Ordered matching shirts for two brothers. At least that was the idea. One was sent in the wrong size. Would not accept a return even though the error was theirs. Credited me for the wrong size but I didn't want either of them. I wanted matching shirts! Asked to speak to a manager and was sent to a voicemail and a box that was full!
Called back and was on hold for twenty minutes only to be told that it would do me no good to speak to a manager that a manager would tell me the same thing. Cancelled a large pending order and I will NEVER shop there again.

This is is BULL$#*!! I placed my order October 14th for my sons birthday! It was suposse to be here 11/15/2012. Today is Dec 6 and now their sending me emails that many things I ordered are now not in stock! WTF!? They sure charged my account the same day for $150. My sons birthday was 11/29/12 meaning I had to go spend more $$$$

I called today and they have no idea if they even have any of my order 0.0 I have been on hold for over 30 mins now!

This site is such a freaking joke! If they had a -5 star rating that would be my rating! So dissatisfied!

So far not good. I ordered my things on November 16th and it is December 5th at night and they just sent a message that my order is ready to ship. Are they kidding? All the orders I ordered from other websites were delivered 2 weeks ago and this shipment has not technically even made it onto a truck yet. I won't be ordering from them again.

I ordered a couple of product early November I had not gotten my items a month later.

When I called customer service they were not helpful and simple said my order was held back because of one item in my order. When I asked them why I was never emailed and informed about this, I got no response.

When I asked about shipping the items that were available already, the lady said that not how their business operates. The only solution is to cancel the order for the item that was outstanding. Then they can ship my other items.

This is poor customer service at its highest...

I ordered five books, each at $1 a piece. When proceeded to checked out my total was $5, I confirmed my order of $5 then was sent an email stating my total was $12.95.

This rediculous website says nothing about charging shipping or any shipping charged until after you have already confirmed an order.

I emailed them complaining about this and here is there response. "Unfortunately we are unable to warn our customers of early shipping or halt shipping upon request."

Thats it, so much for customer service. If only want to know that you are being charged shipping after you've confirmed an order, this is the company for you. But if you're like me and assume when you confirm an order the confirmed price you are agreeing is what you are being charged, shop somewhere else.

Terrible customer service! I placed an order on October 25th. I actually forgot about my order until I was looking at more Melissa and Doug toys on their site on DECEMBER 1st and remembered I was already waiting on some puzzles. The estimated shipping date for my items was November 16th. I never received any communication regarding the delay. I emailed customer service. When I did not get any response (other than an automated receipt of my inquiry) I called 3 days later. I waited on hold for 15 minutes, and was then placed on hold for another 5 minutes so my snarky customer service rep who talked over me repeatedly could find out the problem. I happened to be home with my sick daughter, but otherwise do not have 20 minutes to wait on the phone! I was told one item was holding up my order but she could cancel that item and my other things would ship in "a few days". I asked if I would receive a shipping confirmation and a tracking number. She told me I could CALL BACK TOMORROW! Are you kidding?!?! Shouldn't Totsy be calling me at this point? She also told me my credit card would be charged once the items ship. I thought I already paid for the order, and after reading the other reviews from customers who experienced payment issues, I think they must have changed their policy. Regardless, it was an out! I hadn't paid for anything and would like nothing more than to never deal with Totsy again. I cancelled my order, (they made no attempt to remedy the situation with a refund or credit) and left a message for a manager who I will be very surprised to hear from. DO NOT ORDER FROM TOTSY!

Worst deals website out there! Save your time, energy, money and go somewhere else! Placed order on 11/5.11/29 have not received it yet. Emailed company 3 times, got automated answer that my email was received and will be anawered- no answer yet. Their 1 888 doea not even work so dont bother, found a number to call them if you live in alasja, got connceted, and put on hold for 27 minutes, diaconeccted after that- my call was dropped! Calling my credint card tomortow to dispute purchase! Ridicilous!

They need to do a better job of keeping their customers in the loop. Publishing your delivery schedule creates general awareness but sending your customer an email with updates once the order has a change in status is just good customer management. Sadly this site has only gotten half of this right. I don't see any demonstrable improvement. I should have stuck with my plan of never using this site again. Horrible.

Cute items at a good price, but i'd stay away. I've ordered from them twice and both times, i've had problems.

They time the items in your shopping basket so there's no such thing as browsing and returning to the site at a later time. You need to have the time to sit there and look through all their sales at one time. My first order, i spent 30 minutes browsing only to find that my order was cancelled "accidentally" by Totsy. When they finally recreated my order, they conveniently left out the coupon code i had applied to the order. They finally applied the code after a couple of follow-up e-mails, so i thought i'd try the site again.

In my 2nd order, i had ordered a 2-piece pajama set for my son. The set came with 2 different sizes. Totsy's response? "All sales are final". What the heck am i going to do with 2 different sizes?

