I sent in my unlocked iPhone but it had to be removed from my iCloud as well. They told me how to do so and there was no difficulty. I let them know when that was done and then they forgot about me.
Two weeks later, I sent them a message "pay me or send my phone back. " They paid what they promised.
It was a very seamless and trouble-free process to unload my iPhone XR. Just wish I could have gotten a bit more for it, but it did have a faulty charging port. In any event, it was one of the easiest transactions I've experienced online.
