I dont think i should have to pay 40 to see who messaged me. I dont like that when Im trying to hire someone I cant put overnight hours it stops or starts at midnight. The wording on your subscription plan is vague about background checks so I had to purchase it beacuse I dont know if you automatically run the checks or if i have to pay to do that.

As a previous provider with Care.com when the company first started over a decade ago I can say that now as a parent the costs are outrageous. Add on costs for features that should be included are ridiculous. Childcare is slim enough without grasping for every penny parents have. The website itself is still easy to use and helpful, but the price gouging is another example of corporate greed running wild, especially on people who really need services for their children.

Wanted to change payment method but your site took card info before I completed the registration. Very very hard to change and no one to contact to talk to. Does this mean I'll only be able to text caregivers and not talk to them before we meet them? Not on any social media sites nor will we be. Is that a problem?

More flexibility in posting details of my job opening would make things easier. It feels like I have to check one main box: housekeeping, etc., even if the job I'm posting covers more than just housekeeping. Also, after posting the details of my job, the text was edited (not by me). When I attempted to change it back, I'm getting error messages and now have to try again to change the text to read correctly.

HORRIBLE
July 20, 2022

Can't leave review on families, families will fire you the day before you're supposed to go into work for no reason, and care.com support doesn't help I've emailed them 10 times with no response. I've been in homes that had me fearing for my safety but it's all about the babysitters background check and history… families are defaming my name because they don't want to pay right it's a horrible experience this is the third time I've been fired without notice for no given reason. Now I am without a job and been left a bad biased review on my care page. Nannies BE WARE

I requested help and never got a response, so I wasted $26 updating an old account only to find out I couldn't change that from seeking work to seeking a caregiver. I created a new account and spend another $80 only to find that none of the 6 applicants to my ad are available during overnight hours, which I specified in the ad. So far, not finding much care at care.com.
