Has gone Downhill

The Shari's Berries that were sent to my mom were delivered 1 week AFTER Mother's Day and they were over ripe. Also the chocolate did not cover all of the strawberries. The cold pack was completely warm and the chocolate was starting to melt. We received a second delivery of Strawberries 1 week later and these were just as bad as the first batch. Once again they were melting and the cold pack was warm. Some of the strawberries even had mold on them. I'm not sure what has happened to Shari's Berries but we won't be ordering from them again.

I placed an order, only to get a confirmation that it will be delivered a month later than what I chose. I called customer service and tried to explain the situation over the sound of chickens cackling in the background.

I was assured that the date was changed and I'd get an email confirmation.

Crickets...

I called back to cancel and was told that I should expect a refund for the order in one to two billing cycles...

Same chickens. Perhaps they should eat the crickets.

Average rating of 1 and 1/2 stars and people still buy them! My experince with them rated even lower! I think customers need to be a little more wary of where they spend their money!

Ordered a $50 package for dear friends, to be delivered for a strategic special occasion. The package did not arrive by the intended date. I gave it 2 more days. Still no arrival. I called and a man who spoke poor English and with a difficult dialect answered. It took us 30 minutes to dialogue in order for him to understand the problem and how to solve it. He reordered our gift and said it'll be there by May 16th. May 17th, still no package. (Ugh). I called again, a lady answered who spoke a little more English but still a foreign dialect. I get it, these people are just trying to make a living and feed their families. I empathize with that. But c'mon on.

And yes, we're just coming off COVID. Okay.

So I reordered the package a second time. She said it'll be there by May 20th.

Today is May 21st.

I'm "out" 50 bucks because I don't even want to call back again.

I tried 3 times.

Done.

My order was on a truck for 3 days and not delivered on time or at all by the time I called customer service and a lady who said her name was April argued with me and told me there was nothing she could do. I asked for a manager and she put me on hold multiple times over a 20 minute period. Will never order from them again. I can't believe they are telling me they don't have managers available and are refusing to address my complaint.

Placed an order five days before Mother's Day to have 2 dozen strawberries delivered to my mom and wife and come Mother's day my wife received hers after 7p.m. And my mom never received hers despite a email confirmation that it was delivered. Called customer service and all he said was that shouldn't of happened (no kidding!) Then offered 50 percent off to have delivered the next day, so I agreed and he put me on hold for 5 minutes only to come back and say he couldn't guarantee that. I said forget it, give me a full refund and I will never use Shari's Berries again! Felt so bad for my mom as I could not visit because of Co-vid and then to have a lot of love never delivered but quick to take my payment.

Do not order from this company. Ordered on 5/3 a dozen strawberries for Mother's Day, paid extra to have them delivered either 5/9 or 5/10. Was over charged on my order, did get that money back. Delivery attempt was made but when I called to find out when delivery would be remade was on hold for over an hour several times and finally got a call back on Monday 5/11. Told the tea hip ent could be set to arrive 5/19 and that the redelivery fee would be waived. Then receive a tracking number that the order will arrive 5/14. Only to find out the delivery is back to 5/19.
Delivery finally arrived to be inedible. And their answer is we will send out new ones, no requested full refund.

Worst company ever

They were a day late in delivery and delivered melted soggy berries to my mother on mothers day. Customer shrives was un responsive and sent emails with fake order numbers and tracking promising to resend my order then they canceled it. They are a horrible company. Do not order anything from them including 1-800 FLOWERS

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered berries for my Mother for Mother's Day. They guaranteed shipping on the Saturday before. A week later and I still haven't received them, so not only was my Mother's Day surprise ruined, but I feel scammed. I've tried messaging the company on several social media platforms, I've tried getting in contact with customer service, and they WILL not give you a full refund on THEIR mistake. What a disappointment. From what I understand, this has happened to so many people this Mother's Day. What a joke of customer service. I work in the service industry and I don't complain often, but this is 100% ridiculous. Absolutely no excuses for this mess. Do yourself a favor and buy your own berries and dip them in chocolate.

On 4/24/20 I placed an order to be sent to my grandchildren (age 5, and 8) since I haven't seen them in over two months because of this Covid virus epidemic. They live in RI and you can't cross into RI from Ct. Due to the virus. I miss them dearly. I wanted the berries to be delivered on May 5th for Cinco de mayo because we alway celebrate that day together. The berries where not delivered until 8 o'clock at night and the girls where already in bed. My daughter let them get up so they could have one to celebrate. Both girls said the berries tasted funny and spit them out. My daughter agreed. Terrible! It cost me $56.96 with tax an delivery. How can you disappoint two kids at a time like this. I'll never buy your product again.

