The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. While there are occasional mentions of product reliability, the overwhelming sentiment indicates that customers feel neglected and undervalued. This pattern points to a pressing need for the company to improve its customer service protocols and enhance accountability to regain consumer trust.

The worst service ever, do not work with people. Customer service is good. But seriously the service it terrible
This company is very dishonest. One year ago I relocated to another area of the city where AT&T did not provide services. I connected them and informed that I would needed to terminate my current business of ten plus years with them. One of their representative instructed me on what to do (1) have the services disconnected (2) Return the equipments
through UPS. I followed the specific instructions and thought that would be the end of our communication. About two months later, I received a bill for $161.25, I connected them immediately to inquire about the bill, and was told that it was for the equipments that was not received. I went back and forth with multiple representatives for three to four months, when finally one of them took the time to investigate, and discovered that the equipment was there, but was never logged into the system, and she assured me that she would correct the mistake. Nine months later I started getting phone calls from collection agencies. I repeatedly explained the situation. Today I received an alert on my credit, my credit scores dropped by 126 points. I Investigated and found out that AT&T had put the bill into collection which was reported to all of the credit companies which in turn affect my credit score by 126 points, and the only thing that I can do to correct this is to pay the BILL. After paying the bill AT&T representative told me that I did every thing right initially, and that according to the record the only thing that they needed was a reference number. Not sure what reference number he was referring to, but all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM AT&T, they are NOT for the consumers, They are DISHONEST, and will ruin your credit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM if you value your credit score. I am only a little fish in a big pond that cannot fight COMPANY. CONSUMERS BE WARE OF THE COMPANY.
I just went into Fred Meyer store in Vancouver Washington they offer me a really good deal and everything was going pretty good until
The very end so after they got all my info everything from me they make a final fraud test just to proof if it was me asking me question about nonsense of course I didn't know some of them and then they said I didn't pass the fraud test so they denied me from getting the deal I gave them all my personal info everything! And then they said I didn't pass? I was pretty upset I think is a scam from AT&T. I'm still really upset about it. I'll be watching my credit an my bank accounts this is not right.
Mi operador ha sido de gran ayuda, estuvo siempre en línea y sus conejos y ayudas han sido increíbles!
When I cancelled my account they told me I have no more payments and I'm good to go. Then they charged my account $800 and over free my account on Xmas Eve! How sick are you to do this. First of all my account is cancelled and you still use my card to draw money from my bank that's theft. We have no business relationship. Second of all, why did you tell me I have no payment due? This is evil and sick!
I moved 3 months ago to verizon but att is still charging me for nothing, Att has very bad customer service and performance, they over charged me for international calling without any making calls.
I will recommend never get the att, T-mobile and Verizon is better.
It's sad how much money AT&T makes a year and on Christmas they make their employees work! Your employees are the ones that make you so much money! Do better AT&T, hell Walmart lets their people off. What a $#*!ty company
I signed up with AT&T through Costco they lied about everything about the monthly payments about how much credit they were giving me for my phones they're promising to fix it every month but they never do the sales rep told me my bills going to be $170 monthly never been less than $235. Do not sign with AT&T you will be sorry.
Billed me $200 dollars after I canceled my crappy service. Rats from sinking ship because thay have nothing to offer in the future.
The advertising full coverage, but when I have no service "" cel towers are down or they are upgrading " there's nothing they can do
Company is a rip off. Got charged $99 dollars for a tech to come out and wasn't aware of fee to service their own equipment. Called customer service and she was rude and sounded like it was an overseas call. Not American.
I used the service for over 3 years. I moved to Europe for work. Hoping to keep my old phone number, I asked them if I can freeze the account after explaining the situation. However, I did not know that they will still charge me for the phone bill regularly. What was the point of suspending the account?
Three phone calls all taking more than an hour to finally get a appointment for a service tech to come out waited the whole four hour window that they give only to have to call again and find out they cancelled my appointment without telling me DO NOt use AT&T go any place else that has some kind of customer service
Received the advertisement in the mail to upgrade at no extra cost or lower cost. However, through November I was charged $185.19. This month is correct with $128.56. I have phone and internet through them. AT&T ALWAYS advertises something one way and does the complete opposite. Same thing happened with the whole bring us your old phone and get a new iPhone free. The phone isn't free, they just take off the installments. Ended up having it stolen and was told I had to pay for the phone. Well then it's not really free is it? And now I don't have my old phone. They do. It's annoying.
