I can not express how much I love my costume. I bought a head piece and a dress because I had a samba dance routine. The dress is gorgeous, you can tell a lot of time and quality went into making this these items. I've been looking for samba shoes for a while and I'm thrilled I came across this site :) I'm so happy with the professionalism and the quality of the shoes. Very good customer service. I was always answered my requests on time and Maria was very patient and helpful. I got my shoes on time and they are very comfortable and strong. The only minus is that the color is already peeling off in the heal after the first time I worn them.
Hi Carmen, yes, we just got the email yesterday about the peeling of the paint. This is quite unusual and it will happen when shoes are stored for a long time, which could have been the case when we ordered from the cobbler. We will gladly exchange the shoes if you send it back for us, however the new shoes will come directly from Rio as in California we are sold out of that style. Thanks to Maria for helping me figure my shoe size and choose the perfect shoe style. It took several messages and phone calls. Maria was always highly responsive and she is very knowledgable. Her service is unmatched. The shoes are an excellent grade of leather and the perfect shade of gold and gloss. I purchased crystals to embellish them, but once I received them I decided to leave them as is since they are perfect. Brazil Carnival Shop will be the "go-to" for my entire dance group!
Very much satisfied with Maria Christina that helped me a lot. I'm not so satisfied with the quality off the product. Does not match the prise. The hole purchase took 6 months! Even the second boots were with wrong done brazilian flag :(
We completely agree with Meglena. The shoemaker did not designed the Brazil flag as per original design. We had it redone and still not the same. Plus shipping back and forth and re doing it in an Olympic month where there were overwhelming orders and more than 10 holidays was not good for us. 95% of our shoes takes 20-30 days to be made. Unfortunately these boots now, we had to change the description on our website about the flag. I am sure we will advise customers now on the flag issue.

I would highly recommend BCS for your dance needs. They are really responsive and caring to deliver handmade Passista quality shoes. The shoes are also easy to customize if you have big or wide feet. The shoes are very big in terms of height and platform, but very light weight, you can't tell you have on a big pair of heels on.
I'm looking forward to trying their clothes next!