How about NO Scott. I had a good experience with this company 2 years ago. A horrible one has eclipsed it since, so never again. I can take the problems that arise from time to time, when your dealing with low grade start ups like this one. What I can not, and will not tolerate is a customer service team that doesn't care about their employers. I will spare you the details as I do not want to spread hate and discontent. This is a good opportunity for an aspiring CEO however, this one needs to be fired. I hope this delivers a smile because they are not.

They were recommended by a coworker; tried them a year ago and seemed great. I tried again this year for Mothers Day and the order sat on the delivery truck all day and returned back to the delivery sight... I was told it would be delivered next day. Not Happy, they did reschedule another order and made good on their promise, so I thought one more time for our child's 21st birthday. I kept being told it was out for delivery by a local florist; had someone wait all day and it never arrived! The automated message even said the order was out for delivery... Repeated attempts to contact them about the problem is beyond frustrating. Every call placed to customer service number results is a "there is a 60 minute wait" message and a promise to call me back. When I asked why the next day because the delivery wasn't made... I was told "the florist had to many orders and wasn't able to deliver" I will never use this company again and I recommend if you choose to; make sure the date is 2 days earlier than you want because the deliveries don't happen on time! What company tells the customer, your order wasn't delivered because the deliver company was too busy!

So Upset!

First, let me start off by saying that I understand late delivery and everything during COVID19. I know a lot of companies are being bombarded with orders because we can't spend holidays together as usual and because some workers were affected as well. But, rotted and moldy strawberries is a no no in my book! I ordered flowers from one of the partner sites and they were late, but they got there in decent condition. I ordered my MIL chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's Day from here. Was supposed to get there the day before, she never got them and the website said was still confirmed and didn't even ship yet. So, I just called them (after a 3 1/2 hour wait) finally cancelled and reimbursed (still waiting for money to come back into account) because at this point might as well just drop off something on her door step myself. 5 days later after holding and dealing with all of the craziness, my MIL has received them... Moldy and completely soggy and rotted underneath the chocolate. They were still intact so I guess they get a 1 star for that, because if no stars were an option, that's what I would put. I am embarrassed and completely upset. I'd rather her get nothing then to have received disgusting strawberries! I don't see myself ever using this company again!

I have been a long-time repeat customer of this service, but the Mother's Day order Inplaced with them for my wife arrived late and the fruit was spoiled. Repeated attempts to contact them about the problem have been frustrating. Every call Inhave placed to their customer service number results is a "there is a 60 minute wait" message and a pr9mise to call me back. Only 2 of 10 attempts generated a return call. The firsypt call was from someone on a speaker phone with a squalling baby so I co7ld nor hear her. The second return call was at 5 a.m. Repeated e-mails to their customer service department have resulted in emails assuring me they care and a request I call them with the complaint. The calls go to the standard "one hour wait" line.

The site claims to have a chat option, but it is obviously simply a bot, not a person.

They need to invest in human operators to respond to customer complaints.

Too bad you can't leave ZERO stars, because that's what they deserve. My son ordered some for his mom (my wife) for Mother's Day. Arrived a day late, packed with ONE cold pack that was liquid and lukewarm. The strawberries were lukewarm and almost liquid. Smelled bad, inedible. Have been trying to call their customer service now for four days. Wait times anywhere from "more than sixty minutes" to "more than two hours." Held one time for an hour and half but never got anyone. Even tried the "place an order" option but couldn't get anyone. I'm telling my son to dispute the charge, but I will continue to try them just so I can tell then what I think about their service. At $5 per berry, WORST DEAL EVER!

My wife's Mothers Day strawberries were supposed to be delivered Saturday 05/09 the day before Mother's Day. Instead they arrived on Tuesday 05/12. Three days late and when she opened them they were broken and warm. If I could I would give a lower rating than "1 Star".

I placed my order over a month ago & the original delivery date was 5/8. One of your Representatives a week or so before the delivery date called and asked if the order could be delivered on 5/9 and I agreed. The order was never received on 5/9, on 5/10 I waited 3 hours to talk to a representative, who ended up hanging up on me after I gave her all my information and never called back. I waited another 3 hours and a representative said there's nothing he could do to help me & the order will be delivered on Tuesday 5/12 at the latest. After I asked if there was ANYTHING at all that could be delivered - anything in the shop, not even what I ordered- on 5/10 to this rep, his response was no they have other deliveries that take priority. I agreed to the order date being pushed back again to 5/12 since that was my only option. I emailed the company as well as 1800 flowers Both on 5/9 and still no response. Today, 5/12, my order was not delivered still... I waited for over 2 hours on hold where the automated system continued to assure me that my wait time was 60 minutes when I first got on the line since the callback method hasn't worked on your line.
1800-flowers calls me back but said they're unable to help.
At this point, I don't even care about anything but getting my money back. Please issue me a refund and forget about the order. My Mother's Day gift is already ruined. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a company and still no one has responded.