Customer service? My 2nd order was received at the beginning of October. I attempted to contact them numerous times since receiving the order and i just received their response today (11/29/12).

I ordered newborn baby clothes on this $@ website in mid october because of the deal they had... what a stupid mistake! Its now 29th Nov and the order is still pending. Last week when I called they said one item was pending, today its 3. A newborn uses the clothes up within a month, I will be delivering within the next couple of weeks and dont think i will have the items by then! The customer service is the worst. Very entitled and were not apologetic that its been this long. They blame the storm, but how long are they going to use that as an excuse - which by the way they never said anything about till I called them - and at that time she was rude - like i should have known they were in edison! Whatever - my mistake for buying with them! If people dont take my review seriously because this is the only one on this site - your loss. Im going to be putting a review on any site that has any info on Totsy!

I am NEVER using this site AGAIN! I bought a pair of headphones for $10. On the checkout page it said the 7.95 for shipping was taken off the $10, so my total was $2.05. I triple checked before I ordered. After I ordered, I check the conformation email and it says $10! I try to cancel and it says all orders are final. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. They told me one price before checkout but charged me more after AND they don't accept cancellation of orders. PISSED OFF.

Well, right now I'm waiting on snowboots and kid shoes that I ordered on the 16th of October that were supposed to be shipped on the 6th of November. I was fine with a wait because 1. That's how you get sales and 2. They said that Hurricane Sandy shut down their customer service. But now it's the 11th and while someone is busily updating the site for Christmas, nobody has access to even email for customer concerns? No update or note on the site about delayed shipping? So you can update your site, but can't update the people whose orders you took/are taking? At this rate, I will end up giving the boots and shoes away because either the season will have passed or my daughter will have outgrown them!

I see other complaints here about customer service not responding and taking three weeks to ship, so I'm not even sure it's about the weather.

This was my first order and I passed up boots for my daughter from Zulily at the same time (my Zulily order (minus boots) arrived ahead of schedule, BTW). I so regret that. I will NOT recommend Totsy to anybody and will be shutting down my account once this is resolved. I'm glad I am not out more than $24 if it never comes. Some deals are not worth the aggravation. Lesson learned.

Oh, and to add to the annoyance, the site continually asks me for validation, but then the field removes the. S in my email address so it's wrong and won't let me in. I have to get in through a link in one of my emails to check the non-status of my order.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago and then today. I have heard nothing about the one 2 weeks ago and today... while checking out... it said my total was 5.50. After I hit submit they added a 7.95 shipping fee. WTF. You dont show one total and then charge more after I submit the order. Total SCAM. I have emailed them but "due to Sandy customer service is closed". I am giving them a week, and then going to the BBB. $7.95 shipping for 3 Yo Gabba Gabba books that cost under $2 each. SCAM! Stay away from Totsy!

I have only ordered from totsy once, and that was too many times! I ordered dress, bath toys and growth chart. When I got my order one of the bath toys was missing and there was no growth chart. It gets worse from there. I emailed zulily and never heard from them (they claimed an email problem). I emailed again and there was no way to prove the description for the bath toy stated three items as they had taken down the description. They claimed many people had problems with the growth charts. I was told to watch my bank statements for the returned money... Eventually I gave up dealing with them over 17.00.

I placed an order on Oct 1st 2012... I called Totsy and was told that they dont ever have the merchandise in their wharehouse so they have to get it first and then ship it... so my order will not be shipped until Oct 23rd. I have ordered many items online and have never had something take so long. Totsy has not taken the money out of my acct yet, but I found out that they allow NO REFUNDS... I emailed Totsy on Oct 15th to make a complaint and only received a "generated email" stating that someone will get back to me within 3 business days, which never happened. I found them on Facebook and placed a post on their page. Which NEVER was answered... looking through the postings, I couldnt believe how many posts on their from customers stating what poor customer service they have. I sure wish I looked on FB before I purchased these items... Im still waiting for my order to be shipped... Im sure not expecting it to be shipped on time from this company. I will never order from them again.

Not worth it

Not worth it. Order took about four weeks to ship. Sent me item in wrong size. I sent e-mail to customer service twice. Never received any response. I have to keep something I cannot use due to someone's error. Not really a deal. I know I can do a lot better elsewhere and will not order from Totsy again. Seriously- don't waste your time.

After placing my order Sep 10th I was told today it would finally be shipping in 2 days which means sometime around Oct 15th or Oct 16th. I was told it would ship over 2 weeks ago. After all this waiting for my children's Halloween costumes I was told one had to be cancelled. I am very angry and I am now scrabbling around trying to find a replacement. If you need something for a holiday or it is time sensitive do not order from Totsy. I would never recommend them to anyone but if you must use them just heed my warning about the time. The shipping is terrible.
