Badoo is a nice application but it has problems like all the others, i. E. fake accounts and fees, but generally it's ok. From myself I recommend similar to Badoo - Kupido24 website

I live in Thailand, real members often send the very same message in casual English to me. I contact them, it turns out they do not speak English at all, they did not intended to send me a message and they are shocked to see a screenshot of their alleged message that does NOT appear in their chat history at all.
Badoo a scam? I don't know, but one thing is sure, they are a bunch of liars and cheaters.

Worst dating site ever. I paid $150 for a lifetime membership on May 18,2022 On June 8 they asked me how I liked their website I picked one star and told him that it's the worst dating site ever in less than an hour I no longer had an active membership and I had to start all over again if I wanted to continue using them. Since I paid with my Apple phone I contacted Apple and requested a refund. This company is in the UK and I would not trust him if I were you there are a lot better dating sites out there than this one and by the way I think they own bumble too. So if you're thinking about that dating site I would think twice

Had been using the site for a few months and decided to buy a few credits to send more messages. Was offered a 180 day premium membership for £14.99 so decided to go for it. Was then charged £86.99. Went to PayPal to try and resolve the issue cancel the transaction or at least cancel the repeat payment agreement. Found my enhanced membership had been rescinded on doing this. No response from Badoo. So have in effect been charged £86.99 for a one day membership. They basically want the right to keep on ripping you off indefinitely. Absolutely disgusting practices from a so called reputable dating site. Would go for the free service if you want to be inundated with Tai Women looking to come to the UK but other than that steer clear and most certainly do not give them a penny. Would give them a Zero star review if that was an option

So many fake profiles used as filler, very few people are even on the app (Empty Internet Theory kinda thing.)

The so called Badoo team ( yes another "team concept " that I used hate speech! Something I was 95% sure I did not. So I asked the team to send me a copy of the dialog of who I supposedly used this hate speech.
IT WAS like pulling teeth to get it which btw I had to show proof to the team by sending a copy of my Driver's license. Well I sent the copy of the license they said they received it. My best guess without searching it's been over 3 weeks and nothing.

BEING that Badoo is owner by some super wealthy industrial Russia dude perhaps he got shot by our buddies in Ukraine. Hey it could happen?

No I'm kidding. Stay away from Badoo and never ever ever give them a dime of your cash or CC.

Lastly try finding the email address for this company. All I get is how to sign up for the site. Most of these dating sites come out of Eastern Europe and the mind set is make cash from stupid Americans...

This is an absolutely dodgy site. It will fool you to paying money. Full of fake users. Fake locations. Bots. They use fake profiles to show that there are a large user base, absolutely rubbish site.
NEVER give your card details.

It is enough for someone to false report you to get warning, and after that to be blocked.
Moderators are irrational, and something like "i dont like you" is considered hate speech and you will get permanently banned in a minutes. YOU WILL NOT GET REFUND if they decided that your answer to someone "sorry, i dont like asians" is hate speech, and just like that your account will be terminated, WHILE YOUR CREDIT CARD CONTINUE TO BE CHARGED. Just escape and NEVER REGISTER on this scam site, where there a lot of fake profiles anyway.

This is a bogus dating site. They steal information and sell on to others. The site is full of dodgy people. Surely many of them would be spies. This site encourages to change location and fake profile photos.
Reading through other comments on Sitejabber, there are not a single good comment about Badoo which makes me think that I am not wrong.
Purely fake dating site.

First, i was scammed for money. They charge me way more then i agreed to, and then they refuse to give me money back. Second, after scam me, they block my account because someone report me. I talked with a lot of people and never had any problem with anyone, but i reject a lot of people, and someone probably false report me. And they just block my account. Dont use this app, and dont ever gave your card info to them

I'm critical for all dating websites but this one is OK. In my opinion, it's on one level with Tinder. There are good people, but many scammers too. I met my girlfriend on this website and I really happy

Used this site for a week. Was convinced that it was up to no good. Deleted it.
Many profiles looks fake on Badoo and with changed locations. Full on unused profiles. Absolutely no good.

ASIO has been warning of fake users and spies on dating sites. This site supports fraudulent activities, allowing fake profiles and changed locations. Badoo's owner (Bumble) is on the list.

