I have never written a negative review on any product, and I am not intending this review be as such; just the facts:
1. Purchased an Ultimate Shield Car Cover for a Saturn Sky. Delivery was prompt.
2. The covers surface material disintegrated at or about one year of age. (Location: Southern Calif, little rain, no snow, mild temps)
3. The surface material disintegrates in hundreds of thousands of flakes and creates a literal dust storm when putting the cover on or off. So much so that I feel it is necessary to wear a dust mask to protect my lungs, when handling the car cover. The flakes also cover the black car with such high density that the flakes need to be removed before driving. The flakes also get on my adjacent car and must be removed.
4. As more and more flakes come off, the cover material gets thinner and thinner and begins to rip apart.
4. The cover was replaced under the warranty and the second cover demonstrated the exact same
Disintegration within one year. It seems that two out of two disintegrations is not a coincidence.
5. On a positive note: The seams are strong and good. Initially, the cover shaded the car rather well, provided good rain protection, and fit well.

I purchased a car over for my 2020 Kawasaki KRX 1000 side by side. Sadly I did not open it when received for a test fit. When I actually needed use it, more than 30 days after purchase, I opened it and proceeded to put it on. After some frustration I had it covering my ride but could not get it to line up correctly. It appears to be for a different model as the sewn in pockets do not line up with anything on the car and the buckles for the securing straps are located where my tires are rendering them useless. It does cover the car, just does not fit and well, looks like it does not fit. Carcovers.com confirmed it is the best fitting semi custom cover the make for my ride. I am unable to return it due to exceeding the 30 day policy they have. They were gracious enough to give me a 10% refund. Please not the quality of the cover is good, the fit is bad. Tremendously disappointed and will not purchase again. Not gauranteed to fit as claimed after 30 days from purchase.
