I expected a free service and found the upgrade needed to actually see providers deceptive. Then the added cost of background checks. I would prefer to have just known what it costs up front!

I had to create an entirely new account because I had an issue adding a credit card after moving. Since I my premium account had expired, I was unable to get a live person on the phone to address my issue and the FAQs did not fix my issue. After an hour of trying to figure out what was wrong, I opened an entirely new account

I just shelled out over $100 for a membership and then you're telling me I have to pay $240 a year for background checks you're lucky I don't cancel my membership right now

This company is a scam. The fact that they are called care.com is so ridicoulos, as the last thing they do is actually care. They will sell you a subscription for one month for a higher price, but they will leave you subscribed. So if you try to cancel your subscription before your month is up, it will cancel the month you just paid for. And if you forgot to cancel it right at the end, well, to bad for you. They will keep billing you the higher rate. So since I knew this, i asked them to cancel my subscription without cancelling my paid month. 3 times I emailed them. No replay. The emails all went through. Then I forgot about it, as busy moms normally do and as care.com knows will happen. Of course, they kept billing. Asked for a refund once I discovered this. Sent my emails requesting this. Forget about it. They are a bunch of money hungry soul less ppl. Somebody should really come up with a competing company and just make the decision to be honest and kind and care about their customers and then perhaps care.com will finally go off and die. This is the last type of service that needs to be so careless and greedy. So so greedy.

The checkout was a little misleading. It prompted me to add on the Combine Check Package after I had submitted my order for my premium membership, and I added it thinking it would bring me to a verify page of some sort, but just added on an extra $200+ to my charge, that I was told can only be refunded after the renewal date...ONE YEAR FROM NOW! What?
