So i received my package and 3 items were missing. I had asked them to refund me the $5.16 through paypal. They keep insisting that they give me credit towards a future purchase. I said no I dont want credit because it would be useless since i wont be purchasing from them ever again. At this point I am getting help through paypal because they keep insisting that i get credit for a future purchase.

THE WORST!

Placed an order. Paid the same DAY!... I emailed after 5 days. They said they had shipped. Then got an email 8 days later with a shipping ref that was for that day. So they lied. It took 13 days for them to post the items. When it arrived. Only half the order arrived and the one of the items had been badly packaged and it exploded all over the contents of the parcel. They wanted to fob me off with a $3 voucher. Told them it was worthless to me as I never ever shop with them EVER again!. Be warned!

The website states 24 hour shipping. 5 days after placing my 2nd order... it is still not shipped. I sent an email to the customer service asking why it had yet to be shipped. I also had to do this with my first order too - I received a poorly worded response advising one of the items I ordered was out of stock - bit of a surprise as it was showing on the website as IN STOCK.
Lo and behold... I receive the exact same e-mail about my 2nd order saying that an item I'd ordered was out of stock. You guessed it... still showing as 'in stock' on the website. The email also goes on to blame too many ordered for their lack of customer update - see below!

Beware!

After over 2 months I still have not received my order
I placed the order on May 2016 and now its August 2016
Went back and forth with Born Pretty seller telling me to be patient while I am asking for a refund, well I am done waiting
Thank goodness for PAYPAL I will let them deal with this from now on

I sent and paid my order on 1st June 2016. Waited a month to recieve my parcel... opened it and half my order was missing! Contacted customer service asking for my missing items. The response was "we have to send your liquid items seperately. One of the items you ordered is out of stock. Can you pick something else or do you want to wait". They had a whole month to let me know. I even recieved an email saying all my stuff was shipped. Load of crap it was. Anyway, a month after I paid for my order and after I messaged them for my missing items they finally sent the second half of the package. And I'm still waiting. In less than a week, its been 2 months since my order was placed and they took their money... will NEVER buy from them again. The biggest thing that has ticked me off is the fact they didnt tell me when they took my money 1 item out of 19 items was out of stock. So instead of messaging me about it and sending the remainder of the package, they sent half and didnt say anything until i asked about it a whole MONTH later. And I had been messaging about when my package would arrive so they had every chance in the world to tell me..

I would definitely order from BPS again. Great experience. However, I can understand (but not agree with) the poor reviews this site is getting... because of slow service. It took my order 4 weeks to come. But this is honestly exactly what I expected. They ship from China and I ordered from the US and it's free shipping. So why complain? I see reviews on here where people went ahead and gave 1/5 because they ordered a month ago and it's still not arrived. I think that realistically, you should give it up to three months to ship. I think that's fair given the cheap prices and free international shipping. If you want your order quickly, order from another site and pay more AND pay for shipping. Or drive to your local beauty store and pay 5-10 times what you'd pay at BPS. I ordered only $16 worth of nail product. Everything I received is great quality and I got exactly what I ordered. I got a nail art brush set, a nail art stamper, 6 stamping plates, 6 rolls of nail art tape, and also a beauty blender. I got the 'random' sets of nail art plates and all six are unique. My only complaint would be the checkout process is confusing of where to enter your shipping address and I ended up putting the wrong address for shipping (my billing address which is different) and I emailed them right away after placing my order. I got a response the next day assuring me 'Don't worry we will ship to your correct address' from someone who is obviously a non native-english speaker but was extremely polite and reassuring. It did get shipped to my correct address and it took 29 days in total. I was actually surprised it came that quick to be honest. I cannot express how happy I am with my order, and I am now a BPS loyal customer :) Will be recommending to everyone!

Born Pretty is located in China, so of course their products are going to take a REALLY long time to get to you. Expect your order to take 4-6 weeks. A bit longer if you're ordering around Chinese New Year or another Chinese holiday. But aside from that, you're paying for nail art supplies for dirt cheap, when some of the same products (i. E. nail art brushes and dotting tools) are 10x the price at places like Sally Beauty. So is it worth the wait? Totally up to you. If you're impatient, then go to a store and get them. But if you're on a budget, then the prices are worth it. They also offer free international shipping which is great if you live somewhere where shipping is usually an arm and a leg (sometimes living in Canada sucks eh). However, don't take their product reviews seriously. The site only approves the 5 star reviews. I have a peel off latex barrier from their site that I don't like and I gave it like a 3 star review and haven't seen it posted on their site.

