This the worse company to deal with in terms of customer service. I was with the company for years and when I tried to leave they made it almost impossible to switch my phone to the new company and then after I left they did not cancel my service and charged me for a extra month. When I refused to pay the put it, they put it on my credit report and called me continually for $57. I disputed the charge and they still kept it on my credit. I finally just paid the amount to get rid of them. Don't use this service you will regret it! They suck!
My wife has had a Ma Bell/AT&T landline service account for 60 years and she has always paid by check. She has never had occasion to set up an online account for logging in and monitoring the account until this August 2022 when storm rain damaged the buried landline. Service was finally reconnected after 2.5 months and during our conversation with AT&T about closing the work order we were informed that AT&T was going to stop landline service and we had to cancel the service or switch to fiber optic.The back history is that her AT&T service had always been active during power outages so she decided to keep the service and she assumed that would not change. We were assured by AT&T that we would not be charged for the 2.5 months of no service. But the bills were sent to us for September and October.
A technician came a week later and changed the landline to fiber optic. I asked him if the service would be affected by a power outage and he said that it would go dead. That reply triggered a whole day of talking with several customer service associates and being transferred several times. They had signed us up for Internet which we did not request nor want plus home phone which we wanted. By day's end the account and service was cancelled and the hardware will be removed the next day. When the technician completed the fiber optic installation he gave me a slip of paper with the account login which I used to set up the account management but there was a glaring defect in the site software. The site responded properly to the new user ID and password but all account navigation buttons did not respond. Tech assistance was not able to help to correct the problem.
AT&T IS THE WORST AND I MEAN WORST COMPANY TO HAVE SERVICE WITH! I HAVE A BUSINESS ACCOUNT AND I CANT DO MY JOB BECAUSE THEY SUSPENDED MY SERVICE BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM IS INCOMPETENT! I CANT EVEN MAKE A PAYMENT TO MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS DONE! WHAT PHONE COMPANY SYSTEM GOES DOWN!? THIS IS THE WORST PHONE COMPANY! I HATE YALL! AND IF YOU ARE EMPLOYED HERE I HATE YOU TOO!
ATT wrongly charged us then shut off our phones and WON'T fix it! They made the error and then said nothing they can do! We are now without phone service. It's affecting my husbands work and emergency needs for kids!

An unfortunate experience. I thought that Atnt would do the right thing and adjust the bill accordingly. They charged me for three months of service I never used. They also charged me for the equipment and it was returned when the service was canceled. I had a great experience until just recently. I will never purchase or utilize their services ever again. They lost myself and gained a terrible review over $200.
AT&T waste people's time. Since January and the switch to 5G I've spent over 10 hours with customer support. Self analysis my phone doing troubleshooting you name it I've done it. Long story short. Had to switch back to 4G twice now, and still have unreasonable services. Awful company.
It is incredible HOW these idiots stay in business. Absolutely horrendous customer service. The worst of any business anywhere. ALL my services have been with these inbred d*ck s*ckers for over 15 years. My internet service has been in and out 30 plus times. They keep sending dumb*cks to repair it only for it not to work next week. Directv stream service is a nightmare. It works when to wants to and its not very often. I have had a bad TV unit for months and they have not will not replace it. I am on hold for customer service for hours at a time. I have honestly spent a total of 40 hours on hold with these c*ck s*ckers. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR get another service. STAY AWAY FROM AT&T.
I have the AT&T Internet 100 plan. With my ACP benefit applied, my monthly bill should be $0. However, for the past 4 months, AT&T has been billing me different amounts ($35 in August, $41 in Sept., $55 in Oct., $61 in Nov.). I've spent hours on the phone with AT&T, confirmed this was in error with a supervisor last week, and was told my November bill would be $0. However, today they just drafted another $61 out of my bank account. I am FURIOUS. People on limited incomes can't afford surprise bills — that's the whole point of the ACP, and what it promises to the consumer.
Since numerous phone calls to AT&T obviously did not solve the problem of these surprise bills, I am escalating this to a formal complaint. I want a REFUND and a written pledge from AT&T that they will honor their ACP contract with the federal government and with me in the future. No more surprise bills or illegal drafts from my bank!
I went into the ft.wright ky store to upgrade my phone from iPhone11 max pro to a 14 the guy was unable to upgrade it at the time due to their system so I called the upgrade center thought I got it completed wait 5 days still no new phone so I called back and they didn't put the order in so I had to redo to process again from the 3rd on Friday they insured me that my new phone would be at my house on Monday. And yet still no phone I'm actually considering switch companies it shouldn't be this hard to upgrade a phone
I hardly ever leave reviews. But this is the worst experience in customer service i have ever had. A family member put a phone under my name and ran up the bill. I paid At&T off and closed the account. Customer Service rep said if the phone was returned I can get a refund for the phone because it was a new phone recently purchased. So the phone was returned and they refunded me the money. A year later they send me an letter that I'm in collections. This is nonsense. They are crooks and try to steal people money. I will never do business with them. They are unethical and their customer service is horrible. They are insensitive. When I told them that these charges where not authorized by me and I want to close the account due to fraud they tried to sell me more products and told me I should not close the account because the fraudsters would lose the phone numbers. WHAT!?! Where do they receive their training?! It is the worst I have ever experienced.I have been in customer service for over 20 years and have never experience this level of horrible service. Save yourself the headache this company just want your money and does not value you as a customer. #classactionlawsuit
After returning equipment, I got a bill for $150. After working with 2 online agent, problem was not resolved. I had already gotten an email thanking me for returning equipment 2 weeks earlier and was still billed. I wasted an hour trying to work with these people. Customer service is a nightmare. They finally told me that it was resolved and would be taken off the bill. Apparently, right arm doesn't know what left arm is doing.
Their customer service tells you whatever they have to while they have you on the phone but none of that comes to fruition. I've tried to do the trading upgrade twice now and both times everything is all lies and I still have to pay the full amount for the phone! I definitely don't recommend the trade-in as it is a total scam!

