I ordered a couple of books I had been wanting for a while and some as presents! The prices were great considering how newly published they were and that they were hardcovers. It's hard to get books in Canada because of how expensive they have gotten. However, I think customers need to keep in mind that the books aren't brand new. Some are in great quality, while others are a bit banged up and one of the books I ordered, the cover was almost ripped in two, and another book had their pages bent in half. So they are readable books, but if a customer is the type that likes perfectly displayed books, I think they should pass on book outlet.

A few books uve been wanting, they don't carry but for children's gifts it was good.
Only thing I was concerned about was why it was delayed in getting to my mother in law. When I called I was told that it hadn't been sent because someone was checking about my mailing address and received address was different. When I spoke to someone the issue was corrected and book went out the next day.
Book outlet has very reasonable prices and love the fact that you can shop and earn aeroplan miles with bookoutlet.ca. Will definitely be ordering here again!

I couldn't pick the payment details. I tried everthing. I took my selections out, put them back in. Deleted my account and started another one. Still could not pay. I have purchased before. I ended up calling. Which the hours are 9-4 M-F. I work 7-4 M-F. So not ideal. I got my books in the end. I think it took about 3 week in the end to order them.
I appreciate the low prices however one of my white hard cover books came with black scuff marks all over it.
I have no issues with Book Outlet at all. Prices were great, books are in great shape. But their delivery company sent my box to the WRONG HOUSE. I had to go onto another person's property to find my box. The other house didn't even have a proper house number on it so I don't know why the delivery person chose to leave it there?
I have had to reach out to customer service and Book Outlet has handled my issues way beyond my expectations. They handled my issue (not BO's fault) with such ease and professionally in a very timely manner. I highly recommend doing your buying with the company.

There are so many books to choose from! There is a genre for every book lover and I really do appreciate that! I am so glad that Books Outlet was shared with me and now I am hooked lol!
I love book outlet. I'm an avid reader, and books are expensive. I can always find books from my TBR for much less on book outlet. While I love second hand book stores, they usually don't have anything I'm specifically looking for. Not to mention the free shipping is a great added perk.
