I don't like this business model of requiring a subscription to find a person to help me. I was not sure if there would be any one to hire after I paid the subscription. An easy google search found several complaints about Care.com being a scam. I would rather be able to read more about potential hires and see if I could actually find someone before signing up for a subscription.

The website is incredibly glitchy. Sometimes I click buttons and they don't actually change pages or the pop-ups won't appear. It has also refreshed randomly while I'm in the middle of typing a message.

I tried this, got nowhere, and a year later they charged me for a full year nonrefundable subscription - $131. Thank god I was only looking for house cleaning and not childcare. All the people who I contacted no showed or didn't respond. Useless service

I was investigating the website. A friend said it was $10.00 to join. Then I saw I would be charged over $100 for this. I did not finish the application and DID NOT give permission for you to charge my account.
