I signed up looking to find a drummer for the band. It was really easy to filter through and find exactly what I was looking for.
This is the best site to find musicians of all types and locations. The search option narrows down your searches. There is also an option to upload your videos, and pictures. Great site.
I was successful putting my band back together using band mix. I really appreciate the service.

Great website! It has worked well while I was looking for a band and will use this for sure in the future again!
This is a great way to connect with musicians in other areas of your city. Great opportunity to start a band and further your musical career
Been with band mix about 7 months, I first joined the free site, shortly I became a full member, boy is it with the 12 dollars a month. I found a couple of great guys that have lead me to two bands, One classic rock, and the other country. Wasn't looking for either when I started out. I was look g for a funk band, something similar to Graham Central Station. I am happy were I am now and I know I will meet the people I looking for. Thanks Bandmix.

We found our frontman! It would not have happened without BandMix.com and we will gladly use their service for any potential bandmate vacancies!
I was in a band shortly after joining, and the credit card fee for a one month membership, which means you can contact anybody, is honestly really priced fairly
I was skeptical for sure with the claims bandmix tends to make. But I signed up and decided to try it out for myself. So glad that I did! I went from the rare solo gig to joining an established and touring band out of Tampa. And let me tell ya, it's been a ride! Give bandmix a shot! Lotta cool musicians on here.
If you just moved to a new town (like I had), it can be a little daunting to hit the ground running and find a bunch of like minded musicians to jam with -- but Bandmix allowed me to do just that. Musicians should take a look.
Creating a profile was simple, and after just a few days, we were able to get together with several talented musicians. Definitely recommend if you are tired of all the shadiness on craigslist.
Got no satisfaction and canceled and still they charged my card. Do not. Do not. Do not apply to bandmix!
Poor integration with its online forum, non-responsive support. Pay to play. Requires a great deal of profile information. Search engine is rudimentary.
It was all going OK until I actually wanted to communicate with a musician and then they wanted a credit card. Pretty much a bait and switch. I found https://www.musiciansconnect.net and never looked back. It's totally free as advertised.
A cheesy site that asks for a lot of stupid info (um 'what gear do you own?') that would only be of interest to people who can't actually play. Charging people to list their details and to be able to interact via the site is crazy (they should list for free and make their money via advertising on the site), and those bs auto emails you get every week claiming that '12 people have viewed your profile this week' are just fiction.
I didn't have alot of faith in bandmix... ok, well, barely any. I've played music nearly all of my 32 years in some form or another, and I've always found people through music store ads and personal contacts (more on the latter end... footwork always helps). My band was getting pretty frustrated at the lackluster legions of drummers (umm, all two of them!). I posted EVERYWHERE I could, and nothing... nothing... nothing. We're weird, I give you that, as anyone who remotely thinks country and metal should be crossed is unusual (no, I'm not talking Glam Metal or Nu-Metal... that would be just plain stupid... and definately no Pop Country Radio Shiznit). Well, BandMix was the only one of the above that paid off. Seriously. Music Store Ads - Zero. Other Internet (including Harmony Central and whatnot) - Zero, Local Contacts (A noncommital 36 year old ex-junkie and 1 17 year old ex-junkie... we even gave them a chance!), and all my local musician drummer friends are taken and pretty commited. We got an E-Mail to our FREE account, and it paid off. A professional drummer, with road experience, contacted us and the chemistry worked. We're all dedicated (hell, the dedication level is a good idea... I won't scoff again!) with professional equipment (I thought that was a "brag" section for the trust fundies) and a desire to original material. We'll be on the road soon. We'll always remember BandMix... Thanks.
Thank you for the service and getting me hooked up with the band that I'm now in. This was all due to someone reading my profile on your site. It was well worth the few payments. Good luck with the business and I hope that others find it as helpful as I did. The website is great, but a mobile app would make it that much better. Hope that is in the works. Thanks again. Keep rocking!
I have been a member of Bandmix.com for a couple of years. I have been trying to find other musicians to start a band. I decided to become a paying member, I have sent messages to about a hundred, with no luck, Bandmix.com has stolen my money and not given me anything in return. This site is worthless, if this was a real musician site for musicians they would not charge you any money to find other musicians to start a band. My advice is to not bother with this website, it's a waste of time.
Awesome site. It was easy to use and met up with like-minded musicians. The search filters and options were very helpful. If you're a musician, BandMix is a great resource.
This was an extremely useful website during our search for a bass player and drummer. I found it easy to use and well thought out. It took about 3 weeks to complete our new band lineup. The Bandmix design team and founder: David Sales, Knoxville, TN did a good job. I would recommend this to any of my musician friends looking for connections. -Jackson Band: "Another Way to Dream"
Answer: More TRUE profiles. I've formed 2 bands and have gotten 95% of the musician's fro Band Mix with NO B. S.
Answer: Go to your dashboard by clicking on your circled picture and scroll down to where it says music, click on the music edit sign, that will open up your "Manage Your Music" page, then click on "Upload Music" at the bottom.
Answer: I've ran into the same problem. However, if you become a paid subscriber they tend to work with you better.
