Enjoyed working the Jeff Astor and the customer representative@ Broadfinancial. They made the process very easy.
The hardest part was finding a bank to take on my Solo 401 K
I'm extremely satisfied with broadfinancial.
I received my Solo 401k when I was told it would be here, and I'm following the steps needed to accomplish my objective. I contacted Jeff to inform him that my binder was damaged in shipping. He had a new binder sent to me in a timely manner.
I would, and have recommended them to friends and family.
Great experience
I had a question after receiving my binder, but felt I got the run around as I was transferred to another line to leave a message.
In general everything was prepared and completed as discussed. I am satisfied. Staff responded to multiple questions before I chose Broad Financial and after setting up the account in a timely manner and answered all my questions satisfactorily. However, I would not recommend anyone to pay all the expediting fees as I don't feel the extra fees actually helped my processing move significantly faster. I accepted and paid for an account on 2/17 and received final IRA-LLC funding and information on 3/9. My money was in cash so transfers from my side were quick. Several months ago I set another self directed IRA and everything was completed in half the time. I would not be afraid to recommend Broad financial to others as long as they were not in a hurry.
I have had a great experience with Jeff from Broad Financhial setting up a solo 401k!
I was very pleased. I called and talked to Avi, we talked and coresponded through email. He answered any and all of my questions. He was always quick to reply. I will definately recommend him.
Thank you,
Joanna Tarvin.
Broad Financial offers great customer service. They've made the account opening process pretty much fool proof and very easy to understand. I just opened up my Self-Directed IRA and am currently in the final phase of funding my account. So far everything has been great.
Although it took a day for someone to call me back, my questions were answered and the customer service representative was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great product!
Signing up for an Ultimate Self Directed IRA that could handle real estate and gold transactions with a checkbook was easy and straightforward with Broad Financial. Going through the process with Madison Trust to setup the Custodian and rollover the funds from my IRA at another company required me to call the old IRA company. Then to open up the checkbook account at TD Ameritrade was not easy at all. The Broad Financial site had the links to the correct forms to open an account with TDA, but there is no clue to what should be put on the forms for an IRA LLC. There needs to be examples given of what to put on the forms and which boxes to check. I called BF for help, but waited for 4 hours and called TDA to see what they wanted on the forms, which took nearly an hour on the phone. I now have the TDA account funded and the whole process took around two months. I'm still waiting for the checkbook, but that's a TDA issue. Broad did return my call the next day.
Broad Financial has done a fantastic job for me and my wife. We found everyone we dealt with very professional, they explained every step of the process, thus having a smooth transaction. We are looking forward to future support because we know it will be a professional experience.
Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
Answer: Hello Robert! There are no restrictions in this case, but in order to transfer your Self-Directed IRA to an IRA that allows you to invest in stocks, you would need to liquidate or retire any alternative assets before rolling over to a QRP. Another option is that your plan administrator must write a letter saying they accept alternative assets. However, this depends on the type of investments you would be holding at the time.
