We never received the package. FedEx shows a photo of a house that isn't even OURS. We do not even live in a house! We called, explained the home in the photo is not ours, a quick google search can prove this. They stated after being on hold many times, and an hour later a refund would be made and a confirmation email would be sent within 24hrs. After 3 days and no email, we chatted to see an update to be immediately told no case was ever documented of our call. We were more less called liars by the chat rep, and told to file a police report?! Are you kidding me? So your motto is to lie to your customers saying you're refunding them to get them to go away and hope they never notice? I'm sorry but that's sickening. You stole from your customers, you lied to your customers, your chat rep was a rude, horrendous to us claiming no record, no note, nothing of our call was made. That's beyond messed up business. You've wasted our time, our money, and stole from us. We will not be letting this drop and heard everywhere.
I was going to purchase a MacBook Pro 16" M2 Pro with 512 gigs SSD. When I get to check out I see Upgrade Plus from Citizens Pay. So I explore the option. I applied for the " loan". The application process took me off my Best But app to the website to verify my info. I was redirected back to the Best But app. My purchase no longer showed in my cart. I was at a best But in Attelboro Massachusetts do I asked a floor sales person for assistance. They had no clue as to what Upgrade Plus was.Nor did anyone else in the store. First clue of a problem.
Next I had to call Citizens Pay to ask how to complete my purchase. They had no clue. So after an hour trying to figure it out I gave up and decided to purchase it from Apple directly.
I then get a notice that my order was cancelled. I had no clue the purchase went through.
I then called Citizens Pay again to find out what was the status of my purchase through them and could I purchase using them at Apple. I was informed I could BUT, Best Buy has to release my runs back to them. That was on June 22. Is June 28 and Best But STILL has the money from the cancelled purchase and has not released it and I have NO Laptop.
Best Buy terrible refund accountability is the worst I have ever encountered. Save yourself some time and effort and stay away from any of their financing promotions and be careful with your credit card purchases because they will not release you funds back to you with the same expediency that they take it.
Placed an order for my sons birthday gifts. I received the first order through UPS, but not the second order from FedEx. I tried to live chat for days in a row, could never get ahold of anyone as the wait time kept increasing. I called and was on hold for 18min, total phone call was over 40 I believe. It was incredibly hard to communicate with their customer service, and was told a refund would be made. After I was on hold again, they claimed they had to submit a FedEx claim and it would take days to receive a response back. I was told I wouldn't receive a refund nor replacement, let alone in time for my sons birthday. I do NOT have the funds to repurchase in time for his party, let alone pay double for the same items I did order. I blame Fedex, but I also blame Best Buy for not having its customers backs in this situation. I feel robbed, humiliated I wasted this much time for nothing to be resolved, I really don't know how we are going to recover from this loss. Do NOT order from Best Buy. They don't care about you after they have your money. It's out of their hands.
I needed a needed a new printer. Geek Squad recommended one while sitting in front of my computer and the old printer. I could not use it because I did not have BlueTooth. My brother returned it and got me a different one (both Canon). This one was recommended by the store personnel. It was the crappiest piece of plastic I ever hope to see. It jammed constantly so he tried to return it. Best Buy refused to do anything. My dear brother has wasted hours of his valuable time. He was told to contact Canon for return mailing instructions. I am handicapped so I cannot deal with this by myself. I am now the happy owner of a HP -- from Staples. Next up -- a Canon complaint.
Be cautious, I purchased a open box brand new computer, through BestBuy. It showed up a week late. It a cardboard box wrapped with bubble wrap. They said we their associate gives them a refund, they will put it on my card, it should be two weeks.They would not give me an exchange.
Based on my TotalTech Membership that included delivery, installation and haul-away I purchased a dishwasher. Waited on the designated date and time (took the day off) and they showed up without a technician. Couple of calls later and an oops we are sorry they re-scheduled and I waited again. When the time was up and no-show I called only to be told that the truck broke down and 'didn't i get an email'? No I did not. Another attempt was made to re-schedule but at the last minute the person said that they would only deliver, no installation, I would need to call later and see when a technician might be available. At this point I cancelled the order. Not worth the high BP and missing work. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE.
Do not, DO not, DO NOT under any circumstances buy an appliance from "Best" Buy and expect it to be installed in a timely or professional fashion.
I ordered a dishwasher and microwave from them on May 7--mainly because with the Total Tech annual subscription for $200, installation, delivery and haul-away was free. The earliest delivery and installation date available was May 30. I took it. On May 29, I was informed by text that my delivery and installation for the next day was cancelled.
Okay. It was rescheduled for the next week--June 6. I took off work. The arrival window was between 10 am and 2 pm. At 10:30 am, I received a text indicating that the delivery and installation would need to be rescheduled. I was livid. I called Best Buy and finally got hold of a "customer service" agent. She informed me that the dishwasher was, actually, still on the way. But some worker at the store "forgot" to put the microwave on the truck. (As an aside--the installation guys that day said it happened to three other people on their route that day.)
So, the delivery and installation was rescheduled for today, June 14. I took off work again. Window was 2-6 pm. A delivery truck pulled up promptly at 2 pm. Guy brought the boxed microwave up to my door and asked where he should put it. BEST BUY HAD NEGLECTED TO SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION!
I told him to take the microwave back to his truck, and to bring it back when it could be installed.
Now, the good folk at Best Buy have told me that they will have to wait until tomorrow to call me back to reschedule delivery and installation. So, it will be at least three days I take off work because of their incompetence. What I thought would save me time has cost me much more time than necessary. (Although they have offered me a $75 gift card for my "inconvenience.")
It was a decade since I bought anything from Best Buy and it will be at LEAST another decade before I attempt something like that a

