I received the 2500 phone and cosmetically it is great. However, I was a little disappointed as I worked in telephony and the voice and data communication world for twenty years. So when I ordered this device I was respecting something closer to the real thing (Like the Western Electric 2500). This phone has no weight and although I haven't looked inside yet...I'm assuming there are circuit boards inside. I have a 2500 which I wanted to swap out some parts, but if there are circuit boards I do not believe that is going to happen...On the other hand, I'm sure this phone will work fine otherwise, and I would recommend this device.
