I am inexperienced beginner blogger, site maybe too advanced for me
I was sold onbluehost/wordpress as it appeared it would be easy to quickly set up website from template but this has not been my experience.
The website nuked when trying to add a music player. It makes no sense, and all my time and energy are wasted. Why did I pay for this?
I'm having a terrible time figuring out the most simplest steps to choose and apply a theme and edit the content. NOT very intuitive or easy at all!
Three weeks ago, i left Bluehost after multiple problems with Customer service and website issues. I went to Hostinger, and they must hire from the same pool. So I decided to come back to Bluehost. I opened a new account, hoping to drop some of the issues I had the last ti e. So when I joined i was given a random domain name. I tried using my domain Nakedspoonmedia.com, which just froze your system now I have to wait to see if it gets resolved. So I guess I just have to wait and see.
When does Bluehost go's down? They go down hard, everything quits working and when you call Customer Support it's a shit show. Bluehost went down and I lost an entire site, we're talking 100's of hours, and money wasted on a website. And when you call Customer service you are met with attitude and ignorance. Bluehost use to be good hosting but over the years it has progressively gotten worse and worse. Like yesterday I log in and everything was gone and nothing worked, Again! So I knew if I tried to contact Customer service I was leaving the country and going to India and met with attitude and poor customer service and to be honest i don't see it getting better, just worse. But there is always another hosting service out there.
I feel like I have been nickeled and dimed. I would have just preferred to know the amount up front and I would have been fine with that.
My website isn't loading already and I haven't ever logged into it
Many times I have faced some technical issues and all time the support team always helped to resolve the matter
I cannot access my website to keep editing it. All of a sudden it says site not secure. I have not even published it yet!
It's a whole new ball game so it's not easy to figure out but I guess I'm getting there.
Keep getting lost. Glad for the guide but trying to listen to speaker and follow instructions is a challenge. Will get there just need to focus right now
I have never created my own website before and while I don't recall my experience on September 17, the people at Bluehost are extremely kind and helpful!
So far the login works fine. Just starting to use it.
Everything I'm told to do, doesn't work. I save my password and it doesn't accept it.
It has just been a little confusing trying to set up my website with WordPress.
Nothing works here, I could not transfer my registered Domain, I could not launche my Wordpress site, nothing works here!
If I could you get no stars at all. And you ask why? Wordpress is not a program at all. It's a shell. With a million parts that are not there when you need them. Almost everything you have to do beyond breathing requires plug-ins. You have to look for what you don't know. A complete waste of time! I've spent hours trying to create a menu which turns out to be so limited it amounts to a bunch of buttons in a row. A real, pathetic waste of time. Don't know why you're still on the market. Unless what's on offer is so much worse.
I type a quick message about my experience so far.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