However, despite my repeated requests for proof, the communication from Alan ceased, as Best Buy could not substantiate these claims. This leads me to question why Best Buy has resorted to dishonesty and deception regarding my refund. Are you, Corie, personally involved in this situation with the intention of withholding funds from customers without providing the appropriate refunds?
Since 2021, Best Buy and the individuals involved have failed to respond or provide any evidence that the refund was indeed processed. This lack of transparency raises concerns about the integrity of Best Buy's accounting practices. I am even considering involving the IRS to investigate Best Buy's accounting tactics.
Corie and all those responsible, I implore you to be honest. It is clear that you are hiding behind the Best Buy brand to conceal your misconduct. Allan's statement regarding seeing the refunds raises doubts unless the actual evidence is provided. If necessary, I am prepared to pursue legal action against you for your dishonesty and deception.
I sincerely hope that Best Buy does not engage in practices where customers' money is taken without delivering the promised merchandise and then refusing to provide refunds. To what extent are you willing to force me to take legal measures to retrieve my money, along with any applicable interest, within the boundaries of the law?

Ordered a switch from Best Buy stated delivery date would be the 12th of June 2023 Now its stated Delayed June 25th 2023 called and asked them to cancel the order because the 25th is too late they said they can only cancel 30 minutes after it's ordered.it's not my fault that they can't deliver ontime so I must start a dispute with my credit card company. BEST BUY has extremely poor customer waited over 30 minutes just to talk to a live person I never have problems like this with Amazon
Purchased Eufy 2 camera security system. Installation by outside vendor could not be completed. Took over 1 and 1/2 hours to get date to finish. The so called help people just played musical extensions...switching back and forth claiming the other had to do the scheduling.

