I Tried to call the store. They do not take phone calls. Spoke to generic person in middle east. They refused to get me the manager of the store I bought the refrigerator in.

I was told if I wanted to talk to a manager I would have to go into store. I went into store and spoke a manager who indicated that the 3rd party delivery company did not change handle because it was not on the SKU and they could not bill for it - so they may have just discarded the parts.

The store manager got a second refrigerator ordered and delivered correctly.
When Delivery company called to get my satisfaction - I told them exactly how it was. I was very upset and don't have to be nice at this point. I was told it's not their problem and that I have to talk nice to them - I was really upset at this point. The delivery company's manager left me a message. When I returned his call shortly afterward, he had no idea who I was even though he had just called me. I told him exactly what I thought. He became very defensive and righteous about how I can't talk to a manger like that.
Also, I was still receiving emails and text about upcoming Geek Squad appointments for a week.
I am not sure who thinks that the business model where you can't call the store is a good idea but it's not! That reeks of horrible customer service ethics. You have lost myself and my family as customers. I would welcome a call from a Best Buy Executive (not some secretary or assistant) and from this Diacom Logistics who think they rule the delivery word.
We've purchased more than one kitchen appliance from Best Buy-owned Pacific Sales. Pacific Sales used to be a great business. Best Buy has destroyed it. Our latest experience is requesting service from Best Buy's Geek Squad for a dishwasher we bought with a 5-year extended warranty. Best Buy made the appointment, sent us a confirmation and within hours I received a phone call from a subcontractor wanting to change the agreed-upon time. I agreed to the somewhat later time frame and waited around on the appointed day only to have the subcontractor not show up. When I called them they said the appointment was scheduled for a week later! I'd never have agreed to it. I have conflicting appointments and can also not be without a dishwasher for 2 weeks. I tried to get a "supervisor" at Best Buy on the phone. After 1+ hour waiting (which actually was a stall tactic by the "agent" and being put on hold, I was transferred to another "agent" who wanted to start from the beginning. Are they kidding? I then agreed to have the "supervisor" call me back. That was two days ago. Glad I didn't hold my breath waiting. If forced Toby another appliance from Best Buy, I will definitely NOT purchase another extended warranty from the business.

