Carvana is a joke. Don't waste your time. They made me an offer. When the woman got here to pick up the vehicle she was incapable of driving the vehicle on her lift, blamed it on the car and wouldn't take it. Customer service was no help at all.
I tried to sell my Tesla Model 3 to Carvana. They are absolutely NOT prepared to handle the Tesla approach ie all electronic. They asked for a build-sheet. That does not exist for Tesla. They asked to provide a screen shot of the "touch screen console". Tesla has about 25 different screens. Over the period of 5 days I provided about 10 different screen shots. Finally the associate told me that all docs are ready. I provided my payment selection, then on to pick up online. Result: Sorry no pick up available for your area. I called back: Associate gives me a Carvana Vending machine (zip code *******) as drop off location. But I cannot select it online because the location is permanently Closed. Call back again. They check for 10 min. Get back to me and told me: There is nothing we can do. I ask to talk to a manager explain to him that we move out of the country the next day. The only thing he could offer is a pick up which however is too late for us. I went to CarMax, yes they offer $2.5k less then Carvana, but it took a total of less than 1 hour to get the care appraised and sales completed!
Carvana has its processes wrong. Its all serial. "Advocates" on the phone line do not have the training to deal with obstacles or more complex cases. Everything has to be "escalated" which typically takes 4-6 hrs. And they do not call back, they drop an email. So the customer has to watch his email. Why do I need to select a payment method BEFORE I know that my car can be picked up? Why not checking the zip code and let customers know that it may take longer to pick up the car? Why not offering a reservation of a spot? Why not providing a online map with all the ACTIVE drop off locations? I am open to talk to a Carvana Manager about my experience, but as it stands right now, I CANNOT recommend selling a Tesla to Carvana to anybody.
Obviously a purchase did not happen because of the issues. You should make sure your algo does not filter out this kind of reviews.
Their process of purchasing is easy but hope that you don't have a problem with the vehicle because the next steps are very difficult to maneuver and they like to hide behind the computer and pass the buck to anyone else to anyone else and therefore the items do not get complete. Yes you can take advantage of the 7 day return policy however if you go over 400 miles they will charge you a dollar per mileAnd all that time in mileage is added on going back-and-forth to service dealers getting the problem fixed
This whole experience from carvana worth of more than a joke and a waste of my time first. After spending time looking through their cars which by the way are decade-old car going back from 2013-2000 decades-old and you would think seeing their cars on their inventories would be easy for you to purchase them nope guess again they need to get off their high horse or old cars with high mileage and plenty of wear and tear and still can't get approved might as well go to buy here pay here and get the exact same cars with higher mileage, wear and tear, no high-end features poorly gas mileage. And when it came time to purchase a car with zero down options with reasonable monthly payments that you would like and can do. And that all goes away after you do your pre-qualification application that's all based on your credit and what's even more maddening and pathetic it's all non negotiable from carvana. I was so not impressed with this online carvana thing could be different and easier to purchase the car online it was nothing more than a disappointment. I can alnow see why coronavirus facing
A bunch of issues and legal problems. At the end of the day its nothing more than going to an Old-Fashioned
Car dealer lot and have to put a whole bunch of money down.
Would not recommend this to anybody not friends or family at all.
Would not even give this a f*** single star
I purchased a car from Carvana 4 days ago they told me that I will be able to swap the car or moneyback guarantee within seven days when I want to swap the car because I quite did not like the car that I had it was dirty when They dropped it off it needs brakes they informed me that they Wanted tax forms from me Somethings they never asked me from the very beginning I was already approved for the car I had the car for four days try to swap the car out and this is when they asked for additional information something that I've already gave them all of the information that they needed they told me there was nothing that they can do this was the most horrible car buying experience I have ever been through I would rather sit in a car dealership for two days before ever buying a car from them again These people are liars and I'm looking to sue them please be careful when buying a car from the get the car that you think you want because if not they will not honor of their swap policy
Car delivery delayed 5 times. Minimal help. Terrible management. Would never buy another vehicle from them.