I can't say all experiences with Best Buy is as horrible as this store. I am a total tech member but will never go to Best buy again. I was sold the wrong product that I was told was correct as to what I purchased.printer ink. It was not. I went to take it back and exchange unopened and was rudely told to basically suck it and 89. $. I'm not rich. When I got upset he told me to leave his store and escorted out like a shoplifter for trying to make an exchange. I'm requesting upper management review of video footage because this was unacceptable in any way. I was also told by Marshall and rude employee it's not their job to get correct items for anyone. It took me six cumulative hours on the phone in order to simply place an order due to a website glitch. Several customer service agents had no idea what to do, and either hung up on one me or sent me to other automated phone service goose chases. Then once I ordered the items, the items were changed from deliver to pick up. And then following that, the items were not available to arrive at the advertised time. I was then told I can alternatively, cancel the order, than go to the store and buy and that it was available at a location. It was not available. I have spent more than a days work trying to complete a purchase and ended empty handed. They have no in store customer service, and its all outsourced to South Asia via phone call. However the representatives have no ability to escalate to a management within the United States and have severe limitations in being able to help.
Never thought I'd enjoy earbuds this much. Got these WobbleTech Wireless Earbuds from Best Buy last week, and they've become my constant companion. The site was easy to navigate, and checkout was smoth. They delivered it in just three days, pretty impressive.The sound quality is really top-notch, and the battery life is very good. I've been using them while running, commuting, you name it. The noise cancellation is good too, just enough to keep the world at bay. Solid purchase.
I bought a stereo, speakers, amp and subwoofer from Best Buy last December. I could not get an appointment until February. I have since been back 4 times and the system still does not work. Last time I took it in they said it was the amp. They replaced it and it now sounds awful. All the speakers never work at the same time. There is a whistling and static from the speakers. The volume will not go up loud enough to be heard while driving on the highway. I do not have a difficult vehicle. It is a Jeep wrangler. I would not recommend any one go to them for stereo installation.

Best Buy Miami Beach: the WORST shop I have ever been. Empty shelves, demos that do not work and the "blue$#*!s" good for nothing. Buy somewhere else.
Ordered and paid for washing machine. Waited one month for delivery date. After waiting all day, 12 hour time line, machine never came. Went to door, found, sorry we missed you note on the door. They never knocked on door and avoided cameras with alerts. They purposely did this. Called to complain and met with hostility. They offered to set up new date, three weeks from now. Going tomorrow to get my refund. Will never do business with them again
We purchased a computer for my daughter at the Bronx NY Best Buy on W. 230th St. In January. We also purchased the Total Tech plan with it. Her screen broke in April and we took it in for repair. It had to be sent back to the Lenovo company for repair. We got the computer back in a week and that same day she was unable to work on it because there were lines appearing on the screen. We brought it back in for service, and apparently this time they replaced the motherboard. The same day we received it, the camera didn't work and she wasn't able to do her face ID.
We brought it in a third time and at that time I demanded a store credit. That was last week and the manager at the time, as well as the technician, both assured me that because this was the third time it was being sent in for repair the computer would be junked out, and I would be issued a store credit within the week. They said it would be an expedited process. When a week went by, I called the customer service number and apparently they are waiting for a part on back order. I said no way I was told it would be junked out and I would get a store credit. The customer service person said if I go into the store they can override that repair and issue a store credit. I am now waiting after speaking to a manager at the store who says he cannot do that until he has the item in hand. How long will that take?
It is the worst customer service ever. For the last month we have had the computer 1 to 2 days and it has not worked. It makes no sense that they just cannot issue me a store credit now. It would only help them since obviously I have to spend my money back in the store on another computer. The Total Tech plan does not help with customer service.

Recently purchased 19k worth of bestbuy products. Sony camera, lens,LG appliance entire kitchen, microwave,Range, dishwasher, refrigerator, 86" LG, Sonos everything and Ring alarms. Went to purchase alexa echo and ask to make sure this will go under my total tech as well. Was informed non of my things were coverd anymore. Mind you i used a bestbuy card for some of my purchases. We had no emails, alerts, calls, or no notification of any sorts to informs us that total tech payments was due. Staff wasnt trying to help us at all. Could even give us an ansewer or any help. On top of that the day of delivery they took my appliance to another location and then came with a Damaged refrigerator.
Went into the Best Buy at the Vernon Hills location and it was splendid. I needed help choosing a gaming brand and the associate guided me towards SteelSeries.

Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
