Bought my son a computer for Christmas. Within 90 days of purchase, the IBuyPower machine stops working. We call Best Buy and they tell us to bring the machine in for service. On arriving, they tell my wife they don't service that machine and we would have to buy a $200 extended warranty then they would look at it. I get on the phone with the so-called manager and he says there's nothing they could do to try to help except collect the $200. They do not stand by their service and leave you at the mercy of the manufacturer instead of standing behind their products and making the customer service quality. Avoid using this company, they are a service contract bully. I will go with Amazon or Costco next time.

Very disappointed. As u can see item is marked this price but at register it comes up 69.00. Now these items are all behind ticket black and white sets about 10 boxes behind this price actually there are no items next to it for 69.00. Why when I get to register price changed? Oh they have not updated there tickets. Not fair to me that's price you are advertising what do I get instead... I get a manager who is rude and rather argue with me and make excuses up. Really this is how u handle customers do u not have any customer service. If you do not want customers upset then don't advertise false and don't argue with them
Extremely worst service from bestbuy. Extremely worst delivery service. The delivery person just left my expensive apple watch in some other location and picture he posted doesnt even match my address/building. The delivery person didnt even get a signature. They work with extremely poor delivery service companies. Bestbuy said it will take weeks/months to give a replacement. They dont even have mechanisms to track their delivery. The customer service is not able to offer any solution at all. After talking for 1 hour the customer service just cancelled my call. There is no way to escalate this situation or get the money back. Bestbuy takes its own time to investigate and I dont even know if I will get a replacement. It is very risky and unreliable to buy at bestbuy. I will never order anything from bestbuy again. Really surprised to see such an awful service by a big company like bestbuy.
I generally consider BestBuy's delivery time as really reasonable. I will be shopping from them again.
If you have a bad product and the return policies which they have is pretty tight. I would still prefer Amazon or Costco if the price is same or even marginally less in Bestbuy.
I am not going to buy anything again from Best Buy. Very very poor order and delivery status! I received a message 16 hours ago that my order was ready for pick up in one hour! I went to pick it up 6 hours later and was informed it was not at the store yet! Six hours later it is not there yet... I called and was told on a recorded message it was on its way- 2 hours ago. Very very dissatisfied with Best Buy...

Made a appointment to get my new tv installed and today came and no total tech people.
Called best buy after 25 minutes of waiting get connected with a guy out of Pakistan i guess cant hardly understand him.

So made another for next week told him i was going to return tv and cancel total rip off not total tech lol
I will cancel my total tech after they install this tv.