The day my car was delivered, which was only 6 days ago, I went to take it for a drive and the AC was blowing hot air for 45 minutes. Now mind you, I live in Texas and the car came from Texas. How do you complete a 150-point inspection and not noticed that the air conditioning doesn't work? Not only did the air conditioning not work, but the cooled seats did not work. I insisted that a mechanic come to my place of business and fix my car ASAP. He came the next day and refilled the non-existent freon and recharged my AC. While doing that, he noticed that the air filter was completely clogged with debris. Now once again I ask, how can this happen if the car has went through a 150 point inspection. I would bet my life that the car was never even checked for "anything." It probably never even had an oil change. Today, I came home from work and go to fold my mirrors in and the passenger side mirror only folds partially and then starts clicking. It doesnt stop clicking even with the ignition turned off. I go outside to hear where the clicking is coming from and the mirror is completely facing away from the car. Yet again, another thing wrong with the vehicle that was not checked. Upon looking at the 150 point inspection checklist again, I see that the interior and exterior of the vehicle was supposed to have been premium detailed, and the car came to me completely filthy. The most they did is vacuum the floors. The checklist also stated that floor mats were included, but do you think there are any floor mats in the car? No. All I got every time I called carvana was "I'm sorry." Well I'm sorry carvana, but I'm sorry does not cut it. Carvana is deceitful and dishonest and does not deliver anything that they say they will deliver. Do yourself a favor and don't ever buy a car from carvana. You will be completely dissatisfied promise you
I worked there almost 3 years. The Do sell wreck cars they just fix the damage they half $#*! fix stuff they drill holes in the wrong places they look over poorly done work and cars with safety issues just to hit a number. I worked in the body shop so I seen the worse if it. Rusty roaches ants water damages they would clean it up hide it fix it just enough so it wasn't noticeable and send it. These where approved by manegers too. Now that I work at a real collision center I under and danger it what was going on. Just be careful what you are buying bc I wouldn't ever buy a car from there.
Submitted my car to sell to them. Put every little detail in, they gave offer, I accepted.
When they showed up (late,) acted as if they didn't know about some of the details, said I needed to fix them, and resubmit!
When I called them to complain, the lady said, "Yes, the details were in there but a computer handles submissions and makes offers. Humans do not read them prior.?
What is the purpose of adding details then?
Just a complete waste of time!
You'll notice as soon as you say your interested they say hurry it's ready for several others. The owners have been previously sanctioned and are under investigation by numerous states.
These guys are obvious. I was going to purchase a car with them and went through all the paperwork. It was then I looked them up and saw all the lawsuits regarding titles and registration. So I called Carvana to at least be able to see a Title. They told me it "Wasn't possible". So I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that one would call me within a day or two. Nope. They cancelled my reservation! If that wasn't an obvious attempt to defraud, I don't know what is. Now I receive a notice from them that they won't finance me because they say my credit score is too low. 1) the score they show is 100 points lower than my actual. 2) It was a vindictive slap.
Now I'm turning it all over to the Florida Attorney General with hopes it only adds to that which has already been filed
I can't say enough about Carvana. I received the price I was looking for. They picked it up on time and the paper work was easy. The driver was kind and courteous. They picked it up on Saturday and the payment was direct deposited on Monday morning.
