As of right now, I have a non favorable review. I only recieved part of my order. I contacted customer service 4+ days ago. Got a voice message stating you must email. No option to speak to anyone or leave a voice mail. I sent an email and recieved an automated message saying not to open another case or it will push my current case back...
These were holiday gifts.

I am an English teacher and I buy most of the books for my classroom library myself. I recently transitioned from middle to high school, so Book Outlet has allowed me to ramp up my collection quickly for my new students in a way that is impressing my husband rather than leaving him considering divorce.
If the books had arrived in time for the family event, it may have been a pleasant experience. As it were, I no longer need the books and am now being asked to pay shipping to return the unopened box.
Not the best experience I have had with a seller on line.
Had trouble finding book 2 in a trilogy at Amazon, book outlet had it and the service and price were great
A box from my first order got lost and Book Outlet was great about giving me a refund. I was disappointed not to be able to reorder some of the books I was really looking forward to, but I understand that it is an outlet and that's just the way it is. I did reorder the ones still available and some others, but I'm still a little disappointed. Shipping takes forever, but given how far away I live (Hawaii!) and how heavy books are, and given the price paid for shipping I don't mind the wait at all. I can't speak as to shipping speeds in North America, but I'm sure they are much better. I hate that there's a box of awesome books floating around out there somewhere and I hope Book Outlet was able to get them back or at least has some sort of insurance with the shipping partner.
I really just shopped only the closeout category! Seemed silly to buy just one $3 book, so I bought four. Great shipping rates, fast shipping, couldn't be happier with my latest pile of reading.
I placed a large order on the first of the month. Two weeks later a small box of books arrived. Most of my books were in a separate shipment and have still not arrived nearly 3 weeks later. The tracking ticket just says in transit and hasn't been updated since the 7th (today is the 20th). I submitted a ticket yesterday and still haven't heard back. I needed the books by the 21st and the site said it would take about 10 days. Very disappointed and will not shop here again for anything needed for gifts or by a certain time frame.
Need to have more and/or better shipping notifications.
I received an empty package! There was nothing inside, it looked like the book I ordered fell out as they were packaging it

The book was in perfect shape and was a real bargain. It just took a long time to arrive.
Books are excellent and in excellent condition. Shipping time does take allot longer than I anticipated.
The boxes arrived damaged and books were missing from the hole in the box. Many of the books had bent corners and folded pages from lack of packing. When we called you get a quick answering machine message and a hang up. Send a email to get a response in one to two days maybe. Very disappointed.

I think the books need to see used better in the box so they won't possibly fall out.
The only problem I had was that they were not delivered in time for my childrens' party.(I have a home childcare business.) That could be due to me not ordering in time or a delay with the USPS. I was tracking the package and it said it was in my local post office for 5 days before I received the package which was frustrating. I loved the books and the price and will just order earlier next time if I have a deadline. Thanks.
Finally found a good bookstore, was able to make an order online and got it in no time. A lot of options and OK price
