There is no Customer Service. I paid 109$ for books that never came. Didn't get any money back either. Made out 3 Tickets for help. No help. Be ware don't order from them.
Not worth is saving a few bucks for the amount of aggravation you get in return from book outlet. Save yourself the hassle. They do not care about their customers.
The company shipped me a book with what looks to be nail polish all over it. Obvious damage and they shipped it anyway. Pages stuck together and greenish paint all over. Outside of 5 days so they won't refund. This is absolutely ridiculous bc this book should never have been boxed. Very poor service!
I have order several times from this company. They are the text book definition of "buy at your own risk." I have had order where the books came at great condition. I have had orders where the books came in TERRIBLE condition. I also never bought any of their "scratch and dent" items. You also maybe NOT be getting all the books you think you have ordered. You won't be getting an e-mail about it either. They just won't show up. Their customer service are some sad angry people who treat you like a moron and won't do a thing to help you. The only time it's good is when the book comes good (50/50 chance of that) and you don't have to deal with their $#*!y customer service people.
I have been a customer of Book outlet for a number of years. I would purchase a lot of books that were at least 70% or less off the retail price. There were pages of colouring books that were less than $4.00. They would have a sale of 30% off already prices that were 70% off. In the last 6 months, the prices have risen to the highest prices I have ever seen. I am very disappointed with Book outlet rising there prices where they are not the best discount bookstore. I keep looking online at there coloring books hoping for the great deals I used to see before. Every time I look for a book the prices are higher than they were last week.
I ordered 13 children books for a little less than $40.
All arrived in great condition and at a much cheaper price than any other book seller site that I've done a comparisons to (and obviously much cheaper than going to the book store.)

I read the reviews on bookoutlet.ca, and was worried to order. But the prices are so tempting, so I decided to give it a try and ordered about $30 worth of books. They all arrived in great condition, took about a week (I live in Toronto, and they are based in Ontario, so that might have helped). It was delivered by Canada Post, no issues at all.
I will probably order more in the future, and hope it will go as smoothly as this first time.
There was a lot of negative reviews on books. My experience was terrific! I ordered 11 books and they all came in in perfect condition, no wears or tears or marks anywhere. I will 100% order from boom outlet again.
DO NOT buy anything from this website! It's a complete ripoff and dishonest business. I placed an order over a month ago and still haven't received it. I have reached out and created a ticket on the website and no one ever responds. At this point, they have stolen my $65.
My experience with Book Outlet was the worst that I've had with any company. It was two weeks before they even transported the book to the post office, book still hasn't arrived at destination four weeks after initial order, it took their complaint department four days to reply to my first complaint, I'm still waiting for their reply to my second complaint and request for money back. I wish I'd looked at this site before and benefited from other people's equally bad experience. They're either dishonest or incompetent; how hard is it to ship a book?
Ordered 7 books and they came in perfect condition expect for a small mark at the bottom of the book but I will 100% order from here again.
I first found bookoutlet.ca in the spring during lockdown. I have since placed 4 orders with them. All of my books have arrived in great condition and I'm always excited to find books on their site that I have been waiting to read. I love taking advantage of the bigger sales(more than 15% off) and have also used 2 coupon codes from their loyalty points program. I have recevied points for friends ordering which is great. When I didn't receive rewards for taking loyalty quizzes I emailed customer service and was given the points immediately. I am very happy with bookoutlet and will continue to order from them for myself and my family.
I've placed several orders now and I'm overall extremely happy. Two orders for my family and 1 order for work. Shipping is fast, books are in new condition, and the pricing is amazing. Had to contact customer support once and they resolved my issue very quickly.

Thats what these guys are. NOT an iota of honesty in their dealings. I bought a book and paid extra for expedited shipping. They never sent the book, responded with "we will get back to you" or "we are working on it"

I've been ordering from this site for years and love it! Shipping is typically fast and the prices are great! Never had an issue in 20+ orders.
I didn't read any reviews before I ordered, but I did order 8 books and couldn't be happier with them. All of them were perfect, only a couple of them even had a remainder mark. I have another box full coming tomorrow, I have no doubt they will be fine too. Some people just love to complain
I ordered 6 books almost 3 months ago and never received them. The company has made no resolutions, though they already have charged me for the books! I would NOT do business with this company!
I never received my package nor a refund for it, and I also placed another order which I cancelled (but was still charged for) and have STILL not received a refund, even though I cancelled the order almost three weeks and over ten business days ago... I am a full time student and really need this money returned to me as well as the money for the other order if they are not going to send me the books.
