For anyone wondering about ordering online. The reviews are TRUE. They have you pay for the entirety of the order only to ship things separately with no garauntee on arrival ( or if you will even get your item (s). Still have not received any shipping confirmation for part of my order sitting in limbo somewhere. Also would like to add that part of the order they partially shipped was a matching outfit and really makes no sense otherwise to have one piece or the other. I bought a matching set, intending to wear it as a set. Furthermore, if things aren't available in your warehouse, DONT let customers pay for items and then decide on your timeline if and when you'll be shipping. If it's not in stock you should be updating your website appropriately. This is bad business all around

Worst customer service.

Would give a zero star if I could.I ordered a pair of pants for my grandson for Christmas, said 2-5 business days for shipment. The tracking number they left said go to the shop app, in doing so it never took you to a tracking sight just shopping sight. Contacted them by email after Christmas and got the usual " we are experiencing higher volumes of calls than expected". When they did get back to me they told me that they were delivered to my house by the courier. When I contacted them again by email no response. I did manage to get a number to call and the guy on the other end was not very pleasant or helpful. Told me they were delivered to my house by the courier and there was nothing they could do. Now I am out over $80. Never setting foot on the Boathouse again. Phone number for online customer service is *******350.

I was in the CrossIron Mills mall in Calgary today and went to the boathouse to look at some clothing that they had in their store. I found some underwear that I was looking for and went to the cashier to cash out. After a lengthy line I got to the cashier and she cashed me out and then I noticed that I had the wrong size. She didn't know what to do so she went and asked the manager he got upset said no returns and told me to get out of the store or he would call security. Found this to be very tasteful and very rude on the managers part. If he is that stressed out, he should not be in that position.

Extremely unsatisfied

I bought boots in an order in November, and somehow a shacket was also ordered. I did not realize I had been charged until I got an email 3 weeks after the boots came in, saying it was on its way. It was a clearance item, cost over $100. I emailed to ask them to cancel it and got multiple automated emails back but nothing helpful. I went to the local store, they couldnt help becuse it was a clearance item. I contacted someone through customer service number and they started communicating with me via email, then completely stopped. Called them after waiting a week again, another worker continued where we left off. She agreed to a refund. Two weeks after it was provided, I get an email saying they refunded me $45! It was over 100 spent! I will NEVER shop with them again and I'm letting others know. VERY UNHAPPY.

Worst company and service ever!
2items out of 3 received one item missing they indicate all 3 were shipped!.only 2 items were received and were sent back and it s been over 6 weeks and still no reinbursment even after sending emails and calling them. They just don t care and ignore you! Terrible service.

Worst customer service and shipping. It's obvious they have few employees and are more interested in the money in their pocket then customer satisfaction. I placed an order online on December 5th and according to the website it 2-5 business for shipping. It's December 18 and according to the cs agent I just spoke to I will not have it before Christmas because they are still working on November orders.

Should've read reviews before I ordered. Bought 3 items. 2 were sent. Fully charged for all 3 items. Two weeks later, $70 pants I've paid for have not been shipped and no response to 4 emails sent. Will never shop here again. Will be contacting credit card for refund.

Awful Online Experience
November 30, 2023

I ordered 4 things almost 2 weeks ago and I received 2 things the next day only to have zero tracking information sent to me on the last two items. I emailed the company and no response. I finally got on an online chat only for them to tell me they are over two weeks behind on pulling orders. Explained that I needed these items for a vacation and I thought giving them a month was plenty of time but now looks as thought I won't get the stuff in time. The online chat was with "Robyn" and she nonchalantly told me too bad and there is nothing they can do. Clearly they have one very ineffective workers pulling every order that comes across the system and Boathouse could care less whether they taje care of their customers. Absolutely brutal in my opinion.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order online and they only sent 1 of my 2 items. It's been 2 weeks since my "2-5 day" delivery. And I've written them 4 times asking for my refund. Not one response from them. I'd have preferred my order, than the refund. But at this point I want my money back. I will never buy from them again. Super scam

Boathouse is a joke

The customer service here at Boathouse is volatile. I purchased a pair of boots on sale that claimed to be a size 9 as advertised and when I received them I can 100% say they absolutely are not a size 9 more like a 7! They asked me to measure the boot and send pictures which is difficult because they are combat boots so the bottom rubber compared to what is inside the boot is different because obviously the rubber is bigger. Alyssa who I spoke to on the phone answered with a very rude demeanor and concluded the call in a sarcastic rude tone saying she was looking forward to helping me but I knew it was said in sarcasm because the tone vs what was said was completely different. Moral of the story they sold me a defective product that they refused to refund me and had a disgusting attitude doing it. They are everything crappy merchandise and customer service is made of. Spend your money elsewhere.

I went to this store in the Promenade to look around and I was greeted by the staff she said to me "Good Day Sir, how may I be of assistance, can I help you find anything in our store", I said to this individual, its very nice of you to take the time to greet me and offer any assistance, she replied, if there is anything that you need please let me know, and my name is Natasha and I'm the Manager here. I said wow, I'm very impressed that the management took the time to extend such a friendly welcome. I did make a few purchases with the assistance and excellent suggestion from the Manager. Thank you.

Awful customer service

Horrible customer service. No response to emails.
3 weeks and no sign of my order, Boathouse states they have to submit a claim with the carrier for investigation and wait on results before they can do anything with my order.

Horrible customer service

I am beyond annoyed and want to warn people not to purchase anything from the bs company. They promise and say that they have the fastest shipping in Canada 2-5 business days but than neglect to send you all your items. I spent $150 for 3 items and only received one of them.
I have been trying to get in contact with them since May 2nd and no one has responded
The company uses false advertising on their online orders and it's bs on what is promised.

Awful experience online

These Muppets shipped one item.out of the 2 I ordered. I reviewed the one item and the other item was left with no tracking number or updates for 10 days. After a week of trying to contact them I finally got thru on live chat just for them to tell me there was an inventory error and they don't have the item.i ordered. Yet the item is still listed on their site. Boathouse has non existent customer service and.cant even update their inventory. Do not shop here

Boathouse has been BY FAR the worst experience i've had to deal with when it comes to online shopping. Not only that but if you look at their items, there's not a single item that is rated below 5 stars. They purposely don't approve subpar reviews.

Went to Boathouse and bought a hoodie for my son for christmas and it didnt fit him, went to return it and they refused to take it back saying that it smelt of smoke as a non smoker this is ridiclous now i am out 90 bucks for a hoodie that doesnt fit my son, and I believe the manager a heavy set women with tattoos smelt the hoodie and acted like i was a criminal and refused to return the hoodie, or exchange it or give me a instore credit.