WORST NIGHTMARE EVER! Drop off my camera for repair under warranty I bought when purchased my camera in 2019, drop off to store and signed it over to them on Nov 14,2021. It's now January 2022! No updates on repair or where My camera even is. LOST?! 9 trips up to the local store with no responds or solutions to fix or update me. Last the store manager can only see is was received by their repair center on Nov. 20th, 21. Total of 6 calls and 8 hours later to corp office They say can't help me either and clearly don't know what to do! They have NO phone number to the repair store to give me, no address to give, and no updates and no higher person to speak with! No solution. Been going in circles for 3 weeks! To the point this evening the corp person I was speaking to told me they were closing and I'd have to now call back again in the morning after being on the phone for 1 hour 38 mins and he had to go! I'm furious and upset and sad! That I've got no where and they have literally lost a 3k camera! WOULD NEVER GIVE BEST BUY YOUR BELONGINGS! They apparently have such a bad tracking system they can't give me nothing to help with this! Sad when even a manager and a corp supervisor are lost for words but still no solution! Literally sending email to local news for HELP to get refunded my camera that they have clearly LOST it!
My wife came in to best buy and wanted to purchase 2 pairs of samsung earbuds from then but she specifically asked the sales employee if she could exchange them if they're defective. Employee said yes without any issues even though the sale was through samsung but had to be picked up at that best buy location. She asked before the purchase and when she picked both pairs up, one of them were defective so she went back to best buy to exchange them for another pair and manager said that we would have to go through samsung. Manager said that we will train their employees better on the policies and simply apologized. This is the last time we will be shopping there. The worse experience to date.
On 12/10/2021, I ordered a Samsung electric range and cord for Best Buy in Yuma, AZ for $850. I only placed this order after being guaranteed that it would be delivered on 12/23/2021. I received several emails stating that my order was on the way. On 12/23/2021, I received a call from Best Buy and was told that they did not have my range, didn't know where it was or if it would ever come? I panicked and went to the store. I was then told by a Manager that they didn't know what happened and had canceled the order. I was told that I would receive a refund in one (1) business day for the range and that the cord had to be placed back into stock for me to get a refund. I went home livid. Then I started doing research on Best Buy's return policy and learned that it actually takes 7 to 10 business days. I panicked because I needed this money for Christmas. I called Best Buy's customer service department 3 times and was told everything from I canceled the order which I did not, Chase debit cards don't work at Best Buy (they had no problem withdrawaling the funds), to if you are that unhappy sir, shop somewhere else. I reported the situation to Chase who is going to resolve the issue for me. Bottom line, if you buy from Best Buy and have an issue, Good luck, they are not going to help! I will NEVER shop there again
I had ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy and when it came, it had a large dent on the side. After speaking with the delivery men, they called a Best Buy agent who confirmed that I would get a $75 refund added back to my credit card. They said I would receive a call from an agent in a couple of days. I never did so I called customer service. After running through the situation with them, they confirmed that I would get the $75 refund back on my credit card and that I would see it in my next billing cycle. Instead, some weeks later, I received a gift card. I don't want a gift card. I see this as making me spend more money on Best Buy products instead of giving me back my money that I spent on their defective product. So, I called customer service again. I had to re-go over my situation several times for something that should be pretty simple. I want the money refunded to the credit card that I used instead of a gift card. After wasting a lot of time on this, I was told that they could cancel the gift card and that I would receive a call within 24 hrs regarding my credit card refund. Knowing how this went last time (someone promising me that I would receive a call and then never receiving it), I asked for a phone number I could call if I didn't receive the call or a complaint ID I could have for tracking purposes. I didn't want to lose the $75 I currently had. Instead, they hung up on me. Wow... I have never had such an unprofessional encounter with a big retailer before. Will never shop at Best Buy again.
I ordered a treadmill from bestbuy.com. They committed to delivery on Dec 2. I canceled appointments to be at home during the 12 - 8pm window. I called. They said it was coming. Online portal said it was coming. No show. Scheduled again for Dec 22. Same story happened AGAIN. These guys have a serious process failure. I canceled the order after they stood me up twice.

No reps, no supervisors will take account for their problems that this big chain store has. You will never see your money again! I went throug 24 people from reps, to supervisors, to waiting on hold for along time to get hung up on a few times, to finally getting an email stating I will not get a refund even though it was an employee of Best Buy who wrote my address wrong for my item to be delivered. They will blame UPS and also you for what went wrong. I will never ever ever shop at this place again, and I will make sure I will let my family and friends know as well.
I will never see $4,000 worth of items I've ordered that I needed. As they closed the investigation when I asked months ago to fix the problem to be escalated. Nothing was done.
My items were delivered to the wrong address and yet they want me to call local authorities to get a STOLEN item. The item was not stolen, I have proof it was delivered to the wrong address. I have coordinated with their customer service but the experience was horrible. Why would I call local authorities for the wrong delivery? Worst they keep insisting to call local authorities. I have provided proof but they won't accept it and insisted it was stolen.
This is probably worst customer experience I can imagine. They put me on hold three different times for about an hour until eventually they just hung up. My tv was supposed to be delivered over an hour ago. Trying to check the order status online was not helpful either. Terrible UI and experience. What a joke of a company.
Bestbuy customer service is the worst. The technician had me waiting from 12:00 noon to 7:00pm and never showed up. Someone called me after 7:00 pm and said that my product wasn't available for pick up. This's the product that I have paid for three weeks ago. I'm very disappointed in bestbuy service.
Ordered installation, LG TV and wall mount. The wall mount was to delivered two days after the order a week before installation. Wall mount never showed up. It's December 7th. It still hasn't shipped. I canceled everything else on the day of installation. The installers showed up for hours early then scheduled. Try to call them. No response. Called customer support. They said they would be there at 4:00 at their scheduled time. 4:30 no show. I look online in my order has been rescheduled because there's no TV available. I was not contacted. I contact support again. They said they had rescheduled cuz there's no TV I said. How's that possible? They had a TV for me earlier in the day. She calls them and said it's broken. The next TV's not available. Probably for a month. Worst company ever. Still haven't received my wall mount and now credit card wants to charge me. Please go to Amazon
Absolutely terrible experience. Had this new range ordered in advance for delivery, got confirmation of appointment, all set.
On the day of delivery they cancelled the appointment, didnt call/no notification, when i called back, i spend 2 hours trying to figure out and the best solution they could offer was to reschedule in 2 weeks time! Wtf. I removed my existing range to make way for the new one and now i have nothing...

Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