I placed an order February 5th. I knew they were on vacation as of the 7th of Feb but thought it would have already been sent out by then (because it says that they ship worldwide in 24 hours.) my order wasn't shipped for a few days after the vacation finished, but I just assumed it because because they were backed up. I waited a week from when they were back before I emailed them about it. I got a response within 2 days and they shipped it out. Then once they shipped it, it didn't have a tracking number so I emailed them twice over the span of a week so that they could either let me know my tracking number or refund me the money I paid to have it tracked. It took a week for them to respond with my tracking number. This was now somewhere around the 25-28th of Feb. When I tracked my package it said, my package was already in Vancouver, BC, where it still is today.
I live in Toronto, so at the most it should only take 7-10 more days from Vancouver to Toronto... So Why am I still waiting? It's been 2 months now.
I heard/read so many good things about bornprettystore before ordering from the that this is really disappointing. No matter how impressed I am with what I ordered, I will NOT be buying from them again

I place an order on march 23,2016 and my payment was made immediately. I did ask if I could cancel one of the items and changed my mind 2 days later. Since then They have not shipped my order nor are they replying to my emails. I have told them to cancel my order and I will be filling a complaint with PayPay. Still no reply.

Where's my order?
March 28, 2016

I placed an order for a nail polish on February 26th. It is March 28th and I still don't have it. It wasn't even until I asked that my order even shipped, and that e-mail was never even replied to. I thought these guys were in the US until I ordered and money was withdrawn from my PayPal by a name that was clearly in Chinese. Do people actually get their orders?

I placed my order on February 26,2016 and today is March 26, still have not even shipped my order. I sent 5 emails to customer service and asking for tracking number, I've been told that the items will be shipped on March 15, until today it hasn't been done! I will never use this website again nor recommend to any one.

If I would have known that this business was located in China, I would have cancelled my order! The website has NO mention ANYWHERE that they are not located in the U.S.A. I ordered my items on Feb 28,2016, the status is showing "paid' and that is all. No mention of an estimated delivery or that is has been shipped. I emailed them 5 days ago and I still haven't heard anything from them. My ONLY saving grace is that I purchased through PayPal. At least I can file a dispute!

Still not shipped!

I placed an order on 02/07/2016 and today is 03/14/2016 and they still have not even shipped it! It just says order received. I paid for my items and I am not wrong in saying that they should be at least shipped by now! I will never use this website again nor will I recommend friends.

I ordered my items over a month ago and they are only shipping now which takes another couple weeks and possible customs delay as this comes from China apparently. I Had to escalate through PayPal to get some sort of response and they couldn't get a response either. I also requested that due to the delay they ship overnight at their expense... and that didn't happen. Nothing offered to make this situation right so I will NEVER order from here again.

No communication

I placed an order on the 13th of February and it still says its status is paid (today is february 26) not shipped. They said they were on holiday and would not ship until they came back on Feb 16th but the complete lack of communication is very frustrating. I am trying to figure out if my order has shipped and/or when it will ship. I have opened a ticket several days ago and sent an e-mail and not gotten responses to either one of them. This company does not communicate well at all.

I purchased several items in December last year and even paid a little extra to be able to track it. DO NOT DO THAT! Their tracking doesn't even work! Then on top of that I haven't received anything even though it says it all shipped in December and it is now almost February! I have tried contacting them several times and still havent even heard anything from them! I am very unsatisfied! Don't let them steal your money it wasn't just me this happened to, read the other comments too!

Okay for the prices

I did a lot of research before purchasing items from this site. They seem to give free items to anyone that has a makeup blog or youtube channel. The price of items is low and the quality is hit or miss. There's quite a bit of false advertising on this site since many items aren't true to those presented on their site. Their reviews for the items are not to be trusted since they only allow the positive reviews. I tested this by posting bad, fair, and good reviews only to see the fair and good reviews were the only ones accepted into their "site approved" review boxes. The items take a very long time to ship and there is a fee for obtaining a tracking # which is suggested. Because it's hit or miss and a very long wait time to receive your order I think this site is okay.

I place my order nov23 they email me saying it has been shipped nov 27,2015. Untill now its jan 5,2016 i haven't get any of my order. Sad but im still waiting coz i really love those nail art tools i've order. Kindly do something about it..

I ordered on 11 November and it shipped out 20 November. I received my order on 2 December and all items were of a better quality than I would have expected considering the price. Everything was packed so that there would be no damage to brittle items. However, there were four items missing (out of a total 25 items).

I submitted a ticket online the same day explaining what was missing and asking if I could get these items sent to me or a refund for their value. I received a reply on 3 December apologising for the missing items and explaining that they had actually shipped the items they had in stock on 20 November, waited for the remaining items to be in stock again, and shipped those four items on 25 November. This was confirmed when I received the remaining items on 7 December.

All in all, I'm exceptionally happy with their service. There could be more communication so that there wouldn't be any misunderstandings about 'missing' items, but I'm glad that they are proactive about sending the items they do have in stock to the customer straight away and then sending the remaining items at a later date when they are replenished. In any case, when I did contact them, they contacted me within 24 hours to clear up any misunderstandings.

The shipping is admittedly slower, but considering it is free shipping, the cheap prices on the items AND the massive discounts they have at different times, I find it rather forgivable.

The quality of the items is also quite decent - I bought a selection of stamping plates, stamping polishes and hair bands and all are very workable.

I highly recommend this site, but took a star off due to the miscommunication as I know that may affect some of your decisions.

I bought a few things online and now, after SEVEN weeks, I still haven't recieved a single thing! They took my money and after loads of emails back and forth they still refuse to give me a refund! Now they're just ignoring me. Absolute $#*!.
