They always miss the shipping dates. Pickup orders process is nightmare. It's faster to go to the store and buy the product from the shelves.
They will be changing the name to 'WORST BUY' soon. Shameful GREED, to lure customers to purchase things, one does not need. And then to not be able to return it even if it has never even been opened within the 4 days over the return policy, with a real life catastrophe. Even refuse to give store credit, so we can make a purchase later. Insecure about their sales, therefore the must force customers to pick something we dont really need the same day. Pathetic!
I'm an Elite Plus member, so I have free expedite shipping and processing. They are awesome when good deals come along or when I need some things fast. I prefer Best Buy to Amazon actually. Their phone customer service sometimes sucks, but I rarely need it.
I ordered a casserole dish on Ebay, paid for it and went on my way. The next day I received an email that my order was cancelled. I called Ebay to find out why and was s informed that Best Buy no longer had this item in stock. Ebay checked and Best Buy had relisted the exact same item. So I called Best Buy to find out why and long story short a customer service representative placed an order for me for this item. Unfortunately, again the item was out of stock. Apparently, this isn't something that a customer service representative should know as she told me the order was placed. Waited for two weeks and of course my order never arrived. Too many phone calls, too many hoops to jump through to spend your money here. The Supervised, Journey, was unsympathetic and could have cared less. Can't tell you much time I spent trying to resolve this issue... save yourself the trouble.
I HAVE BEEN THE VICTIM OF BEST BUYS GEEK SQUAD! AFTER TAKING MY IPHONE IN FOR A SIMPLE RESTORATION, UPON LEAVING THE STORE ASSUMING THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED AND THIS WOULD BE THE END OF STORY. AFTER A TOTAL OF 6 WEEKS I WAS FRIGHTFULLY EMAILED THAT SOMEHOW THE GEEK SQUAD HAD MERGED MY APPLE ICLOUD TO THE BEST BUY STORES APPLE MACBOOK! THEY HAD ACCESS TO ANY AND ALL OF MY PERSONAL AND BUSINESS INFORMATION VIA ICLOUD! THEY EVEN WENT AS FAR TO SAY THEY COULD EVEN SEE MY FACETIME CALLS! I THEN BECAME FURIOUSLY SUSPECT AS TO WHY YOU GUYS HAVE WAITED 6 WHOLE WEEKS TO INFORM ME OF THIS HORRIFIC SITUATION! I THEN STATED TO THEM THEY HAVE BEEN A CYBER VOYEUR INTO MY PRIVATE FACETIME VIDEOS FOR ALMOST ONE MONTH AND A HALF! THEY HAD NO SINGLE EXPLANATION OF THIS CYBER BREACH / INVASION OF PRIVACY! FOLLOWING THIS I WAS TOLD THE MACBOOK HAD BEEN ON THE STORE FLOOR OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE TO THE EMPLOYEES AND POSSIBLY CUSTOMERS AS WELL! NO CONSUMER PRIVACY OR CONFIDENTIALITY WAS UPHELD. SO TO THIS DAY THERE IS AN UNMEASUREABLE AMOUNT OF STESS, UNCERTAINLY AND THE EXTENSIVE BREACH OF PRIVACY! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE BEST BUY EXECUTIVE REPRESENTATIVE DISPLAYED AN INEXCUSABLE LACK OF CONCERN BY STATING HE DOES NOT BELIEVE THE BREACH OF PRIVACY WAS AT ALL A POSSIBILITY. SO WHEN I ASKED HIM IF THAT BE THE CASE WOULD BEST BUT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILTY IF THE EVENT THAT HE WAS WRONG AND HE REPLIED NO! HE DIGUSTINGLY STATED NO! BEST BUY WOULD NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY! THEREFORE, LEAVING ME VULNERABLE TO ANY AND ALL FUTURE CONSEQUENCES!
I have had one of the worst experiences in dealing with any company ever! We purchased a security system. It didn't work from the start and I spent many hours on the phone trying to get it fixed. Talked to many, many people. Finally, John from install (3rd party)who originally installed it was supposed to come out from 8-12 on Friday. He never showed... again, despite getting confirmations day before from Best Buy. This is after a month of frustration and this was our last attempt. I think most of the problem was with the 3rd party installation company that they contract with Best Buy. It was a terrible experience. Best Buy and Install does not communicate... and install is the worst! We are requesting our money back! Horrible experience!
Horrible Customer service. I have to throw away a $5000. 00 TV. The only thing the store manager David at Spring meadows in Holland Ohio had to say was Unfortunatly, and we can't. Well David I can't do business with a company such as this.

