I placed an order 92 dollars from the website for balloons after paying I got a phone call asking if they could replace it with flowers because they ran out of balloons, I agreed. They ended up sending such a small arrangement of four roses and filler it was so bad they ruined what was supposed to be a special moments refused to send something else or do a refund. I paid 92 dollars for this.
Ordered flowers for my neice for my sister's funeral. They were sent 3 days later and looked like something you picked in the back yard.I didn't want a refund I wanted her to have the flowers. Ordered sympathy flowers, on delivery date, I received an URGENT text...contacted them and was told they couldn't send anything even close to what I ordered... offered roses or a "seasonal bouquet" and it would be delivered a day late. Took 3 calls and 30 minutes to get refunded for a product they couldn't deliver! Threatened filing fraud charges with American Express before they were finally "able" to issue the refund. Will be watching my card closely and will never order from them again
I sent flowers for a close friends funeral. THEY WERE NEVER SENT. I would never have known if I had not been there personally.
I even called morning to make sure they would arrive before 5pm as there was only a two hour service. They assured me that they would be there.
I was recasted to show up and the the flowers not be there. I was embarrassed. It was important for the family to know "we grieved with them"
I left and called right away. They had no idea what happened and offered me $15 off my order to be sent to their house! I was like no! It was picked for a the funeral home!

The flowers we ordered were a Large White Spray ($204.90) but they didn't arrive at the funeral mass for my Uncle at 10:30am. They appeared at the cemetery at Holy Sepulchre hours later and looked like a round Charlie Brown's Christmas tree with flowers and pine. My Aunt looked so confused and we were humiliated! The small spray on the left I ordered from Ava's Flowers (supposed to be large) looked nothing like what was depicted on the web site (photo from web site), got to the cemetery (supposed to be church) 2 hours late and added to our grief of losing our Uncle. The other pictures are what my Uncle's wife ordered from another florist and shared for comparison in size and quality. I demand a refund! So so sad Ava's Flowers failed on all counts.

Totally wrong orded $160 flowers and balloons. No balloons and cheap looking dying flowers. Bad customer service
I have called several times trying to get this handled and they are not taking care of it. Was told that they would receiver the flowers never showed up again. Keep getting the runaround. Asked to speak with a manager and been on hold for half hour. I would like my money back and will order someplace else.
I paid a fee around 10am that totaled to $130 to have flowers delivered before 2pm for my mother's birthday. They called back saying they would not be able to deliver the flowers the same day. Why even have the fee posted?
I told them I wanted a refund and finally after 20 minutes on the phone, said that they put in a refund order. A couple minutes later I got a text saying that I have been refunded. Luckily I was able to find another flower shop that can get the job done. The other flower shop at around 11:30am told me they close today at 1pm but still was able to deliver.
Ordering flowers for my 10th anniversary… Decided to use Avas for the first time (by the way, there are plenty of other options)
Placed my order 13 hours before the 7 o'clock last delivery time. Within one minute received a notification via email that my order was placed and it would deliver before 7 PM. I called an hour and 10 minutes before 7 PM and found out that the order has never been picked up and would not deliver until possibly tomorrow.
I received no correspondence the entire day, giving me a status update on when the delivery would take place. When I contacted Avas they said that they had emailed the florist multiple times and didn't get a response why would they not have picked up the phone and called them!? Floral deliveries are personal, and timing is EVERYTHING!
When they finally called me back, they offered me a 25% discount to deliver them the next day, by the way, there's no way that they would remake the arrangement so the arrangement would be 24 hours old by the time they deliver… The also offered a pathetic discount of $ 28…this amount is the additional fee they charge to deliver same day!
They should be embarrassed to call themselves a floral service the customer service is terrible. They do not accommodate their customers. They do not follow up with their customers they do not follow up with their suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Do not waste your time you will be disappointed.

Pictures of what I ordered vs what was delivered...and paid $95 for it. I don't think this qualifies as "suitable substitution" so they won't get my money in the future.
Ordered a $60.00 floral arrangement for my daughters birthday. Flowers delivered was poor quality with several of the flowers dead. Was supposed to have a Happy Birthday Balloon but didn't and to make matters worse, they added over $40.00 in upcharges that were never mentioned when I placed the order bringing the total to $102.97. So disappointed! Definitely cannot recommend this company.

If you need to get a good arrangement of flowers go to the grocery store, don't waste your money at Avas this arrangements are a joke and the customer service is poor I ordered and they sent me an arrangement of dead flowers and when I called they had a lot of excuses poor quality service is $#*!ty
Arrangement wasn't even close to the photo on website. Understand substitution policy but bouquet was ugly and half the size. Never use again!
I ordered the flowers well in advance and paid extra for them to be delivered on a specific day and before 2 pm. The flowers didn't arrive until after 7 pm and they did not look like what I ordered at all. Not even close. Very aggrivated and do NOT recommend them.
Ordered flowers for my friend who experienced something very tragic. I was promised same day delivery but then received a notice the NEXT DAY by text that the arrangement I chose was not available and the next delivery date was 4 days away. A customer service agent told me she could "talk to the delivery driver and see if they can deliver next week." Why advertise Same Day Delivery? Scammers
I called for a $52.99 flower arrangement and the total cost ended up being $96. All I added was 1 mylar balloon ($6.99) and 2 latex balloons $2.99 each. That's with "free" delivery. Woman told me there was a $23.00 handling fee. Said all the florist charged that. Turned out they DONT because I called around. I wouldn't recommend them for anything
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
