Too bad a required "one-star" minimum for these jokers. Upped the interest while we lack jobs in the pandemic.

What's in their wallet? Not just one wallet... they have filled up boxes and cargo sheds up with the cash from so many who have lost jobs.
These clowns think the pandemic is a scam.
Well, Capital One is the scam.

Reliable Service

Reliable customer service. Index funds and altcoin stocks are also set to gain as the crypto markets keep reaching new highs. Meanwhile MintonBlock offers a new and innovative bitcoin 401k investment plan and digital assets investment fund with reasonable quarterly and monthly returns respectively. Will definitely recommend. Thank me later.

Horrible Customer Service

I will never open up a Capital One Credit Card again. I called the customer service number to help with an interest charge on my statement and the representative refused to reverse the charge. I have been a Capital One customer for over three years and you best believe I will never use them for any service again. We are in the middle of a global pandemic where most companies are graciously offering to help customers in anyway possible. I am completely shocked at the way I was mistreated on the phone. The representative also said your feedback will not be heard. I hope someone from Capital one reviews this feedback. This should be unacceptable during a time like this.

Terrible customer service
September 11, 2020

The executive offices have to be the worst hands down with customer service. They will respond to a complaint but not give their information so you can't reply. They refuse to admit when they mess up! They stated in a letter "In your submission, you stated that you reached out to Capital One numerous times without resolution. In your review if our call records, we were unable to find any calls as you stated in BBB" I replied asking how that is possible and happens since I spoke to Whitney at *******455 extension 291-7035 and dates and times and voicemail left like 9/25/19 at 12:26pm and left a voicemail again 10/20/2019 at 4:15pm. So it wasn't logged? Why not? And they replied with this vague response saying they already replied to this and agree with their reply none the less. Didn't address my questions or answe how it was possible it wasn't logged and never admitted they were wrong or apologized. Incompetent customer service especially higher up!

They issue me a credit card and then put 5 day holds on my payments which effectively renders the card useless half the time because I can't charge anything even though I have a zero balance! And I can't get anyone on the phone to fix the situation. I'm going to switch to a new financial institution in the very near future that's run more professionally.

I have a been a customer for over 10 years, so I think I can really evaluate them in terms of their growth. Years ago, they had terrible customer service, but I've seen a lot of progress since then. Maybe it was all of the bad reviews and complaints? Whatever the reason, they've become quite responsive. Their website works and is user friendly. Plus, they have a Credit Wise feature which allows you to check your FICO and credit report for free! I think their charge dispute process still needs improvement, but overall, I'm satisfied.

I had over $18.00 rewards on my Capital One credit card. I was told by customer service that I could not get my rewards until my credit card balance was paid in full. When I fully paid my balance 2 weeks ago my account automatically closed. I called customer service and I requested that my rewards go into my bank account. I was told that since my account is now classified as " closed " I am now no longer entitled to my rewards. This is a scam bank with phony "rewards ". They LIED to the Better Business Bureau by stating that they have " no record of any calls " that I made to them about these rewards.

Major security breach announced in August 2019. Actually occurred early 2019. Offered to provide free worthless bottom of the line Transunion Credit Monitering System for 2 years at no charge. JOKE you call to use codes off letter sent by Capital One you get an incompetent CS person in a third world country, in this case Gutamalia, who can't setup them transfers you and disconnects. An hour and half later finally gave up. Which is exactly the intended outcome by Capital One. Shame on Capital One steer clear of Capital One!

I have been a victim of credit card fraud involving the Capital One Silver One credit card that I own. On September the 30th, thieves made online purchases on Walmart AR (I live in Oklahoma City). I was notified 2 later and immediately disputed the charges. Of the charges, $XX were effectively charged to my card and another $XX were declined due to being over the card's limit. After spending around 1h speaking to a non-native English-speaking representative ("fraud department specialist") I received several emails reassuring me that I would not be penalized, as is their contractual obligation. However, the charges were made. I had another over-one-hour call with another non-native English speaking "fraud specialist", who was not familiar with the USA legal system and encouraged me to seek law enforcement. My card statement changed in front of me, on my computer screen, as they proceeded to lie, saying everything was taken care of. Another charge was done a few days later. Another hour on the phone. After that Walmart made what looked like two credits to my account and several days later Capital one charged me with $XX as "billing adjustment". After so many charges, credits, adjustments, letters with discrepant numbers, I have no trust that my actual balance is accurate. Capital One only reacts to legal threats. Their consumer review is the worst in the scale, by thousands of customers. I took time analyzing them and Capital One actually infringed the law with several of them. Finally, they lost my card on the mail and were going to charge me for a third card. Had I not reminded them that that, too, would be illegal, to which they responded that they would not charge me anything, I am sure I would. In terms of billable hours, they owe me at least $XX. However, they have caused serious damage: I have hyperacusis. I had to be medicated because of the pain caused by the bad connection.

Opened checking, debit, credit accounts. FROM THE BEGINNING MANY ISSUES. CALL CENTER EMPLOYEES DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, TALKING ABOUT, RIGHT HAND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING. MOST RECENTLY, CYBER INCIDENT, MANY ACCOUNTS AFFECTED. PERSONNEL LIARS, SCAMMERS, THIEVES, CALL THEMSELVES BANKERS, HAVE 2 DAYS TRAINING, SNITCHES, ASKING TOO MANY QUESTIONS THAT ARE NOT RELEVANT, QUITE A SLEAZY BUSINESS, DO NOT TRUST THEM. WHEN LOOKING FOR A BANK, DO YOUR RESEARCH, FIND OUT HOW MANY LAW SUITS THEY ARE ENJOYING. THIS ONE THE WORST OF THE WORST, OTHERS NOT MUCH BETTER.

Great rewards program
August 19, 2019

I accumulated a lot of bonus points and redeemed them for gift cards on the capital one website. I was pleasantly surprised how quick they mailed them to me. It was within 1 week! Which was soo much faster than I thought. I am pleased with how fast they are. I thought credit card companies would take their dear time when it comes to mailing rewards, but not capital one. I am a happy customer and from now on will want to have more credit cards with them.

Not very happy.

I took the golden one because my gf kinda convinced me. Not very happy with them thou. I was trying to use the card abroad and it was not working even that they say on the site it is working. Called them and they fixed it but it could be delivered better.
Totally canceled this credit card after to fraudulent charges. Turns out I cannot use the credit card but hackers don't have any issues to charge my account.
After waiting 1 hour on the phone finally I am proud non owner of Captial One Credit card.

Zero customer protection

Offers zero customer protection and support. I filed a credit card disputes after receiving a defective item and they did not reverse the charge. Horrible. Will be cancelling my card.

This company I have been with now for about 5 years. I started with my credit card and now I recently on June 27 got my Auto Loan though. Capital One do pre-approvals were they see if you qualify with a soft pull and it don'e effects your credit score. Once you are pre approved then you just take what they send you and go get your car. I was shocked that they made it so stress free. On the other hand I had the issues with the dealer, not Capital One. Everything is so simple I can make my car payments and credit card payments all from one log in. It is so great and their rates were nice.

I've been a good customer to them for well over a year never late with payments always on time. I run into a financial crisis and they report my one time late for both of my cards to the credit bureau. I'll make sure that when my card(s) are paid in full I will cut them up and dare Capital One to contact me to get another one. They will not like the language they are going to hear..