This is about the state college pa store store #369 1650 N atherton street I have a camera that is not working properly I have the extended service plan I waited in frot of customer service for 10 minutes before anyone even knew that I was there it was about 2 in the afternoon. The young man who came to help me insisted that all I needed was a new battery for $50 I said that getting a new battery would not help the poor quality of picture I was getting. He said well i guess you could exchange it for a new camera. I picked one out and when he tried to ring it up he said that he needed a manager to help but there was none in the store that knew how to handle broken cameras. I was there about 45 minutes and finally left since no one could help me. I tried calling customer support but they said just go back to the store. I asked for the regional manager's name but they did not have it and when I tried calling the store no one answered I have purchased many items from this store but I am not sure if I would be going back
By the time they added up the $100 radio harness, the $80 wires that made the channels change via the steering wheel, w/Sirius/XM radio receiver ($42) and with labor, my $400 radio ended up being priced to me for $800. I told them they were out of their minds and left!
Then I called Crutchfield and they actually picked up their phone! The sold me all my wiring and harnesses. They threw in all the stuff needed to mount new speakers and sold me the speakers. At BB they tried to charge me for everything they could think of. Why does BB.com insist I call the store TO DISCUSS the purchase and installation of a car stereo? But then when I call the store they refuse to answer. Do you see the wicked circle?
I ended up buying the radio and XM tuner from BB. Installation was free at BB but the speakers, discussion of installation, and all the wiring harnesses were purchased elsewhere. The Geek Squad said they liked how easily my speakers snapped in with the mounts Crutchfield gave me.
Best Buys literally loses millions yearly because they don't know how to sell their merchandise and refuse to answer their phones! I literally watched the phone ring off the hook. They simply refuse to answer the phones!
Best Buys corporate doesn't realize all the money they lose by not answering the phone. Money is calling but they are not equipped to answer. As a salesman, I can't tell you how frustrating that was to watch.
I edited and bumped it up a star because the guys in the garage were good at doing their job.
I placed a $4600. 00 order with Best Buy, they gave me a delivery date for the new T. V. & all seemed good.
The next day they send an email saying the T. V. mount will be delayed, ok things happen. The next day with in 1 minute of two of the items in this order being delivered, they sent an email & said the delivery date would have to be changed with no explanation. Best Buy has taken this approach since they hit a lull, they will advertise availability & once the order has been billed or partially delivered they change the delivery to fit their needs, or they don't have availability & tell you that they do so you will place the order. Sad state of affairs for what used to be a decent company! I will never make another purchase of any kind from Best Buy! I have been a Platinum member for the last 8 years, way to chase your loyal customers away.
Don't ever purchase anything for Store Pickup! It's a disaster! I tried and spent a full day on trying to rectify the mess Best Buy Created! Time to go on to Best Buy Corporate!
Overall, I am okay with the service. My mobile phone was delivered on time and the price was reasonable (cheaper than in an ordinary store).

I search for good discount offers to buy wherever I need, then I look into this website but it was never disappointed me because I got best discounts.
Never Trust them, they either wont ship and keep everything it will come broken or something like this, i made this mistake already 2 times.
I purchased 3 Appliances. One being a dishwasher that came with a free plumbing package.
They could not install the dishwasher the same day as the other appliances due to special plumbing needs.
Set up an appointment to finish the work. Not here as promised, did not call. Spent 3 hrs getting to the bottom of the issue, still not resolved. Beware
I try to buy today Feb 24,2018 an Ipad Pro 12.6" with 64GB or 256GB and BestBuy in hole Canada. They do not have any of them on any color since long time ago and they have a long waiting list to deliver. So how can they advertise so many products, and they do not have any of this and they do not know when they will have some.
This is not make sense particularly when you have a Best Buy gift card and need one of those iPad Pro 12.6".
To bad for Best Buy as a high tech supplier on this kind of devices.

I ordered and item online for my apple computer. Best Buys online ordering system withdrew the money from my account and then never updated the order. I had to cancel and purchase in person. I normally never shop at Best Buy for this very reason. Use Amazon instead.

Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
