This is the worst carrier I've ever had to deal with.

My whole family and I came from Verizon and they have the best phone services! This Service At&T We have been having issues left and right our text message doesn't go through at all in any weather conditions esp if it's a little bit windy to very windy, our calls won't go through too, I have been sending messages to my family and they aren't getting my txt messages and they arent getting mine! What if I had a major emergency, I can't reach them because of this service, and the crooked thing is we all came to At&T with brand new iphones that were paid off all upgraded iphones and said to us we wont have to pay any payments in the phones we will be getting for our phones as a trade and Guess what we have a phone payment for each line of service paying for the phones and if we wanted to go back to Verizon we would have to pay the remainder for each phone of what they cost even though we gave them our brand new Iphones each Iphone over 1200.00 paid off! THEY LIE TO YOU, THEY RIP YOU OFF AND THEY TRAP YOU! We have to Pay another 26 months with At&T for a piece of plastic and glass and we can not even communicate! DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH AT&T the WORST SERVICE EVER! WE WISH WE NEVER LEFT VERIZON! I DONT KNOW HOW THEIR SERVICES FOR MOBILE IS STILL IN BUSINESS! THEY SUCKED THEN AND THEY STILL SUCK NOW!
I recently had an unpleasant experience with an AT&T agent at the Costco who misled me into trying their service for 7 days with the promise that I could return the modem if I was not satisfied. However, when I received the modem and decided not to try the service, the agent instructed me to return the modem to AT&T through UPS without opening the box. Despite returning the modem as instructed, I continued to receive bills for the service that I never used.
I contacted the agent several times to dispute the bills, but I was repeatedly assured that the issue had been resolved with the manager. To my disappointment, I continued to receive more bills and the agent eventually informed me that I had to pay all the bills, even though I had returned the modem on time and never used the service. I lost my phone, which contained all the chat messages that could have supported my case.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience that caused me undue stress and financial burden. I strongly advise other customers to be cautious of the AT&T trial offer and to be aware of the risks of trusting their agents. I hope that AT&T can take steps to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers in the future.
Overall, I cannot recommend AT&T based on my experience.

They make it impossible to switch phone plans, even when I only use prepaid. It's also impossible for me to get international service. Bad overalln

I do not like the fact that you have AT&T and your stores bothering people to start service and there's no one to help when there's a problem because there's a third-party company. You have them in your store they bother me and get me to switch my phone service now I can't get my phone number back to where I wanted and no one wants to help not AT&T not the representative at Sam's Club, not the Sam's Club representative everyone says go here but I'm the one stuck with a phone that I don't need and no one wants to take it back where is the justice someone needs to be accountable for this I am the consumer I shop in your store you allow them in your store then you are responsible for them being in your store starting up service and not taking care of their customers. That guy Jamal working in your store in Connecticut needs to get fired I do not appreciate him lying to me about this plan that is not factual.
Never in any of my years have I ever dealt with a phone carrier that has zero customer service zero lack of respect for their customers. We have only been customers with AT&T for five months since then it has been pure hell and chaos. We should've stayed with T-Mobile.
The customer service representatives were absolutely no help. If you're looking for answers are great service stay the hell away from AT&T. I wouldn't recommend this company for the dead. Now I have to figure out how to hell to break out of this contract. I am so disappointed.
I cancelled my Uverse and Internet service on Jan 28th. I made a payment days prior. When contacting them about a refund they said I had to wait for the next billing cycle. I get a bill on 2/14 with a credit balance. Now I call again and they tell me they will send my money 45 days later from last bill. Im told I should expect prepaid debit card on 3/25. AT&T service has gone downhill for years. Sure they get rated #1 but that is not saying much as the other telecoms are not that good as well. Meanwhile they are making interest on my money they owe me.
This is by far THE WORST retailer for phone & Internet service.Ordered a watch it got lost bills higher than I was told. I have been lied to from the time I ordered this service until now. I STRONGLY advise NOT to become a customer with At&t.
AT&T sucks all of my family names is on the phones that we have and if you do not have that count number you can not get a replacement phone or if you don't have permission you cannot get a replacement phone but my name is on the bill with my phone number but I can't get replacement phone for my cracked glass screen so you're telling me keep the phone and it doesn't matter if it's broke you cannot get a replacement f*** AT&T
Upgraded to 1000 mbps because 500 mbps plan only got me 20-100 mbps. Not enough to watch a movie and game at the same time. Service has been constantly dropping and I have dropped during meetings because of it. The second I get a chance to find a better internet provider I'm doing it. Also, customer service is both unhelpful and completely not understandable.
This is by far the worst customer service! They do not listen to you they cut you off and they do not admit the wrongdoing... I was transferred to three different people for absolutely no reason NEVER AGAIN
I have been an ATT customer for many years because my area unfortunately doesn't have many other options. Two things that will make me switch companies as soon as another option becomes available - customer service and swindling customers. If you have any issues, their customer service is a nightmare. Essentially their system is designed to waste your time until you give up and just decide to live with the problem. Their operators have no real information or power so calling them is pointless. Second, they Will rip you off. I had a lifetime rate for tv service. They changed the name of the service which invalidated the deal, then they changed the name back. This is not a typo, it now costs 30x my original "guaranteed for life" rate. They have hidden charges and secret price hikes constantly. ATT used to be the model of a great U.S. company and it's truly sad to see what a cesspool they have become.
We purchased 6 iPhone thru Costco VIP authorized dealers. They sent 5 wrong phones and we called the same day to exchange and they sent us the run around to 3 a t and t dealers in town and it's been unreal. We are locked out of the system to exchange and they have our money. This is ridiculous. Never seen anything like this. SMH.

Chat through this app can be very frustrating as no one has any history of previous internet issues, and are rude or elusive about it when asked. We've had three technicians out to our home to fix intermittent and slow Internet, not once has a tech nor agent looked up or inquired into the history of our issues. You have to start all over again with each incident. Incredibly poor customer service, if only we had a better alternative, we would switch providers immediately. And what's even crazier, their customer service has been this way for decades.

Over the last two years I have been lied to repeatedly by their customer service department. Every customer loyalty agent tells you a different story - call each month to see if we can give you a credit, then 'we no longer give credits' then we never pro-rate our service, and you are paid up for your bundle through March 6th, then a whole new bill pops in on Feb 26 and suddenly THAT will be the last bill - I am DONE with their outtages and lost contracts and outright lies. Cox just won my business.
It was happened in physical *******@Conroe couple of week ago. Store specialist agreed positively to insert prepaid line with my trade in device which was under wireless line. Specialist consulted by his supervisor whatever he did with my phone. It was the first time I trade in with AT&T. They aware me nothing but they knew everything. It shouldn't be use prepaid line with trade in which device under wireless line. Suddenly, my device blocked and my prepaid suspended. I spent $70 installed screen and cam protectors which device already returned to warehouse and AT&T charged $49.32 for suspended line. Now AT&T saying it not refundable. I requested AT&T to return my old device but they ignored my request. Customer service saying they do nothing on it. Thanks AT&T Service.
This company thought it was a good idea to buy up and merge all other companies.Now they are too big to operate properly. Driven by greed they swallowed all the competition and now there are no other services providers in the area. So people are stuck with worthless service from a worthless company. AT&T has had 50,119 grievances filed with the Better Business Bureau over the past three years.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission.
