The delivery occurred on a day of flooding rains and one box was ruined. The mailman never buzzed, because both my wife and I were home.
If it weren't that this vacuum was on back order when I purchased it, I would have received it the very next day after I ordered it. So I had to wait 2 days. When I received it, I tried it and love it. It is lightweight and does its job very well. I hope to get many years service from this vacuum cleaner! Yes. The cord is short but an extension cord takes care of that. After lugging around a Kirby for 23 years, this vacuum is wonderful. All the power minus the heft.