I would say, never give your credit card details or personal information to this site.

They allowed my profile to be hacked... Went to log in and got a message saying. Wrong password... Thought I'd typed it wrong... Did it again... Same message... Tried to do a password reset... Using forgot password feature... It then said my e-mail address was wrong... It wasnt... By now I'm getting annoyed... I'd been on the site for a long time so knew my details were correct...
I then complained to Badoo... And they said I'd broken some violation rule... What a load of rubbish!
I've always been polite to anyone I've spoken to on the site... And don't use rude words.
So how can Badoo explain that my password was somehow wrong... Reason... Because they allowed it to be changed... And I did'nt receive an e-mail to tell me it had...
So to me member/profile security on the site is'nt very good...
And the violation excuse was how they tried to deny it... Plus they did'nt even tell me what the so-called violation was either...

We have decided to permanently block your profile for being in violation of our Guidelines.

They steal data and sell to third parties. Surprisingly I have started to receive a lot of spam messages on my phone number from the week I registered in Badoo. I did not register my number elsewhere.
The website consists of 99% fake profiles and users who lie on their location.

Several people have complained of Badoo being a fraud and inappropriately charging customers from their credit card.

Recently i found out that i had a account using the free version fo badoo, so i decide to reactivate my free account to see just for fun. I start watching profile, couple was my style so i start adding them (50 by days since it's the max you can go with a free account), after about 2 months i got my first women that accept to talk, i start by a ''how are you''... after silence for another 2 weeks, when she answer she told me that she never asked to talk with me (even if i receive a email for badoo claiming it), the next 10 women never answer anything. Another one when to the extreme of talking about wedding right from the beginning. Without knowing anything about me (we never talked), when i say that i was interested to talk more before to know her better, she quit the conversation. Dumb website with unrealistic women.

Have had a piad premium account for a while, also purchased regular credits to send messages. (which i feel makes no sense its like a double paymen)

Never av i tried to sell or market anyting. Why after years would i do that. Further more after back and forth mails, their reply was a mistake and not cause of marketing or commercial, but i still violated their rules( see below attached of their aknkowledment on mistake) which i had asked for proof what did i do. In any event, why dont they send a warning, we have like" we have noted u recently violated a rule. Please avoid again etc etc etc. They get complaints n just take it as gospil... i had just renewed n also had 2550credits. All lost... Bloody thieves. No1 wants to engage with proof..

I spent £1.90 on premium for 1 day.
I check my bank account a few minutes later to see that they've taken an additional £39 for 'credits' that I did NOT authorise, want, or get any request to purchase. I've submitted an unauthorised payment ticket with paypal. Hopefully I can wash my hands of this soon.

For your own wallet's safety, don't touch Badoo's premium service.

This site demands since few that we picture ourselves in a given pose to proove our existence and access more options. But as soon sent was done, requiring several boring attempts, each and every of my older pictures that were totally fine were deleted automatically. I've therefore resend some that were first accepte... but next day, adding a new one made them all reviewed and deleted again by the robot. All were fully respecting the Guidelines (blurry ones, as we'll see soon) of the site. So i went to contact their support team, hoping to be able to reach a human hoping for less stubborness... but that immediately jumped into denial of the technical problem i was reporting. I then politely and factually tried to underline the non-sense of this accept-reject illogical sequence, but the very answer i then received was... the ban of my account with 2 different reasons in 2 distinct emails: one pretending some members (?) reported me as fake profile (!), then the other saying i didn't observe the Guidelines (never explaining how exactly). So i can conclude there's a very serious issue as much technical than commercial on this site, the customer isn't respected if not contempted, the ban is unexplained and abusive and you can find all around the web some comments confirming the same bad experience. I suppose some employee paid by the site will soon comment my evaluation with a vague copy paste justifying the unjustifiable, we can see it so under various witnesses. This won't improve neither experience nor despicable image this site and its staff are sole responsible for. Summon Guidelines in a blurry way when problem is internal does nothing but worsening the situation. Badoo should rather self-question and reorganize its bad practices, judgng by the rate of bad review they have that seem fully justified. In brief, this site that used to be nice (long ago) is now to be run away from and never recommanded... triple zero!