My son purchased a vehicle through carvana and it's been nothing but problems. First off it took months to receive the proper registration and the vehicle has been to the repair shop numerous times and is there again now. Their silverrock warranty is terrible and even though the service department states it should be covered they are denying coverage. I've contacted bbb and filed complaints on both carvana and silverrock and will be contacting my local attorney general's office as well. These companies are terrible and they do not care about their hardworking customers
Purchased a 2010 INFINITI G G37x Sedan 4D in September of 2020. I have dumped more money into this car for maintenance than it's worth and I haven't even had it for 2 years. Very disappointed with this experience. Sales team was however great in working with me to find what I needed. Just a shame that they would allow a lemon to be sold. Would like to give 0 stars but unfortunately I have to select a rating so 1 star it is. I will never recommend or purchase through this company ever again. Thanks for nothing Carvana
We went through the steps to purchase a car through their site. They insisted before they could deliver the car that we provide proof of insurance, which we did. So we had the car insured before it was delivered. On the day before it was suppossed to be delivered they called to say it would be another month before it was delivered and did not give a reason. I could not get a live representative and finally got someone to text me that there was a "title issue" but could not elaborate. You would think they had the title to a car they posted for sale. They cannot even guarantee that the car is definitely still able to be purchased. So now we have insurance on a car we do not have and they cannot guarantee will ever be delivered. Their customer service is awful!
My order was "Out of Market Delivery" because we live in Wyoming. I understood it would take a little longer but Carvana has had full payment from us for 45 days now and still has not confirmed a delivery date. Every interaction has been disappointing. Promises that I would be called back and then I would never hear from the representative again. They couldn't tell me a reason as to why it took so long for my vehicle to get to the inspection location or why it took so long for it to be inspected or why they are not making every effort to get our vehicle delivered. I have been working with a manager since May 13,2022 (the money came out of our account on April 18,2022) and it is now June 1,2022 and I still don't have a delivery date. They conveniently won't review whether to increase the third party bid until friday (the day before the weekend). I am so over their service and inability to make things right. Choose to do your best and work hard for your customer. I won't cancel my order, one because there is a car shortage and I have been searching for the right minivan for over a year and two, that would be what Carvana would want so as not to hassle with me being out of the area.
Placing an order was very easy. I sold my car and borrowed a friends car for the 5 days until the delivery date. That's when the issues started. I took time off work, drove all over town to meet their deadlines. The delivery date then gets pushed out again and again. Looking for answers? Contact their chat and call a representative only to get bombarded with conflicting information and anyone you talk to will give you a different answer. I ordered a truck and got as far as the delivery date. Thankfully the tow truck driver was kind enough to realize that the entire bottom and engine was severely rusted- 150 point inspection…yea right! This was not disclosed earlier and was purposely left out of the pictures. The cancellation process was seamless. A very disappointing and frustrating experience. Now I'm left without a car and have to look for a rental. Very very bad company.
Got a 15 escalde from Carvana. It is complete garbage from day 1. Suspension, noises, and now months later still waiting for them to remove a credit inquiry that was not authorized. I went thru a credit union so they were not suppose to run my credit. 6 months later and its still has noise and rides like crap. Oh and you guessed right, inquiry still was never removed. Beware and stay far away.
I worked for about 10 days trying to meet all tasks required to complete my purchase. They asked for the same info over and over and over and over again. Never completely communicated what they needed. I jumped through hoops yet they stil required sums stuff ignoring the big important stuff. Showed no common sense, couldn't work outside their provided script. Do not make customer first decisions only Carvana first decisions. Needed to deal with a new "advocate" each time with each one giving a different story and unable to make any decisions. Stupid process and not something that should be allowed. Stay away
I may sell my car to Carvana but learned today ( it is not in the details: how does it work) that when they pick up my car that they will test drive it off my property. I asked for liability coverage in writing to determine if they accept liability when they drive it & am awaiting that information. There is NO way I will agree to let them drive my car if I am liable. That is unacceptable if that is the case. I asked the representative on the phone to request that part to be added online so that sellers are fully informed.
Answer: "Customer Service"? There is no customer service. It's just email runaround and they sell the car out from under you without even telling you. And... they keep your deposit. It's more like customer DIS-service
Answer: Don't buy from them. The are just like used car salespeople. No difference! Rip-off!
Answer: I had the most amazing time buying a car through Carvana; I got a loan quikly, got my car in a couple weeks and the car is an awesome car; its all registered for me and I just got it inspected, passed no problem. My car only had 42,000 miles on it and rarley was driven. YES get a car from Carvana they are so great! My payments are super low too.
