and drove but error message wouldn't come off. Went to Carvana's referred garage. They lifted it to check for leaks. Found the whole half of the frame rusted out, plugged tire and sensor messed up. Their garage said to send it back. Within 7 day return, so returned it. Got my trade-in back. The inspection station in N.J. Threw away my wheel lock key. It was left in the glove compartment when I had them pick it up, and was in a bag labeled wheel lock key. Customer service said they'd reimburse me when I paid to replace the wheel locks. Replaced and receipts sent. Reimbursement was sent to somewhere in Delaware. I live in Connecticut. Was a nightmare. Terrible.
Worst customer service. Would not let us just pick up car. Could not deliver at a convenient time. Restructured the contract after the deal was made and wanted money up front. Not helpful at all
First impression wasn't great. When the carvana truck arrived with my new car, the associate crashed it into my neighbors car while unloading it while I literally watched in what felt like slow motion. We didn't see any body damage to either vehicles so I signed for the car and took it directly to my mechanic to check it out. Many issues were found. The tires on a 4WD were all mismatched and there was no maintenance record of when they were added so while the tread was fine, we couldn't rule out dry rot. The steering wheel was off center and pulled to the right and the front tire roters were rusted and needed to be fully replaced. In addition, I found a crack in the windshield that wasn't noted anywhere, the car wasn't clean/detailed and it arrived with less than a quarter tank of gas and a nasty AC and oil filter. Just…basic things that any inspection would've found.
Carvana touts a rigorous 150 point inspection, so that's obviously crap, their delivery people are not trained well (he's been over an hour late for delivery and 2 return windows) and generally don't really give a crap on the conditions their cars arrive in. Instead of fighting with their claims team to try to get the repairs made, I decided to return the car. I have zero reason to trust that Carvana would care enough about me as a customer or my experience to help me with repairs, and have first hand knowledge from other Carvana buyers that they do everything they can to not pay for repairs to the vehicles they sell.
It's clear to me the "old" carvana is dead and this company is going down the drain. If you're on the fence, just don't risk it. If it sounds easy and convenient, it's probably too good to be true.
These people will not "drive you happy" more like extremely disappointed.
Not only did they lie about the cars specs. They sold me a car with damages and mechanical issues that were not depicted in the cars profile online. Then tried to cover it up by not taking responsibility. Then placing it on their insurance- co company silver rock. Who my I just add also sucks to deal with.
Overall if you're trying to get trapped into a 40k plus loan agreement for a car that is not what they claim it to be. Then Carvana is the place for you.
Purchasing process was smooth. However, the odometer did not agree with the title prior to purchase; the mileage was off by over 1000 miles. While it didn't affect the car's drive train performance - it was a 2021 Toyota Sienna - I find this to be misleading at best and a bait and switch at worst. It prevented me from purchasing the car for over 3 weeks. When this was brought to my attention, Carvana promised me gift cards for the inconvenience, but they never delivered. They were unresponsive on email and phone calls. Frustrating to say the least.
I purchased a 2017 Toyota Camry from Carvana in Jan of 2023. It was advertised as free shipping. When I was going over the contract I discovered I was charged for the $190 shipping fee and a $190 delivery fee. I went online to resolve the situation and had proof of the advertised free shipping ( printed out copy of the screen shot of the advertisment showing the free shipping) even after sending them a copy of the proof they refused to refund the false charges. As we were talking I brought up the ad on my computer. During the time I was online with them (75 mins) they altered the ad to add on shipping fees. Then they deleted it entirely.
I believe they committed False Advertising and Fraud, both are crimes here in Wisconsin. Still I was refused a refund of the false charges.
Along with this I found 2 other cases where they misrepresented verbally clauses that were in the final contract. The second $190 charge for delivery is optional, but no one will inform you of this. I would have picked up my car had I was aware of this. The depot for Carvana is only 3.8 miles from my home.
Do not deal with Carvana.
Carvana is the absolute worse car dealership out there. Their customer service is a disaster and they have not only not help me but made me very upset with their insults and lack of care. This company deserves to go bankrupt and go out of business for good do not ever ever attempt to buy a car from this company. You will regret it greatly. They do not care about you and all they see in you is a $ sign!
Answer: "Customer Service"? There is no customer service. It's just email runaround and they sell the car out from under you without even telling you. And... they keep your deposit. It's more like customer DIS-service
Answer: Don't buy from them. The are just like used car salespeople. No difference! Rip-off!
Answer: I had the most amazing time buying a car through Carvana; I got a loan quikly, got my car in a couple weeks and the car is an awesome car; its all registered for me and I just got it inspected, passed no problem. My car only had 42,000 miles on it and rarley was driven. YES get a car from Carvana they are so great! My payments are super low too.