On November 11,2022 Jonathan Vaknine came to my home prior to a tech arrival. He discussed customer service among other things. The Tech was supposed to be at my home between 10 and 12. I excused Jonathan at 11:30.Well the tech didn't arrive until 12:45 and didn't leave until 2pm. I missed my doctors appointment and I had to reschedule. I called November 12,2022 because the damn cable does not work. I called Jonathan Vaknine he didn't answer called Sam the tech he didn't answer and by the way he told me to call him. So I called AT&T spoke to Marlenia who the tells me I have to go without cable until the 11-15. UNACCEPTABLE AT&T AND THIS IS YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE JONATHAN?

I was an employee for 21 years. Started out as bellsouth and things were great.As soon as corporate AT&T took over everything went to $#*!s. I know what some people are thinking is that "oh no now you have to start working" but that's not the case at all. I'm a very hard worker and like to know that I'm trusted to do the job that I'm great at and know how to do but that's not the case. Got a chance to get an early buy out and never looked back!
My company has 18 cell phones with AT&T and when I wanted to port the cell phones to T-Mobile (Best customer Service in the industry) I spent over 13 hours spanded over 4 days and was only able to unlock one cell phone and had to spend another 3 plus hours on the phone dealing with the most incompetent individuals to get the line opened to port it. First they told me we had to pay off the cell phones, which we did. Then they told me I have to go online and request the phone to be unlocked. Only problem is their system would not unlock our cell phones. Then after multiple calls and being hung up on and misinformed I was finally able to get one phone unlocked. However, I could not have the number ported as this is an entirely different process and will probably take me another 10 plus hours to accomplish per cell phone. To me this falls under the rhelm of holding me hostage as my company owns the equipment and they will not allow us to use our property how we see fit and on whtever network provider we choose. If you are reading this and you are thinking of walking into an AT&T Store I advise you to take my advise and start running as fast as you can in any direction that is away from the store. Go to T-Mobile or Verizon but stay clear of AT&T as they are a horible company and I do not wish my experience to happen to anyone. If you become an AT&T customer after reading this then you deserve the bad customer service and if they treat you like they dd my company I hope you don't need the phone numbers or you will experience what I just wrote about.
Bought a phone, rep. Stated my phone was good for a $800. Trade in. Contact att, spent many hours trying to resolve this. 3 different att reps. Have approved my credit. Now they are saying no deal. BAD, HORRIBLE SERVICE! Did I say to stay away from AT&T?
I don't even know where to start. This company is a joke. They make promises they can't keep. They change your plan without informing you. They can't get your bill right. EVER! I have only been with AT&T for 6 months and I have to call them at least 3 times month take the correct something on my bill. I have had to file two warranty claims because of faulty phones. When I filed the claims I was told I would rather new phones within 24 to 48 hours of the phone call. One phone took 6 days to get to me. On day 4 I was told by a technical support manager that I can track down the phone, find the UPS truck and go get the phone myself two states away. Now today I'm dealing with the same issue today is day 2 and the phone hasn't even been shipped, after I paid the extra money to make sure I received it within 24 to 48 hours. As of right now they are telling me the they they can't do anything to help me.

Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
