I have always been delighted with the service, mainly because of the support team, with quick responses and a warm approach, with operators who left a feeling of closeness and kindness. However, in the last year, I have noticed a decline. Although I haven't had a bad experience so far, I have noticed a significant delay between each response, everything feels very rigid to the point where you might even doubt if you are speaking with a chatbot or a human operator.
CodeGuard restore didn't work when required, causing me a huge problem and taking my website offline for 4 days while it was manually restored. To make it worse, the original problem requiring the restore was another piece of non-working functionality - the ability to swap PHP version on the fly, it worked a couple of times, then crashed the entire website irrecoverably. All in all, not a great customer experience at all
Getting charged for add ons thought were included. Not always easy to edit templates.

I have not been able to get into the cPanel Email for over a day. We have business to conduct and this is preventing my employee from getting access to their email.
Nobody will help me getting google workspace set up. I purchased from another vendor and everytime I call or chat, I'm told that I'm required to purchase workspace through bluehost in order for them to connect. That is simply not true as I'm trying to work with the other vendor. However bluehost has offered NO technical support and is impossible to work with; I can't get anyone who speaks good English, they just repeat "I'm sorry for your trouble" type language back at me and tell me I have to buy workspace through bluehost. If the other vendor isn't able to help me today during my meeting, I will be requesting a refund of my bluehost domain.
So far I have been with Bluehost for 10 years and I enjoy being with them. Server uptime is never an issue and most things are simple to do.
However lately the customer service and knowledge level seems to have gone down a bit.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
