As an 82-year-old Real Estate Broker with no programming experience, I did my homework on website hosts before signing up with blue host in the December 2022.
Shortly they are after, I dove headfirst into learning how to program and build a website from scratch; no copy and paste, or packaged site.
And I had a great experience. So much so, that one of now five websites I've designed already won a national award ranking that site in the top 25% of content providers,
But starting about three months ago, before blue Host launched their new Site, I began to run into endless blacklisting on my IP site. And when my site is blacklisted, I am unable to access any of the modules that allow me to modify, improve, or grow the websites. I work so hard to create.
And nothing I tried through any resource available to me on blue Host made any Improvement in that situation over a period of nearly 3 months.
If my site was infected, I had bought site lock from blue Host and when blue hose could not resolve the problem, they told me to go call site lock.
When I called site, I wasted more than an hour with their tech-support team before being told "but you bought that package from blue Host and you need blue Host to resolve the issue …"
WTF?
Now, even weeks later, I am still unable to access and download the data packages for those various sites so that I can relocate them to a vendor who is able to provide that service.
I learned a very long time ago and asked him I am sad to repeat: "Nothing changes but the date…" when it come to receiving service you've already paid for in advance.

I was new to creating a webpage for my blog. I found working with Bluehost and Wordpress manageable for someone with little experience.
Lots of important things broken:
- some email forwarders aren't working properly
- poor tech support
- new navigation is not intuitive and hard to find things
- can't access some of the DNS records
The Sitelock for publiagencia.com of ******* can't renewed because it has expired and when I try to renew it, appears a legend telling me "We couldn't process this action at this time, please try again later". But this happen all the time.
The system will not let me add a security pin - keeps saying something went wrong, yet I only have 1 more time to log in without doing it.
Changes are making it harder to access admin area of sites
All of my emails are spammed and I havent gave them out to anyone

Domain outage for over a month, no explanation of why it is not working nor are they offering to move my domain to a working server.

CPanel is hard to find... too may clicks... put it up on the main menu... perhaps under emal cPanel. Also, after log in at bluehost I need to scroll down to the bottom to click the link... why do I need to see all this advertising prior!
The new interface for managing the account and sites is terrible.

My Bluehost based email accounts were blocked repeatedly for weeks and the Bluehost chat support just kept going in circles doing the same thing over and over and not solving the problem. They refused to provide direct responses to diagnostics that were performed by Spamhaus and Cloudmark and they refused to escalate my problem to a higher level. One tech told me she did escalate and they would contact me but later I discovered she never escalated my problem.
I'm totally lost, and I keep getting an error message in red when I try to install Wordpress. So far, haven't been able to proceed past go. Will reach out to support once the holidays have passed.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
