Stay away from Cardcash unless your are sure you are going to use the whole amount on the card within 45 days. They hide behind the 45 day guarantee and will not budge when they have sold you a bad card. I purchased a $100 gift card, used it once for $28. The next time I tried to use it I was told it was no good. I am out $60 which they could care less about. Upon notifying Cardcash they refused to do anything since it was past the 45 days. They would not even investigate as to why the card was no good. You can only talk to their underlings on the phone and the higher ups will not even return a call. They send you an "I'm sorry email" and tell you to read their 45 day guarantee. I will never buy another card from them.
Super fast delivery, simple process. Stock could be better sometimes, and myabe have the option of getting notified when a card is back in stock.
Used my initial $5 registration bonus and got $15 Subway gift card for $8!
I ordered a Nordstrom gift card and gave it as a Christmas gift to my son-when he went to use it- it came back "non-usable". Card cash only has a 90 day use period.
Customer service did not seem to care about restoring the "gift card" and presented their side as if it was my problem. I was told it's not really a gift card to be held for use at the receiver's discretion. I was amazed at their response- I thought they were in the gift card business.
I have bought from this company over a dozen times in the last year or so. And out of that dozen times, I'd say about 10 of them I had at least one if not all cards that I bought not work. So then I would have to take a picture of what it said when it didn't work, to prove that it was a faulty card, then email them about it, & usually they couldn't just send a new code or card that worked, but would refund me & have to do the whole process again of trying to buy the card(s) I wanted. And in some cases only to have them still not work. Do yourself a favor and use any other card service.
I've purchased several cards and all the transactions have gone well.
This is helping me shop and enjoy meals while staying on a budget
Card cash was very prompt and kept in touch as delivery date via email.
Balance on many cards can be checked at merchants' websites.
Panera Bread is a particularly good merchant site that gives detailed history of cards, even for cards with zero balance.
Couple of Panera cards sold by CardCash don't return anything when submitted on merchant sites. CardCash apparently didn't check at all.
Because it's passed 45 days, they didn't reimburse me. Well, it's past 45 days as I was sick. And, shouldn't they have checked before selling? Don't they have some responsibility?
I have not had any problems with MY cashcards, but my daughter has. She purchased a Home Depot card that had no value on it. So every time I buy a card I worry does this card have value. I try to get to the merchant as soon as possible, but sometimes I cannot get there fast enough. I would purchase a lot more if I was sure that they had their purchase value on them. I understand that there is a 45 day refund policy, but sometimes I do not use the card that quickly. There should be some way that cashcard verifies the value before it's mailed out to the recipient.
Thank you for listening to my concerns.
Cardcash's model has been duplicated, but they have consistently made it as simple as anyone to buy and sell cards, print off digital codes in some cases, and reverse charges for some physical cards and codes that didn't work.
I'm sure there are a lot of members who demand 100% success on purchased cards. The fact that I've only had one failure and that the complaint (or service request) was handled quickly is so much more important to my image of Cardcash.
They've also found a way to make the weekly sales emails minimal enough that it doesn't bother me to continue to receive them and dedicate five seconds a week for their message to be in front of my eyes. They're meant to be urgent flash sales, but it's building more long-term brand awareness and keeping CC in mind when I'm looking for a deal.
I have been using CardCash for several years and have very good experience with their cards arriving with the correct balances. The few times where gift cards have been cancelled by the issuer as being fraudulent, CardCash has always processed a quick refund to me.
Easy site to use. Found the card that I needed and was done quickly.
Always great customer service & love all the money I save.
Too many of the gift cards and e-cards, I have purchased from you turn out to be invalid. Some as soon as I receive them and some when I go to use them, be it 1 week or 4 months. I find that with your competitor I have never had a card be deemed in- valid - account closed or other wise useless.
Had a problem with one set of cards not showing up. They listened, and fixed it.
Need to hit the spa and running low on cash? Need a last minute gift? Love card cash for this, especially when you can print the cards almost immediately after purchasing. Slap a bow on it and call it a day!
I am happy that I found a place that I can purchase and get it online really quick and accurate.
I purchased two $50 Starbucks cards a few days apart and neither one worked. Still waiting for a credit to my credit card. I have had other bad Starbucks cards. CardCash service is pretty good at fixing the issue, but is embarrassing to go to Starbucks and have the card not work
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