Pre ordered ps5 on 8/31 it has not shipped and do not know when it will ship as of 9/13. I ordered the same ps5 on 9/13 and it will arrive on 9/16. I am doing this as a test to see if I get the one I ordered later before the one I pre ordered.
Once upon a time, this was a great company. But now, their customer service has plummeted to terrible, their schedulers have no clue what they are doing, and supervisors clearly don't care to do their jobs.
I recently ordered new kitchen appliances. I used my Best Buy Visa card. I had the date scheduled for delivery and installation on July 12. I received texts to complete a pre-installation checklist, which I did. Everything was on track.
Then, the morning of my delivery, I received a call from a Best Buy scheduler, who stated the truck "was broken down on the side of the road," and the delivery would need to be rescheduled. I informed her that I had my old appliances already scheduled to be picked up, and my new ones must be installed within the next few days. She said she would get it rescheduled according to my needs.
After I hung up with her, the installer called. He informed me that the truck was in the shop waiting on a brake part.
What?!?
The installer's truck was not broke down on the side of the road. It had been waiting for days for a brake part in their shop, and he said Best Buy knew they should have never scheduled me for that day.
I will try to keep the rest of this short. The next two days were absolutely the most aggravating and stressful experience I have had with a company. The scheduler refused to return my calls. I spoke with literally a dozen people with Best Buy's "customer service" line. I also went to my local store twice to speak with the manager.
Ultimately, I did receive my appliances, one week later, where I had to delay the pick-up of my old appliances (which caused a massive headache). However, the store manager had promised me a gift card for my trouble, and so far, the company is refusing to provide it. I also completed a survey immediately after the installation, where I requested a call from a representative. That was two months ago as of this posting, and no one has bothered to call me.
This experience is absolutely the worst I have ever had with a company. (And I have left out MANY MANY details for the sake of time.)
To Best Buy: I am NEVER doing business with you again! Once my appliances are paid off, I will cancel my Visa card with you.
To anyone reading this: DO NOT RELY ON BEST BUY to keep their promises! You will regret it.
Best Buy has been giving my rewards to my son for 9 months. I have contacted them over 20 times, waited on hour long holds. I finally got a hold of someone who is working on it since the beginning of May. It is now September. They keep telling me I have to be patient. Every time I call, they are "close" to fixing it t. They transferred my points once and now they told me to wait they will transfer them when they get it "fixed". I finally told them I am done. I will be paying off my credit card and closing it since they are so incompetent that it takes them 9 months to fix a problem.
We are going though a medical and financial hardship and I was paying our bill I thought on time per the online statement but they said the due date was not correct and charged us over $100 in late fees. Do yourself a favor and buy from someone else!
Some nice people on the way, but a lot of headache. A simple question. Can I use our business tax exempt number without the original email. They said call and ask. I did. The said yes but you must order over the phone and then email to get a refund. I did and emailed. They replied and said my email did not match the email on file so I had to go through the processes for tax exempt for the new email. After explaining I needed that answer in the first place they said that they will allow it this one time.
But then they shipped one package to me and the other two to GA. (i live in Ohio) they cancelled the packages then sent me new ones.
Then the knew ones were over three weeks late and wile I was out of state for several weeks.
I finally arrived home and put the TVs up. One worked and the other was broken.
The online chat could not do anything because it was pass the 15 day return policy (again I did not receive them in time and could do nothing about it) they told me to call. The folks on the phone were nice but could not resolved and said a manager would call. It has been a week and no one has called.
I did received a refund for the extremely late packages. But I just want the tv lol. Target has a better deal now so it is working out but after bad service before (should have learned my lesson), I prob am done with best buy for a long wile.
Is ridiculous that Best Buy Online will not accept Major Credit Cards. They only offer Best Buy Visa, Best Buy MasterCard etc. Walmart, Amazon, Target, MS Store.all take oersonal payment.
If you find yourself at a Best Buy Texas location be prepared to be treated like an idiot, an assshole, or worse, a potential thief. They are rude, hateful and downright lazy employees that will treat you like a waste of time.
So the in store friendly ness is good but at the geek squad they look at it for only like a few minutes then tell you that it's going too need diagnostic and that's like 100 bucks and that's not even guarantee they will find the issue
Do not buy the total tech program. This Best Buy, Salas associate, sold me the total Tech program under false information. Besides claiming that I could have my electronics fixed no matter what happened to it they did not inform me that there is a $99 deductible. In addition they did not explain that the total tech program it's not necessarily to physically repair the item, but that it is to call and get Remote support. The total tech program is essentially a scam in addition the program automatically renews after the first year. When I brought my laptop in for repair, the geek squad manager was incredibly rude and when I asked to talk to the store manager, he was additionally rude to me. I used to feel like Best Buy was my go to electronics store for major purchases, such as computers however, after this experience, I will never purchase another product from this company.
DO NOT SHOP HERE! I placed an online order and it was a guaranteed delivery date. When it did not show up I called Best Buy. They said to call their carrier "Roadie" I was on hold for 90. Minutes with them, Roadie said that they "put the job out" but no one took it so it was canceled.The item was still at Best Buy. I spent another 2 hours on hold with Best Buy they said, yes the order was not picked up and we cannot do anything about it, wait 3 days then call us back and then we can submit it for another carrier to deliver. They refused to let me cancel they kept the order on hold and charged my credit card, they refused to connect me to a supervisor. PLEASE BEWARE OF BEST BUY!
I got the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse from Best Buy. Great mouse with customizable buttons and smooth scrolling. However, it's a bit pricey.