For challenge five months AT&T has been charging my bank account for a service that I called when I moved and went to AT&T store to cancell my services. I called in August to challenge the charge to my account. The AT&T Representative confirmed that they had received the equipment that I returned through UPS. At that time I confirmed that they had cancelled my "subcription".As of today ( Dec. 2) they are still charging me for services not received. I returned my equipment in July of 2023. Today I called again when I saw the charge on my bank account and the AT&T rep stated that they received the equipment on Dec of this year. This is a big contradiction to the previous rep that I spoke to in August, ( I also called in September).
I am not the only person who AT&T had done this too. I have heard other people complaining about the same thing. Now AT&T is saying that they will reimburse me and give me a credit that applies from Dec. 20 on. Unbelievable. This is how AT&T stills money from people. My advise: Don't use AT&T. They will steal your money.
At Costco I was told I would get a new iPhone for free. What a scam I got a new phone but my bill went from $59 to $103. I have been fighting with them for a year. I will be changing wireless companies after 25 years and I am canceling my Costco account. Costco is also liable for they allow AT&T sell in their store
AT&T really did a number on me. First of all n March of 2022 I was told by a sales rep that he could give us free phones (in my gut feeling I knew that was a lie). I kept asking him how. He called himself explaining this fakeness to me. So I believed the lie. So before all these shenanigans a month prior I had gotten internet with AT&T. I had left Tmobile, HUGE MISTAKE on my part. I was with Tmobile for years. I just thought I could get a better deal somewhere else. I've been in torment ever since I've been with AT&T. I hate AT&T with all my heart. Well, getting back to my story on how I got tricked by AT&T. So, all of our phones was paid for prior to me buying phones from AT&T. I had paid off our phones with Tmobile. With Tmobile I had purchased a Samsung Galaxy 10, $999.99. My 2 daughters had XS Max, $1000.00 x 2. All our phones was paid off. These were very expensive phones and nothing was wrong with them. So the AT&T sales rep promised great deals. But we didn't get great deals. All we got was very expensive phones starting payments all over again. I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra $1,199.99, my girls got Apple iPhone 13 Pro max $1,099.99 times 2. My bill goes up each month. I'm paying anywhere between $365.00 to $400.00 a month. With Tmobile I was paying $120.00 a month. AT&T customer service sucks. I didn't listen to my instinct. I listened to the hype of the AT&T sales rep. Oh yeah he said that he had to take my phones that I paid off myself so he got excellent paid for phones. He got a Samsung Galaxy 10 that I paid off and 2 iPhone 13 pro max that I paid off. AT&T ripped me off. So my question is why did I have to give the AT&T sales rep my paid off phones? After I pay these phones from AT&T off I'm returning back to Tmobile proudly. Tmobile please forgive me for leaving.
I wouldn't recommend this carrier to anyone. Unprofessional and poor customer service. The reps they have will say anything to get you to sign up for service.
I check my account and see my bill is $795 instead of $275 I tried to connect the support team for 4 hours I keep having connection issues app shuts off 4 different reps all asking to repeat the issue last rep comes and solves in 5 minutes. Question is was it a type of stealing money technique, or were you thinking customers are stupid that they won't enquire about it, how many of such cases happen in a day there are lot of elderly customers who are not aware of how to approach this issue, it's not just a $$ it's $595 extra money charged, it's a theft 4 hours of time, anger, frustration for a middle class person to deal with such a big amount is a problem I could have left it as soon as they fixed it but my question is how many more people out there are suffering such forced financial theft. AT$T I need an answer and a solution and accountability for my 4 hours high blood pressure movement.Should I just leave it and go with the flow so that many more such incidents can happen.
I was sold a service contract a few years back that ended up being double what I thought I was agreeing to. The store rep indicated an additional line would be "$5 more per month" but the fine print, which I don't think was explained accurately or even correctly ended up adding more than $100 per month. I went back in during the 30 period wherein you can still cancel, and the rep pawned it off largely on state taxes, wait till you see your next bill she said. Well next bill came, still double my old bill, but the 30 days had passed and I was on the hook for two years paying a monthly bill I would have NEVER agreed to as it was more than I could afford. I labored under that contract to the tune of nearly $3000 per year! Do NOT take the rep at their word! Of you don't know EXACTLY what you want for a plan, don't go in there. You WILL end up paying far more than you thought you agreed to. These people appear personable and professional BUT THIER PREROGATIVE IS TO UPSELL IN ANY WAY THEY CAN! Buyer beware!
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
