I found Avi Kaufman to be professional, and a very helpful guide and resource.
Good info
Service, so far, has been excellent. Prompt responses, clear instructions, excellent follow up from them to keep the ball rolling.
The price is very reasonable.
Overall, a good experience.
My initial conversation established some expectations that were not realized, however. Upon my inquiry, the response given in return seemed somewhat dismissive.
I had several detailed questions about the Self-Directed IRA and setting up the LLC. Joel was able to answer all of my questions and I was able to complete everything as required.
Thanks,
Robert
Great experience so far!
Jay did a great job for us!
I have been very satisfied with BF's service to date!
I got quick responses when asked.
Jay has been great to work with in helping me get my account set-up, and answering all of my questions.
So far so good!
It's been good. Jeff has been helpful and available and answered all my questions. The only issue came up when I hadn't heard anything for several weeks and wondered what the hold up was on getting this set up. I was contacted by Joel and apparently the social security number was incorrect somehow. Ok, things happen, maybe it was my fault or not, doesn't matter. What surprised me was no one contacted me about this. I had to initiate an inquiry. This could've been solved in a heart beat and I'd have my Trust in place by now. As it is, I'm traveling extensively now and having a hard time scheduling a visit to my local Wells Fargo, but I should get it done tomorrow. It's not a big deal, it just backed things up a few weeks. Other than that I'm a happy camper so far.
No issues so far, very responsive, informative and friendly
The service is good and they answer all your question in a timely manner.
Very fast services and the binder is very comprehensive with a lot of information about how to operate my Solo 401k
Answer: I got scammed last year for just over $50k on what I thought was a legit investment site. Everything looked real — I even withdrew a small amount at first — then one day my account was “under review” and the site vanished. I reported it to the FTC and pretty much gave up hope. Months later, someone who saw my complaint told me to email cyberfundsrecovery12@ gmail. Com. I was super skeptical (once bitten, twice shy), but they actually knew exactly how these scams work. It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
Answer: Hello Robert! There are no restrictions in this case, but in order to transfer your Self-Directed IRA to an IRA that allows you to invest in stocks, you would need to liquidate or retire any alternative assets before rolling over to a QRP. Another option is that your plan administrator must write a letter saying they accept alternative assets. However, this depends on the type of investments you would be holding at the time.
