NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BIKE INN!

I ordered spare parts for my folding bike. Website mentioned everything in stock. Reality: nothing in stock! Awful communication and customer care. Took months to get my money back for order that never arrived. And this only after I wrote a negative review on Trustpilot. Seems the only way to get a response from Bike Inn (part of Trade INN, Spain) AND to get your money back. Advice after Bike Inn scammed you: Write a VERY negative review on Trustpilot! Looks like Bike Inn uses Trustpilot as their complaints department. But even Trustpilot can't be trusted, tries to take down negative reviews about Bike Inn and to "invent" positive reviews. Again, be aware! Avoid at all costs!

TradeInn / BikeInn hat mir mehrmals schriftlich bestätigt, dass Sie bei Lieferungen ausserhalb der Europäischen Union OHNE die spanische Mehrwertsteuer verrechnen würden. Eine Bezahlung in Euro ist nicht möglich und es wird ausschliesslich in der Landeswährung verrechnet, die dem Lieferland entspricht (in meinem Falle in CHF).

Ich habe ein Gerät mit einem Kaufpreis von 799.00 Euro (inkl. 21% spanische Mehrwertsteuer) bestell. Das entspricht einem Kaufpreis von 660.33 Euro ohne Mehrwertsteuer. TradeInn / BikeInn hat mir dafür 810.96 CHF (inkl. 21.99 CHF für Transport) in Rechnung gestellt.
Auf alle meine Rückfragen zum – aus meiner Sicht zu hohen – verrechneten Kaufpreis erhielt ich von jedem Mitarbeiter des Kundendienstes andere, ausweichende Antworten. Mehrheitlich wurde mir erklärt, dass TradInn / BikeInnn keinen Einfluss auf weitere Zoll- und Transport gebühren hätte, obwohl diese mit dem Kaufpreis gar nichts zu tun haben und vom Schweizer Zoll separat in Rechnung gestellt werden.
In einem der Mail's vom Kundendient hat mit ein Mitarbeiter geschrieben, dass mir 731.85 Euro (entsprechend den 810.96 CHF) verrechnet wurden. Somit wurden mir für das Gerät ca. 714.00 Euro verrechnet und nicht 660.33 Euro! Dies entspricht einem Mehrpreis von ca. 8%.
Interessanterweise entspricht dieser Mehrpreis ziemlich genau der Mehrwertsteuer, welche Schweizer Kunden bezahlen müssen, wenn sie im Ausland einkaufen!

Mein Fazit:
• TradeInn / BikeInn hat kein Interesse an transparenter Preisinformation.
• TradeInn / BikeInn verrechnet willkürliche Preise ins Ausland und hofft, dass die Kunden dies nicht bemerken, weil in der Landeswährung des Kunden verrechnet wird.
• Der Kundendienst ist überfordert und hat keinerlei Interesse, die Kunden offen und ehrlich zu informieren. Zudem schreibt jeder Kundendienstmitarbeiter etwas anderes.
• Die Preisgestaltung ist (wahrscheinlich) bewusst so gewählt, damit der ausländische Käufer davon ausgeht, dass TradeInn / BikeInn inkl. (Vor-) Verzollung versendet würde, was aber nicht der Fall ist.
• Kaufen sie deshalb besser in einem andern Online-Shop (z. B. in Deutschlandbei Bike-Discount, Rose-Bikes usw.) ein. All diese ermöglichen die Bezahlung in Euro und zeigen die Rechnungsstellung transparent auf und senden vorverzollt in Länder ausserhalb der Europäischen Union, so dass der Endpreis klar ersichtlich ist.
Alle Mails und Rechnungen sind vorhanden und bei Bedarf einsehbar.

Bikeinn is a Scam

I bought a bike seat on the 27 November 2020. Order: ******* expected date of delivery was 21 December 2020. It was not delivered. I contacted them to be told due to the December delivery there was a delay. So I waited. January, February nothing. I contacted them again in March. They asked me to fill in a lost item tracking form which I did. Then nothing. I contacted them again to refund me as no product was delivered. They informed me that if an item is shipped they will not cancel the order and refund. So that means once shipped ( if it was shipped at all) you will not get a refund even if no product is delivered. They don't have to send you anything. Its a scam. They will just keep your cash. Over 6 months have passed and I have nothing to show for my purchases.

I ordered a new tire for my mountain bike on 4/14/2021. It was supposed to be delivered between April 22-26. As of 4/28 it hasn't arrived and no tracking update since 4/22. Bikeinn now tells me; "Customs can take between 15-60 days to unblock your parcel and proceed with delivery." Not thrilled with the delay and do not plan on using them in the future.

I have been scammed by Bikeinn. I placed an order for parts to build a new bike wheel (spokes, rims, tire, etc). A week after placing the order, i checked the status to see one item (spokes) listed as 'may be out of stock'. I inquired with customer service who told me they were definitely out of stock, despite already selling them to me. I was then told to change my cart myselfto replace the item. I looked in to this but seemed to be susceptible to an extra fee. Customer service reassured me this was the right approach. So, I went through the process. At Checkout for adding the new item to my cart, the price was deceptively displayed to hide an extra shipping charge. After payment, i was shown to have paid for a new product, plus a new shipping charge, despite the original order not yet being shipped. Then i tried to remove the old product from my order. They did not credit me back to value of this order.

Now, I am being charged for my original order, including the part not being deliver, plus the replacement part, plus the original shipping, plus an extra hidden shipping for the replacement part.

