I ordered books in quantities of 10 for a book club that I run. The books took around 2 full weeks to arrive at my destination. They are in excellent condition, and hardbacks at paperback prices! I am impressed overall.

Easy to shop. Books run out fast though and no notifications or alert system for when a book you're interested is available. Delivery was within estimated time- but on the last day of estimated time. Didn't like that I couldn't see the progress for days. Quality of books are good for the price! Brand new really. A fee with small wear but just like a new book you get off the shelf at target.
The prices were awesome, and the books looked as if they were new - spines not cracked. It would be nice to know that the delivery time is a bit longer than expected. Only major quibble was the way the books were packed. They moved around in the box so one book slid inside another and mangled the pages. Cover of the book that slid inside was partly torn. Luckily the gift book was unharmed.
My experience with Book Outlet has been lovely- the books are always so reasonably priced, and the quality of the books themselves leaves almost nothing lacking. Occasionally, there will be small imperfections on the covers, but other than that, it's just like ordering off of Barnes and Noble without the exorbitant price tag.
Easy to shop, affordable, and a large collection of books
I do like ordering books from you but it takes forever for them the show up and sometimes the box(es) look like they have been thru a warzone. It feels like you guys cram as many books as you can in the cheapest boxes possible and many times with out any packing materials to keep the books from moving around and in some cases they do arrive damaged.
Well my order was placed on August 31st. The package was lost. However I reached out on Sept 8 and got a refund immediately so that was great. Yesterday the post office delivery a lost package letter. So I didn't get my books but I received the refund in a very timely manner.
The shipping took way longer than I expected, and my book has a red ink blot stain on the bottom pages. I wasn't aware of any defects of the book.
Was told 1-3 business days (I think) and it turned into 6 :/ not a huge issue I just didn't know what was going on
It took over two weeks for me to receive my books.

I love the price I got the books for, but my package was supposed to arrive within a week thereabouts. It showed up a week and a half late, which was a little annoying. The big thing was there were pages that were ripped and folded in. I was expecting less damage done to the books, but it is what it is and I can't wait to read them!

The classic books that I ordered had a soft, suede-like cover with beautiful lettering on them. I love these! And they look beautiful on my shelf :)
