I have a full Google review on this and a filed complaint. Bid2buy uses auction website platforms but lies about payment processes. Etransfers only, contrary to his Hibid website auction details for payment. This so called owner of Bid2buy "Buck"emails me day after and auction. I walked away from an item as it was higher than I would pay. I was outbid, someone else won it. The call next day is offering me that same item, no tax, no premium, no shipping charges. Awesome deal but only if I etransfer. Again, Hibids website requires auctioneers to bill by card. I call the Bid2buy number on Hibids webpage, I will give him my card. "Buck" says he can't access my card in Hibid its illegal... patently false. I advise I am not interested in this offer and the angry emails start one being "After all that?" I call Hibid to complain. They contact "Buck" and more angry emails from Bid2buy directly to me. This guy does not like being told no. From "Buck": " Go away and good luck with your Hibid contact I own this business". I have blocked this irrate irrational person and asked Hibid to ensure they area aware he is a liar and manipulating their terms and conditions. Very unbusiness like and frankly me sending an untraceable etransfer to an auctioneer for an item someone else has already ckearly won online, likely was billed for then its offered to me again? Stinks of fraud, do not wakk away run away from this scammer.

People skills lacking
September 22, 2023

Called me yelling and screaming at me right off the start. I was charged immediately on my credit card with $60 shipping... yelled at me that he was not sending it and hung up on me. Had to dispute the charge.

The owner Buck is a complete $#*!. Did a courtesy call about an item and the guy basically told me to F Off. I was shocked and said, excuse me sir, I'm trying to spend money with you and he responds "yah, yah right, go away". Then I came here and realized he's a constant $#*! to everyone. I don't know how he's still in business selling crappy broken items and being super rude to all his customers. Go ahead, give him a call and ask him a question and you'll get all the information you need in a matter of seconds. Worst experience ever, ANYWHERE.

Poor Customer Service - Do Not Do Business

I recently won an auction and paid for shipping of a glass Aladdin lamp. When I received the package, it was very poorly packaged and everything glass was broken. When I reached out to request a refund, the reply was simply, there's no guarantee on shipping, take it up with the post office. The issue was the packaging, not the shipping. When I asked for a refund I received no response. Their website claims customer service is important. I assure you it's not. What's important is taking money.

Absolutely arrogant and rude person. Doesn't give a rats $#*! about you as a customer. Tells you to pick up at a time and doesn't show up and gives attitude back. Doesn't offer to credit and or ship at his costs based on his mistake. Isn't flexible with pick up times his way or highway. Will never support this guy again and had purchased numerous items before until this last time. Move on to someone else who cares.

Terrible

Absolutely terrible auction service
Lots are not set up clearly, purchased a lot and what I picked up was not at all as shown in the photos. The lot I purchased showed 8 tootsies and 9 quarters. When I picked them up they were only quarters. Ive attatched photos from the actuar lot i bid on. All I received was the quarters. When I called to speak to the auctioneer he immediately hung up on me. Terrible attitude, rude, threatening

Registered to bid, called to ensure shipping was ok. Time comes to bid and. It says " Oops you're not approved for this auction" I phoned to get an explanation twice and left a snarky voice message with no swearing or yelling, because what's the point. Coward finally answers on the third call and says I have a bad review. Guy should be ashamed for the way doesn't respect bidders. Hibid needs to review their auctioneers before it's too late. I'll be calling and emailing them as well.

I see that I am in good company

I purchased an item in the auction that ended on April 20,2022. The pickup date was April 21 - and by that time, some people I volunteer with were testing positive for COVID, so I had to self-isolate. I never tested positive, but I felt pretty sick through much of May. During May, I registered for another Bid2Buy auction and put in my notes to the auctioneer that if I were a successful bidder, I would like to pick up my item from the earlier auction at the same time. I received no response, so I stopped bidding.

Fast forward to another auction ending June 8. I e-mailed Buck to arrange pickup of my earlier item, in addition to any items I won in this auction. He told me he didn't have it - that I should have picked it up earlier. Out of curiosity, I browsed through the listings in his forthcoming auction - and was surprised to find my item listed!

I wrote to him again, pointed out that he did, in fact, have my item, and that I wanted to pick it up this week when I picked up the items that it looked certain I would win. I was the leading bidder on both of them.

The next time I checked, I found that my bids on those two items had been "Declined". When the auction closed, the winning bids on both items were little more than half of my maximum bids.

So, Buck did me out of my earlier purchase, and he shortchanged two additional auction clients. Great service.

This is the only auction company I've had a problem with in 3 years of online auctions.

Went to pick up items. Even having proof of winning lot. Went to pick up and he sold an item from underneath me.
This is the second time I've been burned.
Lady helping him is a wonderful, polite person.
Bucky is not!

I love auctions
December 23, 2021

Bid to buy is very organized. Pick up is very organized. Items are pictured clearly with a good description and measurements. Customer service was excellent. I had a problem with an item and together with Buck we solved it. At the end we were both happy. I have bought items at many of his on line auctions. I look forward to more auctions in 2022. Thank you Buck and staff.

Rude and clueless

As so many other have written, the auctioneer is rude and completely inflexible. Plus his auctions are poorly organized with related items spread across multiple lots. Buyers can't get what they want and sellers are not getting full value for the items being sold. Online photos are poorly lit and may hide obvious flaws.

Not recommended for either buying or selling.

The auctioneer sells broken items and leaves it out of the description and out of the photos. BEWARE
I Bought a vase when i pick up the broken side of vase was not shown i dint notice u till i already left. He purposely did not say it has multiple cracks on the one side He purposely is scamming and ripping people

I don't know about anybody else but I have never met or spoken to a ruder more arrogant person in my life. Who ever runs this outfit has absolutely no people skills. I've been dealing with auctioneers for 40 years and never have I met such an as——-#$%. I can only beg that if your thinking of consigning or buying from an auction that you bypass this guy. Absolutely horrible man.

Bought and paid for an item on auction and sent an Email with shipping address. No reply. Sent three subsequent Emails- no reply. Last Email was marked high priority asking if the Emails were received and finally got back a one word reply- Yes. Item was never shipped so I began calling and on the fourth call Buck answered. I asked when he was planning to ship my item and he claimed he sent it and it was returned because the address was wrong. I sent him the correct address so if it was wrong it was his fault. Then he demanded more money for shipping. Never once did he communicate with me to ask for me to pay for the shipping cost which makes it plainly obvious he never sent the item and I got ripped off.
Stay away because he is everything all the other reviews are saying.

Extremely bad attitude

Inclement weather prevented me from making the pickup, guy called, I told him I'll pay for the items even if I can't pick them up. He said "Don't bother, and don't go on my site anymore" then hung up. Didn't know people were still so angry at the world lol
Don't waste your time supporting this nonsense. He called from *******849
Would go lower than 1 star if possible.

This man is HORRIBLE! He has literally zero customer service skills. I cannot believe he is still in business. If you dare to ask a question you will likely get a reply something like "look, I'm busy, do you want it or not?" I have worked in customer service for decades and I've never once come across a person this rude. I wish I read his reviews before having to deal with him, I would have saved myself the frustration. I only gave 1 star because zero is not an option.
