Bunq mislaid a large amount of money. I'm still trying to recover it from them. I made some inbound transfers from an employee share scheme based in the US. One payment arrived into Bunq. The other, larger one, was "returned" by Bunq - but they didn't return it at all. They've acknowledged they have the payment but haven't released it to my account or back to the originating account as they have to "check with another internal team." It's been almost a month - it's tens of thousands of Euro. Their customer support service is beyond bad. Badly designed AI chatbots that chat to their "colleagues" (humans) occasionally. The support team hides behind these. Calling Bunq quickly leads to them hanging up because "sorry, I can't hear you." I wish I had searched for reviews of Bunq before using it. Some friends had used it in the past and spoke highly if it, but it feels like it's gone downhill. You're better off with Revolut or even one of the "traditional" banks. I've never had such a bad experience in many years of banking - I'm taking my complaints public and much further.

This is a serious warning:
As a witness of such a case, I found out that lots of clients lost all their savings due to actions (passive and active) of Bunq itself.
People who absolutely didn't do anything wrong get lost in a swamp of bot-created reactions (that are set up as if they are communicating with true people) that all result in exactly the same:
Freezing of bankaccounts resulting in a full delete including savings. And no one ( unless you go to court for months and months) will get a money restitution.
Please before you open a Bunq account, go and read the absurd reviews of so many Bunq clients who report all the same theft (by Bunq)

The photo (dutch) shows the result of actions taken by Bunq. The only response are bot reactions that say how important it is to secure your money... but all of it is gone! Really gone. Even the proposed procedure to follow, to reactivate this bank account only lead to an empty blocked account. This is just horrible. And no, there are no other communication lines than bots with automatic standard reactions that do not cover anything that is asked, told or issued..

I was scammed 800eur from a person from this bank. Reading the reviews from the bank which the scammer is at: Tunisstraße 19-23,******* Köln, Germany, looks like i'm not the only one. More than 15 people have been scammed by the same place. What measures are you taking about it? One person was defrauded of 6,500 euros. The government should do something to close this bank. Security and fraud prevention should be a top priority for a bank whose slogan is "bank of The Free". I am more than disappointed with the feedback and correspondence I have received from the bank in the process of identifying the fraudster and getting my money back.

Would NEVER recommend the bank to anyone.

Jokes aside, bunq is indeed on a different level. It's not like conventional banks with limited functionality and poor interest rates.
Here you can pay for whatever you want using either digital or physical card, open joint accounts or sub-accounts and enjoy rather high interest rate which is paid monthly.

I'm speechless. Besides the sneaky way they have to impose their paid plans while advertising their free plan, there is much more. These guys will surreptitiously try to reinstate accounts you canceled, and they will randomly change your iban without any notice. I lost money because of that. Avoid at all costs.

Guys, let me draw your attention to the business account that bunq offers.
I was blown away when I discovered it, the number of features it offers is a no-match for other banks.
Imagine having a business account that offers:
- Sub-accounts
- Multiple cards
- Bookkeeping.
There is no need to imagine this, cause it already exists. All of these lifesaving features are available within bunq's business account.
The bookkeeping task, which is in nature a pretty boring but necessary thing, has become much simpler for me. You can integrate your bookkeeping software with your account on bunq, and after that, the process more or less runs automatically. All you need is to monitor.
Another feature that comes in handy is the automatic export of transactions, and the app sends a statement for you to your bookkeeper. I am sure we all have been there, forgot to send a statement and search for it in your old records.

J'ai téléchargé bunq juste pour ça, j'ai recherché quelles sont les meilleures banques mobiles, et parmi toutes celles listées, j'ai choisi bunq. Et il n'y a pas eu un seul jour où j'ai regretté d'avoir pris cette décision.

Il est difficile de trouver une présentation plus juste que celle de bunq. Ils incarnent vraiment ce qu'ils annoncent. Leur niveau de flexibilité surpasse même les banques les plus avant-gardistes.

YES, bunq operates like a real bank. Initially, i thought it was just another online payment service, that offers cheaper and faster transfer of money abroad or within one country.
And I was not wrong about it, it offers all of that.
Moreover, bunq provides all the other services that you already use from your local bank, but in a more convenient and better way. Like having subaccounts, a saving account, splitting a bill, having a bank card, being able to withdraw money… I mean absolutely everything.
Well, it might be a bit pricy, but I guess the quality has a price…

I truly liked how they categorized their plants with different prices. Because some people only send and receive some money, others can use this app a lot more in-depth and need a lot of features. I got the easy green account because I explored their features and found all of them greatly useful. I am satisfied with all the advanced features I got, and my metal card!

Of course, it is difficult to imagine a bank that would be perfect in all services. But bunq is obviously close to such an ideal. Yes, this bank has some disadvantages, but they are so insignificant that I will not even write about them. I will focus my review on the positive qualities of this bank.

Bunq has everything I need to completely replace any financial services I have used before. I can say that this bank fulfills my every need. For example, it has services that help me pay my utility bills.
Payments and transfers are convenient and have quite favorable rates.As for additional services, when choosing the most advanced plan, I got a huge list of such features.

Je suis totalement satisfait de la qualité et de la quantité des services bancaires. A première vue, on peut avoir l'impression que c'est trop, mais après on se rend compte que tout est utile.

Après mon mariage, j'ai considérablement modifié mon budget personnel.
Désormais, nous avons un budget commun et nous planifions ensemble les achats et les dépenses.
Un jour, je me suis demandé si je pouvais simplifier ce partage grâce aux services de ma banque. Et il s'est avéré que oui. Aujourd'hui, bunq m'aide à répartir correctement mes revenus en me fournissant des services spéciaux.

I have been using bunq quite a while and I have managed to see a couple of changes which I rated as necessary. It was not something like designing stuff or I do not know some useless features, it was big changes. So I am seeing in what direction Bunq is going and I can say it is cool. But I still did keep my physical bank account and now I am thinking of throwing it to the rubbish. But I will be glad if I can try everything that bunq offers and then make a final decision. But I will keep you updated guys, no worries!

J'aime utiliser cette banque lorsque je voyage. Elle m'aide beaucoup lorsque je dépense à l'étranger grâce à ses différents IBAN ou à toutes les devises que je peux utiliser.
En revanche, si je peux demander de l'aide au service client, je ne le fais que pour des questions non urgentes. Ils prennent vraiment leur temps pour répondre mais le font de manière assez informative, je ne vais pas mentir.

It's a good banking option for the money I think. Meaning you get a lot of services at a modest pricing.
Of course it depends on the plan you want to get but overall it's good value for money.
The customer services I would say is the least impressive feature of the company.

I want to not just write a few positive words about this company. I would like my review to include some evidence that this bank provides excellent services to its customers.
Here are just a few services that I think make this bank a great choice:

- The ability to create a large number of digital cards. As a customer of this bank, I can create up to 25 such cards. Of course, I don't need that many. But this capability is amazing.

- I can also order a physical card. By the way, they even have metal cards.

- Modern technology such as Google Pay and Apple Pay allows me to connect the card to my smartphone. By the way, I have been connected to this service for a long time.

Je peux utiliser ma carte Bunq avec Apple Pay, c'est pas magnifique? I eagerly registered an account on this platform, driven by my insatiable curiosity. After seeing numerous glowing reviews, I couldn't resist the urge to dive right in and explore bunq's services.
And now, as I continue using their innovative offerings, it almost feels as if I've been granted a front-row seat to witness the remarkable evolution currently taking place within the banking sector at large.
Although they are doing an amazing job, I feel that there is still a need for further development. However, they are on the right track.