I've seen quite a number of unhappy reviews which made me nervous after ordering so i thought i should mention my good experiences. First items were brake pads. They took a long time but did arrive. My most recent order of bike grips arrived today. Third order: more bike grips and more brake pads. Fair prices, shipping charges and packaging. The correct items got here quickly and with excellent, proactive communications and tracking info along the way.

I ordered an Osprey Katari hydration pack which is supposed to include the hydration bladder/reservoir but the packaged product didn't include a reservoir. Customer service was of absolutely no help - I've received neither a refund nor did they sent the missing reservoir. I've ended up buying the reservoir from Amazon at a cost approaching the total of what I had paid Bikeinn for what was supposed to include both the pack and reservoir. It turns out that the manufacturer had made a running change to discontinue including the bladder, but the marketing description used by bikeinn did not change nor did the documentation pamphlet attached to the product itself. For just the bag without a reservoir, the price ended up being more expensive than just buying locally.

Buyer beware

Would give zero stars if it were possible. Bought bike bottle cages and bottles, one of the bottles faulty, that's where the dodging and weaving begin by their shocking customer service. They make it so difficult, you just give up in the end. Won't buy from them ever again.

When you buy something beware that you will not be able to get a refund, despite what they say. I brought some shoes, they were too small. So I had to pay the £8 return cost, sent it off and over 2 months later am still awaiting refund. Bikeinn do not respond, they provide you with a tracking link which states that the product is in a local warehouse, where it has been for 8 weeks now.
This company is dodgy.

Had a Good Experience

I ordered 2 tires on Feb 4,2021. I could buy tires locally but not Schwalbe which I absolutely love. I had them shipped by regular post. Their estimated arrival date was Feb 11 to Feb 14 which I figured was optimistic as they were coming from the Netherlands all the way to Ottawa Ontario Canada. They shipped promptly. The tracking was sparse but they got to Canada Customs in Mississauga where they remained for 6 days. I received them at my door today Feb 24th packaged well and no extra charges. I would buy from them again as the prices were so good as long as I'm not in a rush.

BIKEINN ARE REALLY BAD, STAY AWAY

TERRIBLE! AVOID!

I ordered something expensive and it didn't arrive when expected. Bikeinn didn't let me know there were any delays which meant I had to chase them up they have NO PHONE number, just an arrogant operator on chat (I was No 14 in a queue). On checking the tracking, Bikeinn didn't give the item to the courier for FOUR DAYS! DREADFUL SERVICE. The chat operator said there had been delays but the truth is they couldn't be bothered to send the package for four days. STAY AWAY, I won't be using them again, I didn't realise they weren't based the UK but Spain instead.

Do yourself a favour and give them a miss.

Been ripped off company refusing to refund item delivered apparently although they can't provide address it's been delivered too or proof of delivery I noticed a error they mixed up invoice address and billing address I contacted them before item was dispatched they still sent it to wrong address now item has gone missing they have been looking into it but it's been two months I'm getting passed from pillar to post customer service is terrible satisfaction guarantee is bull$#*! so is refund policy

The delivery time and customer service are the worst I had when buying online.

I ordered bike helmet and it took 2 months to ship it! And then another 3 weeks until I received it.

When I contact the customer service they keep avoid from taking responsibility or suggest any compensation.

The price wasn't that good for me to wait more than 2 month for the helmet.

Absolute Fraud, NO Customer Service

I've contacted their customer services(online chat and in-system message) several times, and they singed out when I required to refund.

I wish I would have read this before buying 2 pairs of shoes that didn't fit.
They sold a pair of shoes as size 13, I ordered and they arrived as a size 46, I need a 47, apparently.
Ordered a second pair as a 47 but somehow it changed to a 43!
They said in both cases the error was mine and that I would pay the cost of return shipping.
Phoned DHL who said they needed Bikeinn's account number to quote discounted shipping.
THIS SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT TO THE END USER, WE SHOULDN"T HAVE TO DO *ANYTHING* to get the discounted rate.
As it is, ~$135 to return both shoes from the US to Spain.
Now I'm stuck with $300 of worthless shoes.

NEVER AGAIN!

Stay away from BikeInn!

I have bought an expensive bike trailer from BikeInn in November 2020. The box came with some missing items and I have now been in contact with BikeInn for more than 6 weeks (14 emails sent + 4 phone calls in Spain!) and I have simply received no answer whatsoever. Bonus: I have been charged some extra fees that were not clearly explained when I initially submitted the buy online (income duty import which represents 10% extra on the top of the overall price).
Don't get impressed by the shiny website, they are not serious professionals. Stay away from BikeInn!

Horrible business

I purchased cycling shoes and cleats from this business. The cycling shoes came without the external plate to secure the cleats. I emailed 4 times and there is no response. They have no phone number so I have no way to get in touch with them. What kind of reputable business has no phone number? They are frauds.

The absolute worst.

The absolute worst. Ordered on 12/8, item is still not in the US. They did not make it clear that your order will be shipped from Spain on the web site. Prices are US$ and no mention of serious shipping delays due to international shipping. They also take days to respond to your questions. Never again.

Don't waste your money

I didn't believe all the reviews. Their items were cheaper. After I paid, the item has never arrived for more than a months. The customer service keep saying it's stuck at customs but the local courier provider said the item has never arrived. So pls learn from my mistake, cheap doesn't mean it's good
