The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Nice website, with nice prices. They are not the cheapest out there, but I like their brand as well as ability for in-store pickup.
We were looking forward to purchasing our major appliances from Best Buy because of their quality products and established and well-advertised customer service but our experience has cost us many unnecessary hours of frustration. I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with Best Buy's customer service.
First, we tried to place our order online but received error messages directing us to call our order in (please see the attached images). When we called, we were disconnected multiple times (not a result of our connection) during the conversation. Only on the third time my husband was disconnected did the customer service representative call back. He had to call back the other times and explain everything all over again. Because of different reps accessing our order thereby locking it, each new rep he spoke with could not make changes or even access the account. They suggested that my husband go to a store to schedule the installation because they couldn't do it over the phone. He did go to the Long Beach store where they weren't able to confirm the installation date because the install department was closed and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I had to call the next day to schedule the install when they told me they would call and they did not. During that conversation, I was told by a rep that we could use gift cards to pay for the installations but in reality could not. We were also told the dishwasher install would be free but the installer charged us $200 because he had to install a different fitting (which was not specified in the product description nor in the required installation kit).
Next, the stove delivery & install were scheduled for the same day (9/26). We were sent an email the night before showing that the install was scheduled before the delivery of the stove!?!? Because of this mistake, the install needed to be rescheduled for days later causing further schedule changes and inconvenience. We were without a stove for more than 2 weeks.
After notifying Best Buy of these issues, I didn't hear back from anyone for 3 weeks or so. I pressed the issue and received more terrible customer service. I am never shopping with Best Buy again and would advise you not to as well.
I shopped for this TV for wk. S leading up to Blk. Fri. BestBuy had it in stock rather than the back-order runaround fron WalMart. I have not seen it for less anywhere since. NO buyer remorse.
I thought purchasing a large amount of a gift card to purchase an cell phone. Don't do it. Best Buy didn't have the phone requested but they wouldn't give us our money back off the card. I had to purchase something I didn't need or want. The customer service person was awful. I will never do business with them ever. I'm married to a techno nut so they will be losing at least 4000- $6000 a year in electronics and widgets.
Great place to find really good deals on electronic equipment.
I love going to best buy, such a large selection of TVs and other electronics. I mostly go to windowshop now.
Bought a couple of electronics, and as I expected, the product is high quality and better compare to Amazon. Great!
This is an amazing place to shop for your entertainment center needs. I also recommend the warranty as it really pays for itself.
The best selection of TV's and a well informed staff keeps me going back here.
Quite simple shopping process with very good prices, even better than Amazon, love the special black Friday deals.
Amazing deals, you can get a Led Brand of 60 inchs for less than 1K, that is simple better than any other place.
Also their site is really easy to surf and the black Friday deals are simple incredible.
Purchased a bosch dishwasher including installation. No one showed up on the installation date or at the time. I called up after that and was told a manager would call back within 30 minutes. No one called back. Never again
They have the best selection of electronics that you would ever need for a great price. The staff is always helpful and knowledgable.
I love Best Buy. Can't say I buy all my electronics there but we did buy a refrigerator there about a year and a half ago. It failed repeatedly over a six month period though it was a $2000. 00 product. BB replaced it without hassling me and was very easy to work with in the process.
Whenever I need to buy any electronic products I go directly to Best Buy. Their prices are great. How about buying a brand new IPhone 6 for $1? How can you beat that. I have bought many items here and am totally satisfied!
BUYER BEWARE! Save yourself wasted time and effort in dealing with Best Buy's false advertisements and incompetence.
I ordered a "Deluxe Edition" online as stated in my e-mail receipt. Instead, they sent me the standard edition. Turns out, they adjusted their online title and deleted the word "Deluxe Edition." So, fine; let's say it was an title error online. Everywhere online and even the apathetic agent I spoke to on the phone said I could return in-store, but can you believe even the store refused to accept my return!? No offense, but what is this!? This just seems like a fishy scheme to steal your money and say, "Too bad, so sad."
(Best Buy did redeem itself slightly with the 2nd agent I spoke too, who was significantly more friendly and helpful, but I didn't want to waste time mailing the item back after all I went through already and risking any additional, surprise nonsense from this company.)
Please purchase from another store who cares and is actually honest about their advertisements. I can vouch for Amazon, which usually has better prices than Best Buy anyways; Amazon.com's customer service is excellent and efficient. When there were any issues, they'd resolve it ASAP. Honestly, I have no complaints with Amazon, and I've shopped with them for many years.
Never a complaint when shopping here. The customer service are great, the prices are fare and deliveries are exact. No complains whatsoever
On November 27,2015 a great printer for a great price was ordered. Only a few left. Decided too good a deal, ordered 2 more for my daughters. Within an hour, one was cancelled--none in stock. Three (3) days later, second one was cancelled--none in stock. Today, December 10,2015, 13 days later the last one was cancelled; the reason--processing error. I called the store the same day I originally ordered the printers and the store customer service person said the items offered were not available in the local stores and had not been for a while--they (Best Buy) were having difficulty with the online sales because of heavy volume. You would have thought they would have been prepared for the one thing that was exactly what they wanted--HIGH VOLUME!
I tend to go to Best Buy when I need something quickly. It is helpful to be able to go online and then pick up the item I want in store. So while I may not like their prices or their staff at least when I need something quickly I am able to get it. If they could improve the politeness of their staff and make them feel less confrontational that would be great.
Down to there app they have a very well built website! Very easy to use
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
Answer: I dont know? I dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont know
Answer: Write a genuine review for a product you buy from there, get upto $25 gift certificate