I bought a new HP computer at Best Buy 4 months ago and just last night wanted to insert a disc in the disc drive, but THERE IS NO DISC DRIVE. The outline for the door is there, but no way can it be opened. When I called Best Buy this morning I was told most computers now do not include disc drive. He said of all the computers in their store today, only 3 have disc drive. I had 2 choices...an external disc drive for $20,00 or they could install one for $65.00. Of course, I took the external cause I don't want to do without while they alter mine. I suggested it would be a courtesy on their part to at least warn prospective customers. Hope this helps you!
My printer wouldn't print, so the first agent did a remote session, and after tons of clicks, removed my printer from listed devices on my computer and then abruptly ended the session, so the second agent argued with me regarding what my printer was (though she couldn't see it) and finally put in back on the list of devices on my computer, but then put me on hold for a long time and then ended the remote session...leaving the printer without a driver to make it work.
If I was computer savy, I wouldn't have to pay for the Geek Squad!

Everytime I am calling customer services, they keep forwarding my calls to different personals and nobody has any record of previous discussions.
Latest, they wrongly installed my washer dryer and left me a malfunctioning washer which I loaded with my clothes only to find out it was not working properly. Now I stuck with all my dirty clothes inside it and when I called customer services, they advised me to watch random you tube videos and reinstall the washer ( brand new) by myself or wait for two weeks more or pay them again for urgent appointment! All these advises coming after they made me take their total take membership!
Best Buy only gives their customers BEST Harassment once the Purchase is done, and paid.
I had gone through much more pain than I could even describe in this small box of review.
Do not ever BUY FROM BEST BUY...save yourself from these frauds.
After filing a complaint with the BBB, Best Buy corporate support contacted me and reimburse me $50 to my credit card to make up for the issues of me never getting my $28 gift card to make up for the damage. They were very nice and helpful, but I should not have had to file a complaint with the BBB to get to someone that could help me.
I ordered a TV online. It was damaged in shipping. A chunk of the polarizing screen was stabbed in shipping causing a large pin point of white light on part of the screen. I called best buy the next day and described the issue. I was told I could exchange it or since it was just small damage but still usable, I could instead have a partial refund. I chose the partial refund. Based on the cost I paid they offered me $28. They said it would be on a physical gift card which would be mailed and would take 4 weeks to receive. I never received the gift card. I called and was told even though they have in their computers that I call and they recorded the damage, they had no note about a gift card and since it was now past a month I could do nothing. They know I called. They know there was damage and since I didn't exchange it clearly something else had to happen. Why would I just keep a damaged TV. They just basically said well it's over a month now, so tough luck. They sent me a damaged TV, lied to me about sending me a partial refund that would magically take just enough time to get to my house that it would be too late for me to do anything else after waiting. I have the order # and I have the ticket # from when I first called a day after receiving the damaged TV when I was promised the gift card. They don't care. They know what happened but did nothing. They lied and stalled so I got stuck with a damaged TV and now they get to keep all my money. Crooks!
Bought (3) THREE printers they recommended. NONE of them work. If this is their best, don't buy. They don't know what they are doing.
Working with Total tech overseas is a night maire. You try to call the store after being told to call the store and the extention number to be bounced to overseas and states the store isn't taking calls. My last few deliveries and installs were a night maire. The same item since the beginning of May needed to be replaced. The third party never showed up or called after waiting all day for them to arrive. The second time for third party to pick up the item and stay home all day no show, the truck broke down. The third time out the new product was defective. Now today the fourth time for delivery, then just dropped off the new item, never installed it and left half the part to the old defective product at my home. The the issue with the lap top. I told the employee 3 times my password. Then I get a call from Best buy "You forgot to leave your password to call the store at this extension. You call and bouced overseas and told the store isn't taken calls. Then 30 mins away, you drive down to the store to give the password. Then told we are all good. I drive back home to get a call from best buy your lap top is ready. I had to go back the next day to pick up something that was already fix and never told, when standing there in person. I suggest just by the product with no tech service or buy it somewhere else

Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
