I put in my info for mt Electronic GC and was told i needed to send in a physical GC. I DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL CARD! Within 24 hours CardCash zeroed my E card and never paid me. The site says pending,, Awaiting card. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL CARD! I am a disabled military veteran on a fixed income. This was supposed to feed my service dog! So now he gets my one meal a day. Left 5 emails in 72 hours, no response. Their 1800 number never picks up and gives 9-5 but no time zone.
Because it's a Whole Foods card, cannot transfer online, so I had to mail it in; however, the process was very quick to receive payment (I selected the payment to be the sale amount on an Amazon Gift Card). The only delay with the process was mailing the Whole Foods card to them.
I've used CC only twice, and this will certainly be the last time I buy with them. Both times I have found the cards to contain insufficient funds which I am not responsible for. The first card I didn't even use and it already had a $0 balance. The latter I used once, forgot about it, and saw it had less than a dollar left. Although I can't say I'm surprised with how the business operates. They sell PREVIOUSLY OWNED cards. What's stopping the original owner from recording the card number before selling, and still using said card after the transaction is completed? Easily dupable system. Will never resort to CC again, and will much rather use Swagbucks since they at least reward users with fresh cards despite the effort it takes to earn one...
I have been waiting over two months to get my money for cards that I sent in. Everytime I call they make excuses
Sent in a $15 Apple gift card and it only took a few days for it to get all the way across the country, processed, and paid! It was super easy and now my son has cash instead of a gift card he can't use. Will definitely use again in the future.
I sent in my gift cards 11 days ago and it's still says they haven't arrived yet. I've called several times and haven't been able to get any help.
Sold (traded for amazon, actually) a couple of gift cards I'd been sitting on, only had to wait a few days for confirmation/verification. Would use again.
Bought a guitar center gift card for $250 and it didn't have any money in it and card cash won't give me the money back. $250! Do not buy cards from here!
Never use this co, they promised 34.00 o a 40.00 gift card, and never gave me the deposit! So disappointing, it's a scam.
I sold one e-giftcard on CardCash and was paid appropriately within about a week. In fact, they have some of the best rates for sellers among similar sites. However, I have not been able to sell any additional gift cards because I can't pass CardCash's phone verification system. I am given a list of phone numbers to choose from, but none of them are mine. I appreciate their enhanced security, but there is no way for me to get around this and continue using the service.
Awful website. A lot of these reviews are completely fake. Don't trust them. I came on the site to sell my $25 iTunes gift card. They offered my $16.50 for it which is already a low ball. I decided to sell them it anyways. They then charged me $1.00 from my bank card for a "verification fee". After charging me, they told me they could not accept my gift card because it is a digital code rather than a physical card. I will be taking legal action.
Have used this site a few times - they are always quick and thorough - I appreciate the extra security involved in verifying e-gift cards.
Great way to convert unwanted cards into something you can use. Only draw back is that you have to mail them the physical card(s). Process takes too long.
I sold an old gift card and was paid quickly! I received a sale price that was pretty reasonable as well.
Similar experience to many folks on here, had a large Remaining balance of my Stolen/used after my first use of card, I used ~$100 of a $600 card, balance was immediately used\transferred after my first purchase, which I discovered when I tried to use the remaining balance. Company did not assist or provide any resolution. I find it odd that so many people have the same experience, doesn't seem coincidental, stay away from this company.
Overall it was an easy, quick experience. Better than any other website I've used for trading in gift cards for cash. They pay out the most along with the fastest.
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
